الحاقة

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

1. ٱلۡحَآقَّةُ

   ✦1

   The Inevitable Reality

   ആ യഥാര്‍ത്ഥ സംഭവം

2. مَا ٱلۡحَآقَّةُ

   ✦2

   What is the Inevitable Reality

   എന്താണ് ആ യഥാര്‍ത്ഥ സംഭവം

3. وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلۡحَآقَّةُ

   ✦3

   And what can make you know what is the Inevitable Reality

   ആ യഥാര്‍ത്ഥ സംഭവം എന്താണെന്ന് നിനക്കെന്തറിയാം

4. كَذَّبَتۡ ثَمُودُ وَعَادُۢ بِٱلۡقَارِعَةِ

   ✦4

   Thamud and 'Aad denied the Striking Calamity

   ഥമൂദ് സമുദായവും ആദ് സമുദായവും ആ ഭയങ്കര സംഭവത്തെ നിഷേധിച്ചു കളഞ്ഞു

5. فَأَمَّا ثَمُودُ فَأُهۡلِكُواْ بِٱلطَّاغِيَةِ

   ✦5

   So as for Thamud, they were destroyed by the overpowering [blast]

   എന്നാല്‍ ഥമൂദ് സമുദായം അത്യന്തം ഭീകരമായ ഒരു ശിക്ഷ കൊണ്ട് നശിപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടു

6. وَأَمَّا عَادٞ فَأُهۡلِكُواْ بِرِيحٖ صَرۡصَرٍ عَاتِيَةٖ

   ✦6

   And as for 'Aad, they were destroyed by a screaming, violent wind

   എന്നാല്‍ ആദ് സമുദായം, ആഞ്ഞു വീശുന്ന അത്യുഗ്രമായ കാറ്റ് കൊണ്ട് നശിപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടു

7. سَخَّرَهَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ سَبۡعَ لَيَالٖ وَثَمَٰنِيَةَ أَيَّامٍ حُسُومٗاۖ فَتَرَى ٱلۡقَوۡمَ فِيهَا صَرۡعَىٰ كَأَنَّهُمۡ أَعۡجَازُ نَخۡلٍ خَاوِيَةٖ

   ✦7

   Which Allah imposed upon them for seven nights and eight days in succession, so you would see the people therein fallen as if they were hollow trunks of palm trees

   തുടര്‍ച്ചയായ ഏഴു രാത്രിയും എട്ടു പകലും അത് (കാറ്റ്‌) അവരുടെ നേര്‍ക്ക് അവന്‍ തിരിച്ചുവിട്ടു. അപ്പോള്‍ കടപുഴകി വീണ ഈന്തപ്പനത്തടികള്‍ പോലെ ആ കാറ്റില്‍ ജനങ്ങള്‍ വീണുകിടക്കുന്നതായി നിനക്ക് കാണാം

8. فَهَلۡ تَرَىٰ لَهُم مِّنۢ بَاقِيَةٖ

   ✦8

   Then do you see of them any remains

   ഇനി അവരുടെതായി അവശേഷിക്കുന്ന വല്ലതും നീ കാണുന്നുണ്ടോ

9. وَجَآءَ فِرۡعَوۡنُ وَمَن قَبۡلَهُۥ وَٱلۡمُؤۡتَفِكَٰتُ بِٱلۡخَاطِئَةِ

   ✦9

   And there came Pharaoh and those before him and the overturned cities with sin

   ഫിര്‍ഔനും, അവന്‍റെ മുമ്പുള്ളവരും കീഴ്മേല്‍ മറിഞ്ഞ രാജ്യങ്ങളും (തെറ്റായ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനം കൊണ്ടു വന്നു)

10. فَعَصَوۡاْ رَسُولَ رَبِّهِمۡ فَأَخَذَهُمۡ أَخۡذَةٗ رَّابِيَةً

    ✦10

    And they disobeyed the messenger of their Lord, so He seized them with a seizure exceeding [in severity]

    അവര്‍ അവരുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്‍റെ ദൂതനെ ധിക്കരിക്കുകയും, അപ്പോള്‍ അവന്‍ അവരെ ശക്തിയേറിയ ഒരു പിടുത്തം പിടിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു

11. إِنَّا لَمَّا طَغَا ٱلۡمَآءُ حَمَلۡنَٰكُمۡ فِي ٱلۡجَارِيَةِ

    ✦11

    Indeed, when the water overflowed, We carried your ancestors in the sailing ship

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നാം, വെള്ളം അതിരുകവിഞ്ഞ സമയത്ത് നിങ്ങളെ കപ്പലില്‍ കയറ്റി രക്ഷിക്കുകയുണ്ടായി

12. لِنَجۡعَلَهَا لَكُمۡ تَذۡكِرَةٗ وَتَعِيَهَآ أُذُنٞ وَٰعِيَةٞ

    ✦12

    That We might make it for you a reminder and [that] a conscious ear would be conscious of it

    നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് നാം അതൊരു സ്മരണയാക്കുവാനും ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചു മനസ്സിലാക്കുന്ന കാതുകള്‍ അത് ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചു മനസ്സിലാക്കുവാനും വേണ്ടി

13. فَإِذَا نُفِخَ فِي ٱلصُّورِ نَفۡخَةٞ وَٰحِدَةٞ

    ✦13

    Then when the Horn is blown with one blast

    കാഹളത്തില്‍ ഒരു ഊത്ത് ഊതപ്പെട്ടാല്‍

14. وَحُمِلَتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ وَٱلۡجِبَالُ فَدُكَّتَا دَكَّةٗ وَٰحِدَةٗ

    ✦14

    And the earth and the mountains are lifted and leveled with one blow

    ഭൂമിയും പര്‍വ്വതങ്ങളും പൊക്കിയെടുക്കപ്പെടുകയും എന്നിട്ട് അവ രണ്ടും ഒരു ഇടിച്ചു തകര്‍ക്കലിന് വിധേയമാക്കപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്താല്‍

15. فَيَوۡمَئِذٖ وَقَعَتِ ٱلۡوَاقِعَةُ

    ✦15

    Then on that Day, the Resurrection will occur

    അന്നേ ദിവസം ആ സംഭവം സംഭവിക്കുകയായി

16. وَٱنشَقَّتِ ٱلسَّمَآءُ فَهِيَ يَوۡمَئِذٖ وَاهِيَةٞ

    ✦16

    And the heaven will split [open], for that Day it is infirm

    ആകാശം പൊട്ടിപ്പിളരുകയും ചെയ്യും. അന്ന് അത് ദുര്‍ബലമായിരിക്കും

17. وَٱلۡمَلَكُ عَلَىٰٓ أَرۡجَآئِهَاۚ وَيَحۡمِلُ عَرۡشَ رَبِّكَ فَوۡقَهُمۡ يَوۡمَئِذٖ ثَمَٰنِيَةٞ

    ✦17

    And the angels are at its edges. And there will bear the Throne of your Lord above them, that Day, eight [of them]

    മലക്കുകള്‍ അതിന്‍റെ നാനാഭാഗങ്ങളിലുമുണ്ടായിരിക്കും. നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്‍റെ സിംഹാസനത്തെ അവരുടെ മീതെ അന്നു എട്ടുകൂട്ടര്‍ വഹിക്കുന്നതാണ്‌

18. يَوۡمَئِذٖ تُعۡرَضُونَ لَا تَخۡفَىٰ مِنكُمۡ خَافِيَةٞ

    ✦18

    That Day, you will be exhibited [for judgement]; not hidden among you is anything concealed

    അന്നേ ദിവസം നിങ്ങള്‍ പ്രദര്‍ശിപ്പിക്കപ്പെടുന്നതാണ്‌. യാതൊരു മറഞ്ഞകാര്യവും നിങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്ന് മറഞ്ഞു പോകുന്നതകല്ല

19. فَأَمَّا مَنۡ أُوتِيَ كِتَٰبَهُۥ بِيَمِينِهِۦ فَيَقُولُ هَآؤُمُ ٱقۡرَءُواْ كِتَٰبِيَهۡ

    ✦19

    So as for he who is given his record in his right hand, he will say, "Here, read my record

    എന്നാല്‍ വലതുകൈയില്‍ തന്‍റെ രേഖ നല്‍കപ്പെട്ടവന്‍ പറയും: ഇതാ എന്‍റെ ഗ്രന്ഥം വായിച്ചുനോക്കൂ

20. إِنِّي ظَنَنتُ أَنِّي مُلَٰقٍ حِسَابِيَهۡ

    ✦20

    Indeed, I was certain that I would be meeting my account

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഞാന്‍ വിചാരിച്ചിരുന്നു. ഞാന്‍ എന്‍റെ വിചാരണയെ നേരിടേണ്ടി വരുമെന്ന്‌

21. فَهُوَ فِي عِيشَةٖ رَّاضِيَةٖ

    ✦21

    So he will be in a pleasant life

    അതിനാല്‍ അവന്‍ തൃപ്തികരമായ ജീവിതത്തിലാകുന്നു

22. فِي جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٖ

    ✦22

    In an elevated garden

    ഉന്നതമായ സ്വര്‍ഗത്തില്‍

23. قُطُوفُهَا دَانِيَةٞ

    ✦23

    Its [fruit] to be picked hanging near

    അവയിലെ പഴങ്ങള്‍ അടുത്തു വരുന്നവയാകുന്നു

24. كُلُواْ وَٱشۡرَبُواْ هَنِيٓـَٔۢا بِمَآ أَسۡلَفۡتُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَيَّامِ ٱلۡخَالِيَةِ

    ✦24

    [They will be told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you put forth in the days past

    കഴിഞ്ഞുപോയ ദിവസങ്ങളില്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ മുന്‍കൂട്ടി ചെയ്തതിന്‍റെ ഫലമായി നിങ്ങള്‍ ആനന്ദത്തോടെ തിന്നുകയും കുടിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു കൊള്ളുക. (എന്ന് അവരോട് പറയപ്പെടും)

25. وَأَمَّا مَنۡ أُوتِيَ كِتَٰبَهُۥ بِشِمَالِهِۦ فَيَقُولُ يَٰلَيۡتَنِي لَمۡ أُوتَ كِتَٰبِيَهۡ

    ✦25

    But as for he who is given his record in his left hand, he will say, "Oh, I wish I had not been given my record

    എന്നാല്‍ ഇടതു കയ്യില്‍ ഗ്രന്ഥം നല്‍കപ്പെട്ടവനാകട്ടെ ഇപ്രകാരം പറയുന്നതാണ്‌. ഹാ! എന്‍റെ ഗ്രന്ഥം എനിക്ക് നല്‍കപ്പെടാതിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍

26. وَلَمۡ أَدۡرِ مَا حِسَابِيَهۡ

    ✦26

    And had not known what is my account

    എന്‍റെ വിചാരണ എന്താണെന്ന് ഞാന്‍ അറിയാതിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍ (എത്ര നന്നായിരുന്നു)

27. يَٰلَيۡتَهَا كَانَتِ ٱلۡقَاضِيَةَ

    ✦27

    I wish my death had been the decisive one

    അത് (മരണം) എല്ലാം അവസാനിപ്പിക്കുന്നതായിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍ (എത്ര നന്നായിരുന്നു)

28. مَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنِّي مَالِيَهۡۜ

    ✦28

    My wealth has not availed me

    എന്‍റെ ധനം എനിക്ക് പ്രയോജനപ്പെട്ടില്ല

29. هَلَكَ عَنِّي سُلۡطَٰنِيَهۡ

    ✦29

    Gone from me is my authority

    എന്‍റെ അധികാരം എന്നില്‍ നിന്ന് നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടുപോയി

30. خُذُوهُ فَغُلُّوهُ

    ✦30

    [Allah will say], "Seize him and shackle him

    (അപ്പോള്‍ ഇപ്രകാരം കല്‍പനയുണ്ടാകും:) നിങ്ങള്‍ അവനെ പിടിച്ച് ബന്ധനത്തിലിടൂ

31. ثُمَّ ٱلۡجَحِيمَ صَلُّوهُ

    ✦31

    Then into Hellfire drive him

    പിന്നെ അവനെ നിങ്ങള്‍ ജ്വലിക്കുന്ന നരകത്തില്‍ പ്രവേശിപ്പിക്കൂ

32. ثُمَّ فِي سِلۡسِلَةٖ ذَرۡعُهَا سَبۡعُونَ ذِرَاعٗا فَٱسۡلُكُوهُ

    ✦32

    Then into a chain whose length is seventy cubits insert him

    പിന്നെ, എഴുപത് മുഴം നീളമുള്ള ഒരു ചങ്ങലയില്‍ അവനെ നിങ്ങള്‍ പ്രവേശിപ്പിക്കൂ

33. إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ

    ✦33

    Indeed, he did not used to believe in Allah, the Most Great

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവന്‍ മഹാനായ അല്ലാഹുവില്‍ വിശ്വസിച്ചിരുന്നില്ല

34. وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلۡمِسۡكِينِ

    ✦34

    Nor did he encourage the feeding of the poor

    സാധുവിന് ഭക്ഷണം കൊടുക്കുവാന്‍ അവന്‍ പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നുമില്ല

35. فَلَيۡسَ لَهُ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ هَٰهُنَا حَمِيمٞ

    ✦35

    So there is not for him here this Day any devoted friend

    അതിനാല്‍ ഇന്ന് ഇവിടെ അവന്ന് ഒരു ഉറ്റബന്ധുവുമില്ല

36. وَلَا طَعَامٌ إِلَّا مِنۡ غِسۡلِينٖ

    ✦36

    Nor any food except from the discharge of wounds

    ദുര്‍നീരുകള്‍ ഒലിച്ചു കൂടിയതില്‍ നിന്നല്ലാതെ മറ്റു ആഹാരവുമില്ല

37. لَّا يَأۡكُلُهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱلۡخَٰطِـُٔونَ

    ✦37

    None will eat it except the sinners

    തെറ്റുകാരല്ലാതെ അതു ഭക്ഷിക്കുകയില്ല

38. فَلَآ أُقۡسِمُ بِمَا تُبۡصِرُونَ

    ✦38

    So I swear by what you see

    എന്നാല്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ കാണുന്നവയെക്കൊണ്ട് ഞാന്‍ സത്യം ചെയ്ത് പറയുന്നു

39. وَمَا لَا تُبۡصِرُونَ

    ✦39

    And what you do not see

    നിങ്ങള്‍ കാണാത്തവയെക്കൊണ്ടും

40. إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوۡلُ رَسُولٖ كَرِيمٖ

    ✦40

    [That] indeed, the Qur'an is the word of a noble Messenger

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഇത് മാന്യനായ ഒരു ദൂതന്‍റെ വാക്കു തന്നെയാകുന്നു

41. وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوۡلِ شَاعِرٖۚ قَلِيلٗا مَّا تُؤۡمِنُونَ

    ✦41

    And it is not the word of a poet; little do you believe

    ഇതൊരു കവിയുടെ വാക്കല്ല. വളരെ കുറച്ചേ നിങ്ങള്‍ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നുള്ളൂ

42. وَلَا بِقَوۡلِ كَاهِنٖۚ قَلِيلٗا مَّا تَذَكَّرُونَ

    ✦42

    Nor the word of a soothsayer; little do you remember

    ഒരു ജ്യോത്സ്യന്‍റെ വാക്കുമല്ല. വളരെക്കുറച്ചേ നിങ്ങള്‍ ആലോചിച്ചു മനസ്സിലാക്കുന്നുള്ളൂ

43. تَنزِيلٞ مِّن رَّبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

    ✦43

    [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds

    ഇത് ലോകരക്ഷിതാവിങ്കല്‍ നിന്ന് അവതരിപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടതാകുന്നു

44. وَلَوۡ تَقَوَّلَ عَلَيۡنَا بَعۡضَ ٱلۡأَقَاوِيلِ

    ✦44

    And if Muhammad had made up about Us some [false] sayings

    നമ്മുടെ പേരില്‍ അദ്ദേഹം (പ്രവാചകന്‍) വല്ല വാക്കും കെട്ടിച്ചമച്ചു പറഞ്ഞിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍

45. لَأَخَذۡنَا مِنۡهُ بِٱلۡيَمِينِ

    ✦45

    We would have seized him by the right hand

    അദ്ദേഹത്തെ നാം വലതുകൈ കൊണ്ട് പിടികൂടുകയും

46. ثُمَّ لَقَطَعۡنَا مِنۡهُ ٱلۡوَتِينَ

    ✦46

    Then We would have cut from him the aorta

    എന്നിട്ട് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്‍റെ ജീവനാഡി നാം മുറിച്ചുകളയുകയും ചെയ്യുമായിരുന്നു

47. فَمَا مِنكُم مِّنۡ أَحَدٍ عَنۡهُ حَٰجِزِينَ

    ✦47

    And there is no one of you who could prevent [Us] from him

    അപ്പോള്‍ നിങ്ങളില്‍ ആര്‍ക്കും അദ്ദേഹത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് (ശിക്ഷയെ) തടയാനാവില്ല

48. وَإِنَّهُۥ لَتَذۡكِرَةٞ لِّلۡمُتَّقِينَ

    ✦48

    And indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder for the righteous

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഇത് (ഖുര്‍ആന്‍) ഭയഭക്തിയുള്ളവര്‍ക്ക് ഒരു ഉല്‍ബോധനമാകുന്നു

49. وَإِنَّا لَنَعۡلَمُ أَنَّ مِنكُم مُّكَذِّبِينَ

    ✦49

    And indeed, We know that among you are deniers

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നിങ്ങളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില്‍ (ഇതിനെ) നിഷേധിച്ചു തള്ളുന്നവരുണ്ടെന്ന് നമുക്കറിയാം

50. وَإِنَّهُۥ لَحَسۡرَةٌ عَلَى ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ

    ✦50

    And indeed, it will be [a cause of] regret upon the disbelievers

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഇത് സത്യനിഷേധികള്‍ക്ക് ഖേദത്തിന് കാരണവുമാകുന്നു

51. وَإِنَّهُۥ لَحَقُّ ٱلۡيَقِينِ

    ✦51

    And indeed, it is the truth of certainty

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഇത് ദൃഢമായ യാഥാര്‍ത്ഥ്യമാകുന്നു

52. فَسَبِّحۡ بِٱسۡمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ

    ✦52

    So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great

    അതിനാല്‍ നീ നിന്‍റെ മഹാനായ രക്ഷിതാവിന്‍റെ നാമത്തെ പ്രകീര്‍ത്തിക്കുക
