القارعة

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

1. ٱلۡقَارِعَةُ

   ✦1

   The Striking Calamity

   ഭയങ്കരമായ ആ സംഭവം

2. مَا ٱلۡقَارِعَةُ

   ✦2

   What is the Striking Calamity

   ഭയങ്കരമായ സംഭവം എന്നാല്‍ എന്താകുന്നു

3. وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلۡقَارِعَةُ

   ✦3

   And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity

   ഭയങ്കരമായ സംഭവമെന്നാല്‍ എന്താണെന്ന് നിനക്കറിയുമോ

4. يَوۡمَ يَكُونُ ٱلنَّاسُ كَٱلۡفَرَاشِ ٱلۡمَبۡثُوثِ

   ✦4

   It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed

   മനുഷ്യന്‍മാര്‍ ചിന്നിച്ചിതറിയ പാറ്റയെപ്പോലെ ആകുന്ന ദിവസം

5. وَتَكُونُ ٱلۡجِبَالُ كَٱلۡعِهۡنِ ٱلۡمَنفُوشِ

   ✦5

   And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up

   പര്‍വ്വതങ്ങള്‍ കടഞ്ഞ ആട്ടിന്‍ രോമം പോലെയും

6. فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتۡ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ

   ✦6

   Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds]

   അപ്പോള്‍ ഏതൊരാളുടെ തുലാസുകള്‍ ഘനം തൂങ്ങിയോ

7. فَهُوَ فِي عِيشَةٖ رَّاضِيَةٖ

   ✦7

   He will be in a pleasant life

   അവന്‍ സംതൃപ്തമായ ജീവിതത്തിലായിരിക്കും

8. وَأَمَّا مَنۡ خَفَّتۡ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ

   ✦8

   But as for one whose scales are light

   എന്നാല്‍ ഏതൊരാളുടെ തുലാസുകള്‍ തൂക്കം കുറഞ്ഞതായോ

9. فَأُمُّهُۥ هَاوِيَةٞ

   ✦9

   His refuge will be an abyss

   അവന്‍റെ സങ്കേതം ഹാവിയഃ ആയിരിക്കും

10. وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا هِيَهۡ

    ✦10

    And what can make you know what that is

    ഹാവിയഃ എന്നാല്‍ എന്താണെന്ന് നിനക്കറിയുമോ

11. نَارٌ حَامِيَةُۢ

    ✦11

    It is a Fire, intensely hot

    ചൂടേറിയ നരകാഗ്നിയത്രെ അത്‌
