بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

  1. تَبَارَكَ ٱلَّذِي نَزَّلَ ٱلۡفُرۡقَانَ عَلَىٰ عَبۡدِهِۦ لِيَكُونَ لِلۡعَٰلَمِينَ نَذِيرًا

    1

    Blessed is He who sent down the Criterion upon His Servant that he may be to the worlds a warner

    തന്‍റെ ദാസന്‍റെ മേല്‍ സത്യാസത്യവിവേചനത്തിനുള്ള പ്രമാണം (ഖുര്‍ആന്‍) അവതരിപ്പിച്ചവന്‍ അനുഗ്രഹപൂര്‍ണ്ണനാകുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹം (റസൂല്‍) ലോകര്‍ക്ക് ഒരു താക്കീതുകാരന്‍ ആയിരിക്കുന്നതിനു വേണ്ടിയത്രെ അത്‌

  2. ٱلَّذِي لَهُۥ مُلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَمۡ يَتَّخِذۡ وَلَدٗا وَلَمۡ يَكُن لَّهُۥ شَرِيكٞ فِي ٱلۡمُلۡكِ وَخَلَقَ كُلَّ شَيۡءٖ فَقَدَّرَهُۥ تَقۡدِيرٗا

    2

    He to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and who has not taken a son and has not had a partner in dominion and has created each thing and determined it with [precise] determination

    ആകാശങ്ങളുടെയും ഭൂമിയുടെയും ആധിപത്യം ആര്‍ക്കാണോ അവനത്രെ (അത് അവതരിപ്പിച്ചവന്‍.) അവന്‍ സന്താനത്തെ സ്വീകരിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. ആധിപത്യത്തില്‍ അവന്ന് യാതൊരു പങ്കാളിയും ഉണ്ടായിട്ടുമില്ല. ഓരോ വസ്തുവെയും അവന്‍ സൃഷ്ടിക്കുകയും, അതിനെ അവന്‍ ശരിയാംവണ്ണം വ്യവസ്ഥപ്പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു

  3. وَٱتَّخَذُواْ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ ءَالِهَةٗ لَّا يَخۡلُقُونَ شَيۡـٔٗا وَهُمۡ يُخۡلَقُونَ وَلَا يَمۡلِكُونَ لِأَنفُسِهِمۡ ضَرّٗا وَلَا نَفۡعٗا وَلَا يَمۡلِكُونَ مَوۡتٗا وَلَا حَيَوٰةٗ وَلَا نُشُورٗا

    3

    But they have taken besides Him gods which create nothing, while they are created, and possess not for themselves any harm or benefit and possess not [power to cause] death or life or resurrection

    അവന്ന് പുറമെ പല ദൈവങ്ങളേയും അവര്‍ സ്വീകരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. അവര്‍ (ദൈവങ്ങള്‍) യാതൊന്നും സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നില്ല. അവര്‍ തന്നെയും സൃഷ്ടിക്കപ്പെടുകയാകുന്നു. തങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് തന്നെ ഉപദ്രവമോ ഉപകാരമോ അവര്‍ അധീനപ്പെടുത്തുന്നുമില്ല. മരണത്തെയോ ജീവിതത്തെയോ ഉയിര്‍ത്തെഴുന്നേല്‍പിനെയോ അവര്‍ അധീനപ്പെടുത്തുന്നില്ല

  4. وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْ إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّآ إِفۡكٌ ٱفۡتَرَىٰهُ وَأَعَانَهُۥ عَلَيۡهِ قَوۡمٌ ءَاخَرُونَۖ فَقَدۡ جَآءُو ظُلۡمٗا وَزُورٗا

    4

    And those who disbelieve say, "This [Qur'an] is not except a falsehood he invented, and another people assisted him in it." But they have committed an injustice and a lie

    സത്യനിഷേധികള്‍ പറഞ്ഞു: ഇത് (ഖുര്‍ആന്‍) അവന്‍ കെട്ടിച്ചമച്ച നുണ മാത്രമാകുന്നു. വേറെ ചില ആളുകള്‍ അവനെ അതിന് സഹായിച്ചിട്ടുമുണ്ട്‌. എന്നാല്‍ അന്യായത്തിലും വ്യാജത്തിലും തന്നെയാണ് ഈ കൂട്ടര്‍ വന്നെത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നത്‌

  5. وَقَالُوٓاْ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ ٱكۡتَتَبَهَا فَهِيَ تُمۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِ بُكۡرَةٗ وَأَصِيلٗا

    5

    And they say, "Legends of the former peoples which he has written down, and they are dictated to him morning and afternoon

    ഇത് പൂര്‍വ്വികന്‍മാരുടെ കെട്ടുകഥകള്‍ മാത്രമാണ്‌. ഇവന്‍ അത് എഴുതിച്ചുവെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു, എന്നിട്ടത് രാവിലെയും വൈകുന്നേരവും അവന്ന് വായിച്ചുകേള്‍പിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു എന്നും അവര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു

  6. قُلۡ أَنزَلَهُ ٱلَّذِي يَعۡلَمُ ٱلسِّرَّ فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ غَفُورٗا رَّحِيمٗا

    6

    Say, [O Muhammad], "It has been revealed by He who knows [every] secret within the heavens and the earth. Indeed, He is ever Forgiving and Merciful

    (നബിയേ,) പറയുക: ആകാശങ്ങളിലെയും ഭൂമിയിലെയും രഹസ്യമറിയുന്നവനാണ് ഇത് അവതരിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്‌. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവന്‍ ഏറെ പൊറുക്കുന്നവനും കരുണാനിധിയുമാകുന്നു

  7. وَقَالُواْ مَالِ هَٰذَا ٱلرَّسُولِ يَأۡكُلُ ٱلطَّعَامَ وَيَمۡشِي فِي ٱلۡأَسۡوَاقِ لَوۡلَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيۡهِ مَلَكٞ فَيَكُونَ مَعَهُۥ نَذِيرًا

    7

    And they say, "What is this messenger that eats food and walks in the markets? Why was there not sent down to him an angel so he would be with him a warner

    അവര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു: ഈ ദൂതന്‍ എന്താണിങ്ങനെ? ഇയാള്‍ ഭക്ഷണം കഴിക്കുകയും, അങ്ങാടികളിലൂടെ നടക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നല്ലോ. ഇയാളുടെ കൂടെ ഒരു താക്കീതുകാരനായിരിക്കത്തക്കവണ്ണം ഇയാളുടെ അടുത്തേക്ക് എന്ത് കൊണ്ട് ഒരു മലക്ക് ഇറക്കപ്പെടുന്നില്ല

  8. أَوۡ يُلۡقَىٰٓ إِلَيۡهِ كَنزٌ أَوۡ تَكُونُ لَهُۥ جَنَّةٞ يَأۡكُلُ مِنۡهَاۚ وَقَالَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ إِن تَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا رَجُلٗا مَّسۡحُورًا

    8

    Or [why is not] a treasure presented to him [from heaven], or does he [not] have a garden from which he eats?" And the wrongdoers say, "You follow not but a man affected by magic

    അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ എന്ത് കൊണ്ട് ഇയാള്‍ക്ക് ഒരു നിധി ഇട്ടുകൊടുക്കപ്പെടുന്നില്ല? അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ ഇയാള്‍ക്ക് (കായ്കനികള്‍) എടുത്ത് തിന്നാന്‍ പാകത്തില്‍ ഒരു തോട്ടമുണ്ടാകുന്നില്ല? (റസൂലിനെ പറ്റി) അക്രമികള്‍ പറഞ്ഞു: മാരണം ബാധിച്ച ഒരാളെ മാത്രമാകുന്നു നിങ്ങള്‍ പിന്‍പറ്റുന്നത്‌

  9. ٱنظُرۡ كَيۡفَ ضَرَبُواْ لَكَ ٱلۡأَمۡثَٰلَ فَضَلُّواْ فَلَا يَسۡتَطِيعُونَ سَبِيلٗا

    9

    Look how they strike for you comparisons; but they have strayed, so they cannot [find] a way

    അവര്‍ നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ച് എങ്ങനെയാണ് ചിത്രീകരണങ്ങള്‍ നടത്തിയതെന്ന് നോക്കൂ. അങ്ങനെ അവര്‍ പിഴച്ചു പോയിരിക്കുന്നു. അതിനാല്‍ യാതൊരു മാര്‍ഗവും കണ്ടെത്താന്‍ അവര്‍ക്ക് സാധിക്കുകയില്ല

  10. تَبَارَكَ ٱلَّذِيٓ إِن شَآءَ جَعَلَ لَكَ خَيۡرٗا مِّن ذَٰلِكَ جَنَّـٰتٖ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ وَيَجۡعَل لَّكَ قُصُورَۢا

    10

    Blessed is He who, if He willed, could have made for you [something] better than that - gardens beneath which rivers flow - and could make for you palaces

    താന്‍ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്ന പക്ഷം അതിനെക്കാള്‍ ഉത്തമമായത് അഥവാ താഴ്ഭാഗത്തു കൂടി നദികള്‍ ഒഴുകുന്ന തോപ്പുകള്‍ നിനക്ക് നല്‍കുവാനും നിനക്ക് കൊട്ടാരങ്ങള്‍ ഉണ്ടാക്കിത്തരുവാനും കഴിവുള്ളവനാരോ അവന്‍ അനുഗ്രഹപൂര്‍ണ്ണനാകുന്നു

  11. بَلۡ كَذَّبُواْ بِٱلسَّاعَةِۖ وَأَعۡتَدۡنَا لِمَن كَذَّبَ بِٱلسَّاعَةِ سَعِيرًا

    11

    But they have denied the Hour, and We have prepared for those who deny the Hour a Blaze

    അല്ല, അന്ത്യസമയത്തെ അവര്‍ നിഷേധിച്ചു തള്ളിയിരിക്കുന്നു. അന്ത്യസമയത്തെ നിഷേധിച്ച് തള്ളിയവര്‍ക്ക് കത്തിജ്വലിക്കുന്ന നരകം നാം ഒരുക്കിവെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു

  12. إِذَا رَأَتۡهُم مِّن مَّكَانِۭ بَعِيدٖ سَمِعُواْ لَهَا تَغَيُّظٗا وَزَفِيرٗا

    12

    When the Hellfire sees them from a distant place, they will hear its fury and roaring

    ദൂരസ്ഥലത്ത് നിന്ന് തന്നെ അത് അവരെ കാണുമ്പോള്‍ ക്ഷോഭിച്ചിളകുന്നതും ഇരമ്പുന്നതും അവര്‍ക്ക് കേള്‍ക്കാവുന്നതാണ്‌

  13. وَإِذَآ أُلۡقُواْ مِنۡهَا مَكَانٗا ضَيِّقٗا مُّقَرَّنِينَ دَعَوۡاْ هُنَالِكَ ثُبُورٗا

    13

    And when they are thrown into a narrow place therein bound in chains, they will cry out thereupon for destruction

    അതില്‍ (നരകത്തില്‍) ഒരു ഇടുങ്ങിയ സ്ഥലത്ത് ചങ്ങലകളില്‍ ബന്ധിക്കപ്പെട്ട നിലയില്‍ അവരെ ഇട്ടാല്‍ അവിടെ വെച്ച് അവര്‍ നാശമേ, എന്ന് വിളിച്ചുകേഴുന്നതാണ്‌

  14. لَّا تَدۡعُواْ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ ثُبُورٗا وَٰحِدٗا وَٱدۡعُواْ ثُبُورٗا كَثِيرٗا

    14

    [They will be told], "Do not cry this Day for one destruction but cry for much destruction

    ഇന്ന് നിങ്ങള്‍ ഒരു നാശത്തെ വിളിക്കേണ്ടതില്ല. ധാരാളം നാശത്തെ വിളിച്ചുകൊള്ളുക. (എന്നായിരിക്കും അവര്‍ക്ക് കിട്ടുന്ന മറുപടി)

  15. قُلۡ أَذَٰلِكَ خَيۡرٌ أَمۡ جَنَّةُ ٱلۡخُلۡدِ ٱلَّتِي وُعِدَ ٱلۡمُتَّقُونَۚ كَانَتۡ لَهُمۡ جَزَآءٗ وَمَصِيرٗا

    15

    Say, "Is that better or the Garden of Eternity which is promised to the righteous? It will be for them a reward and destination

    (നബിയേ,) പറയുക; അതാണോ ഉത്തമം, അതല്ല ധര്‍മ്മനിഷ്ഠപാലിക്കുന്നവര്‍ക്ക് വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുള്ള ശാശ്വത സ്വര്‍ഗമാണോ? അതായിരിക്കും അവര്‍ക്കുള്ള പ്രതിഫലവും ചെന്ന് ചേരാനുള്ള സ്ഥലവും

  16. لَّهُمۡ فِيهَا مَا يَشَآءُونَ خَٰلِدِينَۚ كَانَ عَلَىٰ رَبِّكَ وَعۡدٗا مَّسۡـُٔولٗا

    16

    For them therein is whatever they wish, [while] abiding eternally. It is ever upon your Lord a promise [worthy to be] requested

    തങ്ങള്‍ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നതെന്തും അവര്‍ക്കവിടെ ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കുന്നതാണ്‌. അവര്‍ നിത്യവാസികളായിരിക്കും. അത് നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് ബാധ്യത ഏറ്റിട്ടുള്ള വാഗ്ദാനമാകുന്നു. ചോദിക്കപ്പെടാവുന്നതുമാകുന്നു

  17. وَيَوۡمَ يَحۡشُرُهُمۡ وَمَا يَعۡبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ فَيَقُولُ ءَأَنتُمۡ أَضۡلَلۡتُمۡ عِبَادِي هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ أَمۡ هُمۡ ضَلُّواْ ٱلسَّبِيلَ

    17

    And [mention] the Day He will gather them and that which they worship besides Allah and will say, "Did you mislead these, My servants, or did they [themselves] stray from the way

    അവരെയും അല്ലാഹുവിന് പുറമെ അവര്‍ ആരാധിക്കുന്നവയെയും അവന്‍ ഒരുമിച്ചുകൂട്ടുന്ന ദിവസം (ശ്രദ്ധേയമാകുന്നു.) എന്നിട്ടവന്‍ (ആരാധ്യരോട്‌) പറയും: എന്‍റെ ഈ ദാസന്‍മാരെ നിങ്ങള്‍ വഴിപിഴപ്പിച്ചതാണോ അതല്ല അവര്‍ തന്നെ വഴിതെറ്റിപ്പോയതാണോ

  18. قَالُواْ سُبۡحَٰنَكَ مَا كَانَ يَنۢبَغِي لَنَآ أَن نَّتَّخِذَ مِن دُونِكَ مِنۡ أَوۡلِيَآءَ وَلَٰكِن مَّتَّعۡتَهُمۡ وَءَابَآءَهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ نَسُواْ ٱلذِّكۡرَ وَكَانُواْ قَوۡمَۢا بُورٗا

    18

    They will say, "Exalted are You! It was not for us to take besides You any allies. But You provided comforts for them and their fathers until they forgot the message and became a people ruined

    അവര്‍ (ആരാധ്യര്‍) പറയും: നീ എത്ര പരിശുദ്ധന്‍! നിനക്ക് പുറമെ വല്ല രക്ഷാധികാരികളെയും സ്വീകരിക്കുക എന്നത് ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് യോജിച്ചതല്ല. പക്ഷെ, അവര്‍ക്കും അവരുടെ പിതാക്കള്‍ക്കും നീ സൌഖ്യം നല്‍കി. അങ്ങനെ അവര്‍ ഉല്‍ബോധനം മറന്നുകളയുകയും, നശിച്ച ഒരു ജനതയായിത്തീരുകയും ചെയ്തു

  19. فَقَدۡ كَذَّبُوكُم بِمَا تَقُولُونَ فَمَا تَسۡتَطِيعُونَ صَرۡفٗا وَلَا نَصۡرٗاۚ وَمَن يَظۡلِم مِّنكُمۡ نُذِقۡهُ عَذَابٗا كَبِيرٗا

    19

    So they will deny you, [disbelievers], in what you say, and you cannot avert [punishment] or [find] help. And whoever commits injustice among you - We will make him taste a great punishment

    (അപ്പോള്‍ ബഹുദൈവാരാധകരോട് അല്ലാഹു പറയും:) നിങ്ങള്‍ പറയുന്നതില്‍ അവര്‍ നിങ്ങളെ നിഷേധിച്ചു തള്ളിക്കഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു. ഇനി (ശിക്ഷ) തിരിച്ചുവിടാനോ വല്ല സഹായവും നേടാനോ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് സാധിക്കുന്നതല്ല. അതിനാല്‍ (മനുഷ്യരേ,) നിങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്ന് അക്രമം ചെയ്തവരാരോ അവന്ന് നാം ഗുരുതരമായ ശിക്ഷ ആസ്വദിപ്പിക്കുന്നതാണ്‌

  20. وَمَآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا قَبۡلَكَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ إِلَّآ إِنَّهُمۡ لَيَأۡكُلُونَ ٱلطَّعَامَ وَيَمۡشُونَ فِي ٱلۡأَسۡوَاقِۗ وَجَعَلۡنَا بَعۡضَكُمۡ لِبَعۡضٖ فِتۡنَةً أَتَصۡبِرُونَۗ وَكَانَ رَبُّكَ بَصِيرٗا

    20

    And We did not send before you, [O Muhammad], any of the messengers except that they ate food and walked in the markets. And We have made some of you [people] as trial for others - will you have patience? And ever is your Lord, Seeing

    ഭക്ഷണം കഴിക്കുകയും അങ്ങാടിയിലൂടെ നടക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവരായിട്ടല്ലാതെ നിനക്ക് മുമ്പ് ദൂതന്‍മാരില്‍ ആരെയും നാം അയക്കുകയുണ്ടായിട്ടില്ല. നിങ്ങള്‍ ക്ഷമിക്കുമോ എന്ന് നോക്കാനായി നിങ്ങളില്‍ ചിലരെ ചിലര്‍ക്ക് നാം ഒരു പരീക്ഷണമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു. (നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് (എല്ലാം) കണ്ടറിയുന്നവനാകുന്നു

  21. ۞وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَرۡجُونَ لِقَآءَنَا لَوۡلَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيۡنَا ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ أَوۡ نَرَىٰ رَبَّنَاۗ لَقَدِ ٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ فِيٓ أَنفُسِهِمۡ وَعَتَوۡ عُتُوّٗا كَبِيرٗا

    21

    And those who do not expect the meeting with Us say, "Why were not angels sent down to us, or [why] do we [not] see our Lord?" They have certainly become arrogant within themselves and [become] insolent with great insolence

    നമ്മെ കണ്ടുമുട്ടാന്‍ ആശിക്കാത്തവര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു: നമ്മുടെ മേല്‍ മലക്കുകള്‍ ഇറക്കപ്പെടുകയോ, നമ്മുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിനെ നാം (നേരില്‍) കാണുകയോ ചെയ്യാത്തതെന്താണ്‌? തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവര്‍ സ്വയം ഗര്‍വ്വ് നടിക്കുകയും, വലിയ ധിക്കാരം കാണിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു

  22. يَوۡمَ يَرَوۡنَ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَ لَا بُشۡرَىٰ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ وَيَقُولُونَ حِجۡرٗا مَّحۡجُورٗا

    22

    The day they see the angels - no good tidings will there be that day for the criminals, and [the angels] will say, "Prevented and inaccessible

    മലക്കുകളെ അവര്‍ കാണുന്ന ദിവസം(ശ്രദ്ധേയമാകുന്നു.) അന്നേ ദിവസം കുറ്റവാളികള്‍ക്ക് യാതൊരു സന്തോഷവാര്‍ത്തയുമില്ല. കര്‍ക്കശമായ വിലക്ക് കല്‍പിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുകയാണ് എന്നായിരിക്കും അവര്‍ (മലക്കുകള്‍) പറയുക

  23. وَقَدِمۡنَآ إِلَىٰ مَا عَمِلُواْ مِنۡ عَمَلٖ فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُ هَبَآءٗ مَّنثُورًا

    23

    And We will regard what they have done of deeds and make them as dust dispersed

    അവര്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ച കര്‍മ്മങ്ങളുടെ നേരെ നാം തിരിയുകയും, നാമതിനെ ചിതറിയ ധൂളിപോലെ ആക്കിത്തീര്‍ക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും

  24. أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡجَنَّةِ يَوۡمَئِذٍ خَيۡرٞ مُّسۡتَقَرّٗا وَأَحۡسَنُ مَقِيلٗا

    24

    The companions of Paradise, that Day, are [in] a better settlement and better resting place

    അന്ന് സ്വര്‍ഗവാസികള്‍ ഉത്തമമായ വാസസ്ഥലവും ഏറ്റവും നല്ല വിശ്രമസ്ഥലവുമുള്ളവരായിരിക്കും

  25. وَيَوۡمَ تَشَقَّقُ ٱلسَّمَآءُ بِٱلۡغَمَٰمِ وَنُزِّلَ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ تَنزِيلًا

    25

    And [mention] the Day when the heaven will split open with [emerging] clouds, and the angels will be sent down in successive descent

    ആകാശം പൊട്ടിപ്പിളര്‍ന്ന് വെണ്‍മേഘപടലം പുറത്ത് വരുകയും, മലക്കുകള്‍ ശക്തിയായി ഇറക്കപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന ദിവസം

  26. ٱلۡمُلۡكُ يَوۡمَئِذٍ ٱلۡحَقُّ لِلرَّحۡمَٰنِۚ وَكَانَ يَوۡمًا عَلَى ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ عَسِيرٗا

    26

    True sovereignty, that Day, is for the Most Merciful. And it will be upon the disbelievers a difficult Day

    അന്ന് യഥാര്‍ത്ഥമായ ആധിപത്യം പരമകാരുണികന്നായിരിക്കും. സത്യനിഷേധികള്‍ക്ക് വിഷമകരമായ ഒരു ദിവസമായിരിക്കും അത്‌

  27. وَيَوۡمَ يَعَضُّ ٱلظَّالِمُ عَلَىٰ يَدَيۡهِ يَقُولُ يَٰلَيۡتَنِي ٱتَّخَذۡتُ مَعَ ٱلرَّسُولِ سَبِيلٗا

    27

    And the Day the wrongdoer will bite on his hands [in regret] he will say, "Oh, I wish I had taken with the Messenger a way

    അക്രമം ചെയ്തവന്‍ തന്‍റെ കൈകള്‍ കടിക്കുന്ന ദിവസം. അവന്‍ പറയും റസൂലിന്‍റെ കൂടെ ഞാനൊരു മാര്‍ഗം സ്വീകരിച്ചിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍ എത്ര നന്നായിരുന്നേനെ

  28. يَٰوَيۡلَتَىٰ لَيۡتَنِي لَمۡ أَتَّخِذۡ فُلَانًا خَلِيلٗا

    28

    Oh, woe to me! I wish I had not taken that one as a friend

    എന്‍റെ കഷ്ടമേ! ഇന്ന ആളെ ഞാന്‍ സുഹൃത്തായി സ്വീകരിച്ചിട്ടില്ലായിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍ എത്ര നന്നായിരുന്നേനെ

  29. لَّقَدۡ أَضَلَّنِي عَنِ ٱلذِّكۡرِ بَعۡدَ إِذۡ جَآءَنِيۗ وَكَانَ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ لِلۡإِنسَٰنِ خَذُولٗا

    29

    He led me away from the remembrance after it had come to me. And ever is Satan, to man, a deserter

    എനിക്ക് ബോധനം വന്നുകിട്ടിയതിന് ശേഷം അതില്‍ നിന്നവന്‍ എന്നെ തെറ്റിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞുവല്ലോ. പിശാച് മനുഷ്യനെ കൈവിട്ടുകളയുന്നവനാകുന്നു

  30. وَقَالَ ٱلرَّسُولُ يَٰرَبِّ إِنَّ قَوۡمِي ٱتَّخَذُواْ هَٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ مَهۡجُورٗا

    30

    And the Messenger has said, "O my Lord, indeed my people have taken this Qur'an as [a thing] abandoned

    (അന്ന്‌) റസൂല്‍ പറയും: എന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവേ, തീര്‍ച്ചയായും എന്‍റെ ജനത ഈ ഖുര്‍ആനിനെ അഗണ്യമാക്കിതള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു

  31. وَكَذَٰلِكَ جَعَلۡنَا لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ عَدُوّٗا مِّنَ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَۗ وَكَفَىٰ بِرَبِّكَ هَادِيٗا وَنَصِيرٗا

    31

    And thus have We made for every prophet an enemy from among the criminals. But sufficient is your Lord as a guide and a helper

    അപ്രകാരം തന്നെ ഓരോ പ്രവാചകന്നും കുറ്റവാളികളില്‍ പെട്ട ചില ശത്രുക്കളെ നാം ഏര്‍പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു. മാര്‍ഗദര്‍ശകനായും സഹായിയായും നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് തന്നെ മതി

  32. وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَوۡلَا نُزِّلَ عَلَيۡهِ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانُ جُمۡلَةٗ وَٰحِدَةٗۚ كَذَٰلِكَ لِنُثَبِّتَ بِهِۦ فُؤَادَكَۖ وَرَتَّلۡنَٰهُ تَرۡتِيلٗا

    32

    And those who disbelieve say, "Why was the Qur'an not revealed to him all at once?" Thus [it is] that We may strengthen thereby your heart. And We have spaced it distinctly

    സത്യനിഷേധികള്‍ പറഞ്ഞു; ഇദ്ദേഹത്തിന് ഖുര്‍ആന്‍ ഒറ്റതവണയായി ഇറക്കപ്പെടാത്തതെന്താണെന്ന്‌. അത് അപ്രകാരം (ഘട്ടങ്ങളിലായി അവതരിപ്പിക്കുക) തന്നെയാണ് വേണ്ടത്‌. അത് കൊണ്ട് നിന്‍റെ ഹൃദയത്തെ ഉറപ്പിച്ച് നിര്‍ത്തുവാന്‍ വേണ്ടിയാകുന്നു. ശരിയായ സാവകാശത്തോടെ നാമത് പാരായണം ചെയ്ത് കേള്‍പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു

  33. وَلَا يَأۡتُونَكَ بِمَثَلٍ إِلَّا جِئۡنَٰكَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَأَحۡسَنَ تَفۡسِيرًا

    33

    And they do not come to you with an argument except that We bring you the truth and the best explanation

    അവര്‍ ഏതൊരു പ്രശ്നവും കൊണ്ട് നിന്‍റെ അടുത്ത് വരികയാണെങ്കിലും അതിന്‍റെ യാഥാര്‍ത്ഥ്യവും ഏറ്റവും നല്ല വിവരണവും നിനക്ക് നാം കൊണ്ട് വന്ന് തരാതിരിക്കില്ല

  34. ٱلَّذِينَ يُحۡشَرُونَ عَلَىٰ وُجُوهِهِمۡ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ شَرّٞ مَّكَانٗا وَأَضَلُّ سَبِيلٗا

    34

    The ones who are gathered on their faces to Hell - those are the worst in position and farthest astray in [their] way

    മുഖങ്ങള്‍ നിലത്ത് കുത്തിയ നിലയില്‍ നരകത്തിലേക്ക് തെളിച്ചു കൂട്ടപ്പെടുന്നവരാരോ അവരാണ് ഏറ്റവും മോശമായ സ്ഥാനത്ത് നില്‍ക്കുന്നവരും, ഏറ്റവും വഴിപിഴച്ചു പോയവരും

  35. وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَيۡنَا مُوسَى ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ وَجَعَلۡنَا مَعَهُۥٓ أَخَاهُ هَٰرُونَ وَزِيرٗا

    35

    And We had certainly given Moses the Scripture and appointed with him his brother Aaron as an assistant

    മൂസായ്ക്ക് നാം വേദഗ്രന്ഥം നല്‍കുകയും, അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്‍റെ സഹോദരന്‍ ഹാറൂനെ അദ്ദേഹത്തോടൊപ്പം നാം സഹായിയായി നിശ്ചയിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു

  36. فَقُلۡنَا ٱذۡهَبَآ إِلَى ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا فَدَمَّرۡنَٰهُمۡ تَدۡمِيرٗا

    36

    And We said, "Go both of you to the people who have denied Our signs." Then We destroyed them with [complete] destruction

    എന്നിട്ട് നാം പറഞ്ഞു: നമ്മുടെ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങളെ നിഷേധിച്ചു കളഞ്ഞ ജനതയുടെ അടുത്തേക്ക് നിങ്ങള്‍ പോകുക തുടര്‍ന്ന് നാം ആ ജനതയെ പാടെ തകര്‍ത്തു കളഞ്ഞു

  37. وَقَوۡمَ نُوحٖ لَّمَّا كَذَّبُواْ ٱلرُّسُلَ أَغۡرَقۡنَٰهُمۡ وَجَعَلۡنَٰهُمۡ لِلنَّاسِ ءَايَةٗۖ وَأَعۡتَدۡنَا لِلظَّـٰلِمِينَ عَذَابًا أَلِيمٗا

    37

    And the people of Noah - when they denied the messengers, We drowned them, and We made them for mankind a sign. And We have prepared for the wrongdoers a painful punishment

    നൂഹിന്‍റെ ജനതയേയും (നാം നശിപ്പിച്ചു.) അവര്‍ ദൂതന്‍മാരെ നിഷേധിച്ചു കളഞ്ഞപ്പോള്‍ നാം അവരെ മുക്കി നശിപ്പിച്ചു. അവരെ നാം മനുഷ്യര്‍ക്ക് ഒരു ദൃഷ്ടാന്തമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. അക്രമികള്‍ക്ക് (പരലോകത്ത്‌) വേദനയേറിയ ശിക്ഷ നാം ഒരുക്കിവെക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു

  38. وَعَادٗا وَثَمُودَاْ وَأَصۡحَٰبَ ٱلرَّسِّ وَقُرُونَۢا بَيۡنَ ذَٰلِكَ كَثِيرٗا

    38

    And [We destroyed] 'Aad and Thamud and the companions of the well and many generations between them

    ആദ് സമുദായത്തേയും, ഥമൂദ് സമുദായത്തെയും, റസ്സുകാരെയും അതിന്നിടയിലായി അനേകം തലമുറകളേയും (നാം നശിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്‌)

  39. وَكُلّٗا ضَرَبۡنَا لَهُ ٱلۡأَمۡثَٰلَۖ وَكُلّٗا تَبَّرۡنَا تَتۡبِيرٗا

    39

    And for each We presented examples [as warnings], and each We destroyed with [total] destruction

    എല്ലാവര്‍ക്കും നാം ഉദാഹരണങ്ങള്‍ വിവരിച്ചുകൊടുത്തു. (അത് തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞപ്പോള്‍) എല്ലാവരെയും നാം നിശ്ശേഷം നശിപ്പിച്ചു കളയുകയും ചെയ്തു

  40. وَلَقَدۡ أَتَوۡاْ عَلَى ٱلۡقَرۡيَةِ ٱلَّتِيٓ أُمۡطِرَتۡ مَطَرَ ٱلسَّوۡءِۚ أَفَلَمۡ يَكُونُواْ يَرَوۡنَهَاۚ بَلۡ كَانُواْ لَا يَرۡجُونَ نُشُورٗا

    40

    And they have already come upon the town which was showered with a rain of evil. So have they not seen it? But they are not expecting resurrection

    ആ ചീത്ത മഴ വര്‍ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ട നാട്ടിലൂടെ ഇവര്‍ കടന്നുവന്നിട്ടുണ്ടല്ലോ. അപ്പോള്‍ ഇവരത് കണ്ടിരുന്നില്ലേ? അല്ല, ഇവര്‍ ഉയിര്‍ത്തെഴുന്നേല്‍പ് പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കാത്തവരാകുന്നു

  41. وَإِذَا رَأَوۡكَ إِن يَتَّخِذُونَكَ إِلَّا هُزُوًا أَهَٰذَا ٱلَّذِي بَعَثَ ٱللَّهُ رَسُولًا

    41

    And when they see you, [O Muhammad], they take you not except in ridicule, [saying], "Is this the one whom Allah has sent as a messenger

    നിന്നെ അവര്‍ കാണുമ്പോള്‍ നിന്നെ ഒരു പരിഹാസപാത്രമാക്കിക്കൊണ്ട്‌, അല്ലാഹു ദൂതനായി നിയോഗിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത് ഇവനെയാണോ? എന്ന് ചോദിക്കുക മാത്രമായിരിക്കും അവര്‍ ചെയ്യുന്നത്‌

  42. إِن كَادَ لَيُضِلُّنَا عَنۡ ءَالِهَتِنَا لَوۡلَآ أَن صَبَرۡنَا عَلَيۡهَاۚ وَسَوۡفَ يَعۡلَمُونَ حِينَ يَرَوۡنَ ٱلۡعَذَابَ مَنۡ أَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا

    42

    He almost would have misled us from our gods had we not been steadfast in [worship of] them." But they are going to know, when they see the punishment, who is farthest astray in [his] way

    നമ്മുടെ ദൈവങ്ങളുടെ കാര്യത്തില്‍ നാം ക്ഷമയോടെ ഉറച്ചുനിന്നിട്ടില്ലെങ്കില്‍ അവയില്‍ നിന്ന് ഇവന്‍ നമ്മെ തെറ്റിച്ചുകളയാനിടയാകുമായിരുന്നു (എന്നും അവര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു.) ശിക്ഷ നേരില്‍ കാണുന്ന സമയത്ത് അവര്‍ക്കറിയുമാറാകും; ആരാണ് ഏറ്റവും വഴിപിഴച്ചവന്‍ എന്ന്‌

  43. أَرَءَيۡتَ مَنِ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَٰهَهُۥ هَوَىٰهُ أَفَأَنتَ تَكُونُ عَلَيۡهِ وَكِيلًا

    43

    Have you seen the one who takes as his god his own desire? Then would you be responsible for him

    തന്‍റെ ദൈവത്തെ തന്‍റെ തന്നിഷ്ടമാക്കി മാറ്റിയവനെ നീ കണ്ടുവോ? എന്നിരിക്കെ നീ അവന്‍റെ കാര്യത്തിന് ചുമതലപ്പെട്ടവനാകുമോ

  44. أَمۡ تَحۡسَبُ أَنَّ أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ يَسۡمَعُونَ أَوۡ يَعۡقِلُونَۚ إِنۡ هُمۡ إِلَّا كَٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمِ بَلۡ هُمۡ أَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا

    44

    Or do you think that most of them hear or reason? They are not except like livestock. Rather, they are [even] more astray in [their] way

    അതല്ല, അവരില്‍ അധികപേരും കേള്‍ക്കുകയോ ചിന്തിക്കുകയോ ചെയ്യുമെന്ന് നീ വിചാരിക്കുന്നുണ്ടോ? അവര്‍ കന്നുകാലികളെപ്പോലെ മാത്രമാകുന്നു. അല്ല, അവരാകുന്നു കൂടുതല്‍ വഴിപിഴച്ചവര്‍

  45. أَلَمۡ تَرَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ كَيۡفَ مَدَّ ٱلظِّلَّ وَلَوۡ شَآءَ لَجَعَلَهُۥ سَاكِنٗا ثُمَّ جَعَلۡنَا ٱلشَّمۡسَ عَلَيۡهِ دَلِيلٗا

    45

    Have you not considered your Lord - how He extends the shadow, and if He willed, He could have made it stationary? Then We made the sun for it an indication

    നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിനെ സംബന്ധിച്ച് നീ ചിന്തിച്ച് നോക്കിയിട്ടില്ലേ? എങ്ങനെയാണ് അവന്‍ നിഴലിനെ നീട്ടിയത് എന്ന്‌. അവന്‍ ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍ അതിനെ അവന്‍ നിശ്ചലമാക്കുമായിരുന്നു. എന്നിട്ട് നാം സൂര്യനെ അതിന്ന് തെളിവാക്കി

  46. ثُمَّ قَبَضۡنَٰهُ إِلَيۡنَا قَبۡضٗا يَسِيرٗا

    46

    Then We hold it in hand for a brief grasp

    പിന്നീട് നമ്മുടെ അടുത്തേക്ക് നാം അതിനെ അല്‍പാല്‍പമായി പിടിച്ചെടുത്തു

  47. وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلَّيۡلَ لِبَاسٗا وَٱلنَّوۡمَ سُبَاتٗا وَجَعَلَ ٱلنَّهَارَ نُشُورٗا

    47

    And it is He who has made the night for you as clothing and sleep [a means for] rest and has made the day a resurrection

    അവനത്രെ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് വേണ്ടി രാത്രിയെ ഒരു വസ്ത്രവും, ഉറക്കത്തെ ഒരു വിശ്രമവും ആക്കിത്തന്നവന്‍. പകലിനെ അവന്‍ എഴുന്നേല്‍പ് സമയമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു

  48. وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَرۡسَلَ ٱلرِّيَٰحَ بُشۡرَۢا بَيۡنَ يَدَيۡ رَحۡمَتِهِۦۚ وَأَنزَلۡنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءٗ طَهُورٗا

    48

    And it is He who sends the winds as good tidings before His mercy, and We send down from the sky pure water

    തന്‍റെ കാരുണ്യത്തിന്‍റെ മുമ്പില്‍ സന്തോഷസൂചകമായി കാറ്റുകളെ അയച്ചതും അവനത്രെ. ആകാശത്ത് നിന്ന് ശുദ്ധമായ ജലം നാം ഇറക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു

  49. لِّنُحۡـِۧيَ بِهِۦ بَلۡدَةٗ مَّيۡتٗا وَنُسۡقِيَهُۥ مِمَّا خَلَقۡنَآ أَنۡعَٰمٗا وَأَنَاسِيَّ كَثِيرٗا

    49

    That We may bring to life thereby a dead land and give it as drink to those We created of numerous livestock and men

    നിര്‍ജീവമായ നാടിന് അത് മുഖേന നാം ജീവന്‍ നല്‍കുവാനും, നാം സൃഷ്ടിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള ധാരാളം കന്നുകാലികള്‍ക്കും മനുഷ്യര്‍ക്കും അത് കുടിപ്പിക്കുവാനും വേണ്ടി

  50. وَلَقَدۡ صَرَّفۡنَٰهُ بَيۡنَهُمۡ لِيَذَّكَّرُواْ فَأَبَىٰٓ أَكۡثَرُ ٱلنَّاسِ إِلَّا كُفُورٗا

    50

    And We have certainly distributed it among them that they might be reminded, but most of the people refuse except disbelief

    അവര്‍ ആലോചിച്ചു മനസ്സിലാക്കേണ്ടതിനായി അത് (മഴവെള്ളം) അവര്‍ക്കിടയില്‍ നാം വിതരണം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു. എന്നാല്‍ മനുഷ്യരില്‍ അധികപേര്‍ക്കും നന്ദികേട് കാണിക്കുവാനല്ലാതെ മനസ്സു വന്നില്ല

  51. وَلَوۡ شِئۡنَا لَبَعَثۡنَا فِي كُلِّ قَرۡيَةٖ نَّذِيرٗا

    51

    And if We had willed, We could have sent into every city a warner

    നാം ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍ എല്ലാ നാട്ടിലും ഓരോ താക്കീതുകാരനെ നാം നിയോഗിക്കുമായിരുന്നു

  52. فَلَا تُطِعِ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ وَجَٰهِدۡهُم بِهِۦ جِهَادٗا كَبِيرٗا

    52

    So do not obey the disbelievers, and strive against them with the Qur'an a great striving

    അതിനാല്‍ സത്യനിഷേധികളെ നീ അനുസരിച്ചു പോകരുത്‌. ഇത് (ഖുര്‍ആന്‍) കൊണ്ട് നീ അവരോട് വലിയൊരു സമരം നടത്തിക്കൊള്ളുക

  53. ۞وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِي مَرَجَ ٱلۡبَحۡرَيۡنِ هَٰذَا عَذۡبٞ فُرَاتٞ وَهَٰذَا مِلۡحٌ أُجَاجٞ وَجَعَلَ بَيۡنَهُمَا بَرۡزَخٗا وَحِجۡرٗا مَّحۡجُورٗا

    53

    And it is He who has released [simultaneously] the two seas, one fresh and sweet and one salty and bitter, and He placed between them a barrier and prohibiting partition

    രണ്ട് ജലാശയങ്ങളെ സ്വതന്ത്രമായി ഒഴുകാന്‍ വിട്ടവനാകുന്നു അവന്‍. ഒന്ന് സ്വച്ഛമായ ശുദ്ധജലം, മറ്റൊന്ന് അരോചകമായി തോന്നുന്ന ഉപ്പുവെള്ളവും. അവ രണ്ടിനുമിടയില്‍ ഒരു മറയും ശക്തിയായ ഒരു തടസ്സവും അവന്‍ ഏര്‍പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു

  54. وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ مِنَ ٱلۡمَآءِ بَشَرٗا فَجَعَلَهُۥ نَسَبٗا وَصِهۡرٗاۗ وَكَانَ رَبُّكَ قَدِيرٗا

    54

    And it is He who has created from water a human being and made him [a relative by] lineage and marriage. And ever is your Lord competent [concerning creation]

    അവന്‍ തന്നെയാണ് വെള്ളത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് മനുഷ്യനെ സൃഷ്ടിക്കുകയും, അവനെ രക്തബന്ധമുള്ളവനും വിവാഹബന്ധമുള്ളവനും ആക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നത്‌. നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് കഴിവുള്ളവനാകുന്നു

  55. وَيَعۡبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا يَنفَعُهُمۡ وَلَا يَضُرُّهُمۡۗ وَكَانَ ٱلۡكَافِرُ عَلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ ظَهِيرٗا

    55

    But they worship rather than Allah that which does not benefit them or harm them, and the disbeliever is ever, against his Lord, an assistant [to Satan]

    അല്ലാഹുവിന് പുറമെ അവര്‍ക്ക് ഉപകാരമുണ്ടാക്കുകയോ ഉപദ്രവമുണ്ടാക്കുകയോ ചെയ്യാത്തതിനെ അവര്‍ ആരാധിക്കുന്നു. സത്യനിഷേധി തന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിനെതിരെ (ദുശ്ശക്തികള്‍ക്ക്‌) പിന്തുണ നല്‍കുന്നവനായിരിക്കുന്നു

  56. وَمَآ أَرۡسَلۡنَٰكَ إِلَّا مُبَشِّرٗا وَنَذِيرٗا

    56

    And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a bringer of good tidings and a warner

    (നബിയേ,) ഒരു സന്തോഷവാര്‍ത്തക്കാരനായിക്കൊണ്ടും, താക്കീതുകാരനായിക്കൊണ്ടുമല്ലാതെ നിന്നെ നാം നിയോഗിച്ചിട്ടില്ല

  57. قُلۡ مَآ أَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ مِنۡ أَجۡرٍ إِلَّا مَن شَآءَ أَن يَتَّخِذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ سَبِيلٗا

    57

    Say, "I do not ask of you for it any payment - only that whoever wills might take to his Lord a way

    പറയുക: ഞാന്‍ ഇതിന്‍റെ പേരില്‍ നിങ്ങളോട് യാതൊരു പ്രതിഫലവും ചോദിക്കുന്നില്ല. വല്ലവനും നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിങ്കലേക്കുള്ള മാര്‍ഗം സ്വീകരിക്കണം എന്ന് ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നുവെങ്കില്‍ (അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യാം എന്ന്‌) മാത്രം

  58. وَتَوَكَّلۡ عَلَى ٱلۡحَيِّ ٱلَّذِي لَا يَمُوتُ وَسَبِّحۡ بِحَمۡدِهِۦۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِهِۦ بِذُنُوبِ عِبَادِهِۦ خَبِيرًا

    58

    And rely upon the Ever-Living who does not die, and exalt [Allah] with His praise. And sufficient is He to be, with the sins of His servants, Acquainted

    ഒരിക്കലും മരിക്കാതെ ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവനെ നീ ഭരമേല്‍പിക്കുക. അവനെ സ്തുതിക്കുന്നതോടൊപ്പം പ്രകീര്‍ത്തിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക. തന്‍റെ ദാസന്‍മാരുടെ പാപങ്ങളെപ്പറ്റി സൂക്ഷ്മജ്ഞാനമുള്ളവനായിട്ട് അവന്‍ തന്നെ മതി

  59. ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٖ ثُمَّ ٱسۡتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلۡعَرۡشِۖ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ فَسۡـَٔلۡ بِهِۦ خَبِيرٗا

    59

    He who created the heavens and the earth and what is between them in six days and then established Himself above the Throne - the Most Merciful, so ask about Him one well informed

    ആകാശങ്ങളും ഭൂമിയും അവയ്ക്കിടയിലുള്ളതും ആറുദിവസങ്ങളില്‍ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചവനത്രെ അവന്‍. എന്നിട്ട് അവന്‍ സിംഹാസനസ്ഥനായിരിക്കുന്നു. പരമകാരുണികനത്രെ അവന്‍. ആകയാല്‍ ഇതിനെപ്പറ്റി സൂക്ഷ്മജ്ഞാനമുള്ളവനോട് തന്നെ ചോദിക്കുക

  60. وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱسۡجُدُواْۤ لِلرَّحۡمَٰنِ قَالُواْ وَمَا ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ أَنَسۡجُدُ لِمَا تَأۡمُرُنَا وَزَادَهُمۡ نُفُورٗا۩

    60

    And when it is said to them, "Prostrate to the Most Merciful," they say, "And what is the Most Merciful? Should we prostrate to that which you order us?" And it increases them in aversion

    പരമകാരുണികന് നിങ്ങള്‍ പ്രണാമം ചെയ്യുക എന്ന് അവരോട് പറയപ്പെട്ടാല്‍ അവര്‍ പറയും: എന്താണീ പരമകാരുണികന്‍? നീ ഞങ്ങളോട് കല്‍പിക്കുന്നതിന് ഞങ്ങള്‍ പ്രണാമം ചെയ്യുകയോ? അങ്ങനെ അത് അവരുടെ അകല്‍ച്ച വര്‍ദ്ധിപ്പിക്കുകയാണ് ചെയ്തത്‌

  61. تَبَارَكَ ٱلَّذِي جَعَلَ فِي ٱلسَّمَآءِ بُرُوجٗا وَجَعَلَ فِيهَا سِرَٰجٗا وَقَمَرٗا مُّنِيرٗا

    61

    Blessed is He who has placed in the sky great stars and placed therein a [burning] lamp and luminous moon

    ആകാശത്ത് നക്ഷത്രമണ്ഡലങ്ങള്‍ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയവന്‍ അനുഗ്രഹപൂര്‍ണ്ണനാകുന്നു. അവിടെ അവന്‍ ഒരു വിളക്കും (സൂര്യന്‍) വെളിച്ചം നല്‍കുന്ന ചന്ദ്രനും ഉണ്ടാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു

  62. وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِي جَعَلَ ٱلَّيۡلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَ خِلۡفَةٗ لِّمَنۡ أَرَادَ أَن يَذَّكَّرَ أَوۡ أَرَادَ شُكُورٗا

    62

    And it is He who has made the night and the day in succession for whoever desires to remember or desires gratitude

    അവന്‍ തന്നെയാണ് രാപകലുകളെ മാറി മാറി വരുന്നതാക്കിയവന്‍. ആലോചിച്ച് മനസ്സിലാക്കാന്‍ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുകയോ, നന്ദികാണിക്കാന്‍ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുകയോ ചെയ്യുന്നവര്‍ക്ക് (ദൃഷ്ടാന്തമായിരിക്കുവാനാണത്‌)

  63. وَعِبَادُ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلَّذِينَ يَمۡشُونَ عَلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ هَوۡنٗا وَإِذَا خَاطَبَهُمُ ٱلۡجَٰهِلُونَ قَالُواْ سَلَٰمٗا

    63

    And the servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth easily, and when the ignorant address them [harshly], they say [words of] peace

    പരമകാരുണികന്‍റെ ദാസന്‍മാര്‍ ഭൂമിയില്‍ കൂടി വിനയത്തോടെ നടക്കുന്നവരും, അവിവേകികള്‍ തങ്ങളോട് സംസാരിച്ചാല്‍ സമാധാനപരമായി മറുപടി നല്‍കുന്നവരുമാകുന്നു

  64. وَٱلَّذِينَ يَبِيتُونَ لِرَبِّهِمۡ سُجَّدٗا وَقِيَٰمٗا

    64

    And those who spend [part of] the night to their Lord prostrating and standing [in prayer]

    തങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിന് പ്രണാമം ചെയ്യുന്നവരായിക്കൊണ്ടും, നിന്ന് നമസ്കരിക്കുന്നവരായിക്കൊണ്ടും രാത്രി കഴിച്ചുകൂട്ടുന്നവരുമാകുന്നു അവര്‍

  65. وَٱلَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا ٱصۡرِفۡ عَنَّا عَذَابَ جَهَنَّمَۖ إِنَّ عَذَابَهَا كَانَ غَرَامًا

    65

    And those who say, "Our Lord, avert from us the punishment of Hell. Indeed, its punishment is ever adhering

    ഇപ്രകാരം പറയുന്നുവരുമാകുന്നു അവര്‍ ഞങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവേ, ഞങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്ന് നരകശിക്ഷ നീ ഒഴിവാക്കിത്തരേണമേ, തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അതിലെ ശിക്ഷ വിട്ടൊഴിയാത്ത വിപത്താകുന്നു

  66. إِنَّهَا سَآءَتۡ مُسۡتَقَرّٗا وَمُقَامٗا

    66

    Indeed, it is evil as a settlement and residence

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അത് (നരകം) ചീത്തയായ ഒരു താവളവും പാര്‍പ്പിടവും തന്നെയാകുന്നു

  67. وَٱلَّذِينَ إِذَآ أَنفَقُواْ لَمۡ يُسۡرِفُواْ وَلَمۡ يَقۡتُرُواْ وَكَانَ بَيۡنَ ذَٰلِكَ قَوَامٗا

    67

    And [they are] those who, when they spend, do so not excessively or sparingly but are ever, between that, [justly] moderate

    ചെലവുചെയ്യുകയാണെങ്കില്‍ അമിതവ്യയം നടത്തുകയോ, പിശുക്കിപ്പിടിക്കുകയോ ചെയ്യാതെ അതിനിടക്കുള്ള മിതമായ മാര്‍ഗം സ്വീകരിക്കുന്നവരുമാകുന്നു അവര്‍

  68. وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَدۡعُونَ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ وَلَا يَقۡتُلُونَ ٱلنَّفۡسَ ٱلَّتِي حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ إِلَّا بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَلَا يَزۡنُونَۚ وَمَن يَفۡعَلۡ ذَٰلِكَ يَلۡقَ أَثَامٗا

    68

    And those who do not invoke with Allah another deity or kill the soul which Allah has forbidden [to be killed], except by right, and do not commit unlawful sexual intercourse. And whoever should do that will meet a penalty

    അല്ലാഹുവോടൊപ്പം വേറെയൊരു ദൈവത്തെയും വിളിച്ചു പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥിക്കാത്തവരും, അല്ലാഹു പവിത്രമാക്കി വെച്ചിട്ടുള്ള ജീവനെ ന്യായമായ കാരണത്താലല്ലാതെ ഹനിച്ചു കളയാത്തവരും, വ്യഭിചരിക്കാത്തവരുമാകുന്നു അവര്‍. ആ കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ വല്ലവനും ചെയ്യുന്ന പക്ഷം അവന്‍ പാപഫലം കണ്ടെത്തുക തന്നെ ചെയ്യും

  69. يُضَٰعَفۡ لَهُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ وَيَخۡلُدۡ فِيهِۦ مُهَانًا

    69

    Multiplied for him is the punishment on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein humiliated

    ഉയിര്‍ത്തെഴുന്നേല്‍പിന്‍റെ നാളില്‍ അവന്നു ശിക്ഷ ഇരട്ടിയാക്കപ്പെടുകയും, നിന്ദ്യനായിക്കൊണ്ട് അവന്‍ അതില്‍ എന്നെന്നും കഴിച്ചുകൂട്ടുകയും ചെയ്യും

  70. إِلَّا مَن تَابَ وَءَامَنَ وَعَمِلَ عَمَلٗا صَٰلِحٗا فَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ يُبَدِّلُ ٱللَّهُ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمۡ حَسَنَٰتٖۗ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ غَفُورٗا رَّحِيمٗا

    70

    Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous work. For them Allah will replace their evil deeds with good. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful

    പശ്ചാത്തപിക്കുകയും, വിശ്വസിക്കുകയും സല്‍കര്‍മ്മം പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തവരൊഴികെ. അത്തരക്കാര്‍ക്ക് അല്ലാഹു തങ്ങളുടെ തിന്‍മകള്‍ക്ക് പകരം നന്‍മകള്‍ മാറ്റികൊടുക്കുന്നതാണ്‌. അല്ലാഹു ഏറെ പൊറുക്കുന്നവനും കരുണാനിധിയുമായിരിക്കുന്നു

  71. وَمَن تَابَ وَعَمِلَ صَٰلِحٗا فَإِنَّهُۥ يَتُوبُ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ مَتَابٗا

    71

    And he who repents and does righteousness does indeed turn to Allah with [accepted] repentance

    വല്ലവനും പശ്ചാത്തപിക്കുകയും, സല്‍കര്‍മ്മം പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന പക്ഷം അല്ലാഹുവിങ്കലേക്ക് ശരിയായ നിലയില്‍ മടങ്ങുകയാണ് അവന്‍ ചെയ്യുന്നത്‌

  72. وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَشۡهَدُونَ ٱلزُّورَ وَإِذَا مَرُّواْ بِٱللَّغۡوِ مَرُّواْ كِرَامٗا

    72

    And [they are] those who do not testify to falsehood, and when they pass near ill speech, they pass by with dignity

    വ്യാജത്തിന് സാക്ഷി നില്‍ക്കാത്തവരും, അനാവശ്യവൃത്തികള്‍ നടക്കുന്നേടത്തു കൂടി പോകുകയാണെങ്കില്‍ മാന്യന്‍മാരായിക്കൊണ്ട് കടന്നുപോകുന്നവരുമാകുന്നു അവര്‍

  73. وَٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِّرُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّهِمۡ لَمۡ يَخِرُّواْ عَلَيۡهَا صُمّٗا وَعُمۡيَانٗا

    73

    And those who, when reminded of the verses of their Lord, do not fall upon them deaf and blind

    തങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്‍റെ വചനങ്ങള്‍ മുഖേന ഉല്‍ബോധനം നല്‍കപ്പെട്ടാല്‍ ബധിരന്‍മാരും അന്ധന്‍മാരുമായിക്കൊണ്ട് അതിന്‍മേല്‍ ചാടിവീഴാത്തവരുമാകുന്നു അവര്‍

  74. وَٱلَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا هَبۡ لَنَا مِنۡ أَزۡوَٰجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّـٰتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعۡيُنٖ وَٱجۡعَلۡنَا لِلۡمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا

    74

    And those who say, "Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous

    ഞങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവേ, ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഭാര്യമാരില്‍ നിന്നും സന്തതികളില്‍ നിന്നും ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് നീ കണ്‍കുളിര്‍മ നല്‍കുകയും ധര്‍മ്മനിഷ്ഠ പാലിക്കുന്നവര്‍ക്ക് ഞങ്ങളെ നീ മാതൃകയാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യേണമേ എന്ന് പറയുന്നവരുമാകുന്നു അവര്‍

  75. أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ يُجۡزَوۡنَ ٱلۡغُرۡفَةَ بِمَا صَبَرُواْ وَيُلَقَّوۡنَ فِيهَا تَحِيَّةٗ وَسَلَٰمًا

    75

    Those will be awarded the Chamber for what they patiently endured, and they will be received therein with greetings and [words of] peace

    അത്തരക്കാര്‍ക്ക് തങ്ങള്‍ ക്ഷമിച്ചതിന്‍റെ പേരില്‍ (സ്വര്‍ഗത്തില്‍) ഉന്നതമായ സ്ഥാനം പ്രതിഫലമായി നല്‍കപ്പെടുന്നതാണ്‌. അഭിവാദ്യത്തോടും സമാധാനാശംസയോടും കൂടി അവര്‍ അവിടെ സ്വീകരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നതുമാണ്‌

  76. خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَاۚ حَسُنَتۡ مُسۡتَقَرّٗا وَمُقَامٗا

    76

    Abiding eternally therein. Good is the settlement and residence

    അവര്‍ അതില്‍ നിത്യവാസികളായിരിക്കും. എത്ര നല്ല താവളവും പാര്‍പ്പിടവും

  77. قُلۡ مَا يَعۡبَؤُاْ بِكُمۡ رَبِّي لَوۡلَا دُعَآؤُكُمۡۖ فَقَدۡ كَذَّبۡتُمۡ فَسَوۡفَ يَكُونُ لِزَامَۢا

    77

    Say, "What would my Lord care for you if not for your supplication?" For you [disbelievers] have denied, so your denial is going to be adherent

    (നബിയേ,) പറയുക: നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥനയില്ലെങ്കില്‍ എന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് എന്ത് പരിഗണന നല്‍കാനാണ്? എന്നാല്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ നിഷേധിച്ച് തള്ളിയിരിക്കുകയാണ്‌. അതിനാല്‍ അതിനുള്ള ശിക്ഷ അനിവാര്യമായിരിക്കും
