الحجر

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

1. الٓرۚ تِلۡكَ ءَايَٰتُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ وَقُرۡءَانٖ مُّبِينٖ

   ✦1

   Alif, Lam, Ra. These are the verses of the Book and a clear Qur'an

   അലിഫ് ലാംറാ-വേദഗ്രന്ഥത്തിലെ അഥവാ (കാര്യങ്ങള്‍) സ്പഷ്ടമാക്കുന്ന ഖുര്‍ആനിലെ വചനങ്ങളാകുന്നു അവ

2. رُّبَمَا يَوَدُّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَوۡ كَانُواْ مُسۡلِمِينَ

   ✦2

   Perhaps those who disbelieve will wish that they had been Muslims

   തങ്ങള്‍ മുസ്ലിംകളായിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍ എത്ര നന്നായിരുന്നേനെ എന്ന് ചിലപ്പോള്‍ സത്യനിഷേധികള്‍ കൊതിച്ച് പോകും

3. ذَرۡهُمۡ يَأۡكُلُواْ وَيَتَمَتَّعُواْ وَيُلۡهِهِمُ ٱلۡأَمَلُۖ فَسَوۡفَ يَعۡلَمُونَ

   ✦3

   Let them eat and enjoy themselves and be diverted by [false] hope, for they are going to know

   നീ അവരെ വിട്ടേക്കുക. അവര്‍ തിന്നുകയും സുഖിക്കുകയും വ്യാമോഹത്തില്‍ വ്യാപൃതരാകുകയും ചെയ്തു കൊള്ളട്ടെ. (പിന്നീട്‌) അവര്‍ മനസ്സിലാക്കിക്കൊള്ളും

4. وَمَآ أَهۡلَكۡنَا مِن قَرۡيَةٍ إِلَّا وَلَهَا كِتَابٞ مَّعۡلُومٞ

   ✦4

   And We did not destroy any city but that for it was a known decree

   ഒരു രാജ്യത്തെയും നാം നശിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടില്ല; നിര്‍ണിതമായ ഒരു അവധി അതിന്ന് നല്‍കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടല്ലാതെ

5. مَّا تَسۡبِقُ مِنۡ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلَهَا وَمَا يَسۡتَـٔۡخِرُونَ

   ✦5

   No nation will precede its term, nor will they remain thereafter

   യാതൊരു സമുദായവും അതിന്‍റെ അവധിയേക്കാള്‍ മുമ്പിലാവുകയില്ല. (അവധി വിട്ട്‌) അവര്‍ പിന്നോട്ട് പോകുകയുമില്ല

6. وَقَالُواْ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِي نُزِّلَ عَلَيۡهِ ٱلذِّكۡرُ إِنَّكَ لَمَجۡنُونٞ

   ✦6

   And they say, "O you upon whom the message has been sent down, indeed you are mad

   അവര്‍ (അവിശ്വാസികള്‍) പറഞ്ഞു: ഹേ; ഉല്‍ബോധനം അവതരിപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുള്ള മനുഷ്യാ! തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നീ ഒരു ഭ്രാന്തന്‍ തന്നെ

7. لَّوۡمَا تَأۡتِينَا بِٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ

   ✦7

   Why do you not bring us the angels, if you should be among the truthful

   നീ സത്യവാന്‍മാരില്‍ പെട്ടവനാണെങ്കില്‍ നീ ഞങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കല്‍ മലക്കുകളെ കൊണ്ട് വരാത്തതെന്ത്‌

8. مَا نُنَزِّلُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَ إِلَّا بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَمَا كَانُوٓاْ إِذٗا مُّنظَرِينَ

   ✦8

   We do not send down the angels except with truth; and the disbelievers would not then be reprieved

   എന്നാല്‍ ന്യായമായ കാരണത്താലല്ലാതെ നാം മലക്കുകളെ ഇറക്കുന്നതല്ല. അന്നേരം അവര്‍ക്ക് (സത്യനിഷേധികള്‍ക്ക്‌) സാവകാശം നല്‍കപ്പെടുന്നതുമല്ല

9. إِنَّا نَحۡنُ نَزَّلۡنَا ٱلذِّكۡرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُۥ لَحَٰفِظُونَ

   ✦9

   Indeed, it is We who sent down the Qur'an and indeed, We will be its guardian

   തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നാമാണ് ആ ഉല്‍ബോധനം അവതരിപ്പിച്ചത്‌. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നാം അതിനെ കാത്തുസൂക്ഷിക്കുന്നതുമാണ്‌

10. وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِكَ فِي شِيَعِ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ

    ✦10

    And We had certainly sent [messengers] before you, [O Muhammad], among the sects of the former peoples

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നിനക്ക് മുമ്പ് പൂര്‍വ്വികന്‍മാരിലെ പല കക്ഷികളിലേക്ക് നാം ദൂതന്‍മാരെ അയച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്‌

11. وَمَا يَأۡتِيهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا كَانُواْ بِهِۦ يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ

    ✦11

    And no messenger would come to them except that they ridiculed him

    ഏതൊരു ദൂതന്‍ അവരുടെ അടുത്ത് ചെല്ലുമ്പോഴും അവര്‍ അദ്ദേഹത്തെ പരിഹസിക്കാതിരുന്നിട്ടില്ല

12. كَذَٰلِكَ نَسۡلُكُهُۥ فِي قُلُوبِ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ

    ✦12

    Thus do We insert denial into the hearts of the criminals

    അപ്രകാരം കുറ്റവാളികളുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളില്‍ അത് (പരിഹാസം) നാം ചെലുത്തി വിടുന്നതാണ്‌

13. لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِهِۦ وَقَدۡ خَلَتۡ سُنَّةُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ

    ✦13

    They will not believe in it, while there has already occurred the precedent of the former peoples

    പൂര്‍വ്വികന്‍മാരില്‍ (ദൈവത്തിന്‍റെ) നടപടി നടന്ന് കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടും അവര്‍ ഇതില്‍ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നില്ല

14. وَلَوۡ فَتَحۡنَا عَلَيۡهِم بَابٗا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَظَلُّواْ فِيهِ يَعۡرُجُونَ

    ✦14

    And [even] if We opened to them a gate from the heaven and they continued therein to ascend

    അവരുടെ മേല്‍ ആകാശത്ത് നിന്ന് നാം ഒരു കവാടം തുറന്നുകൊടുക്കുകയും, എന്നിട്ട് അതിലൂടെ അവര്‍ കയറിപ്പോയിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്താല്‍ പോലും

15. لَقَالُوٓاْ إِنَّمَا سُكِّرَتۡ أَبۡصَٰرُنَا بَلۡ نَحۡنُ قَوۡمٞ مَّسۡحُورُونَ

    ✦15

    They would say, "Our eyes have only been dazzled. Rather, we are a people affected by magic

    അവര്‍ പറയും: ഞങ്ങളുടെ കണ്ണുകള്‍ക്ക് മത്ത് ബാധിച്ചത് മാത്രമാണ്‌. അല്ല, ഞങ്ങള്‍ മാരണം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ട ഒരു കൂട്ടം ആളുകളാണ്‌

16. وَلَقَدۡ جَعَلۡنَا فِي ٱلسَّمَآءِ بُرُوجٗا وَزَيَّنَّـٰهَا لِلنَّـٰظِرِينَ

    ✦16

    And We have placed within the heaven great stars and have beautified it for the observers

    ആകാശത്ത് നാം നക്ഷത്രമണ്ഡലങ്ങള്‍ നിശ്ചയിക്കുകയും, നോക്കുന്നവര്‍ക്ക് അവയെ നാം അലംകൃതമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു

17. وَحَفِظۡنَٰهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيۡطَٰنٖ رَّجِيمٍ

    ✦17

    And We have protected it from every devil expelled [from the mercy of Allah]

    ആട്ടിയകറ്റപ്പെട്ട എല്ലാ പിശാചുക്കളില്‍ നിന്നും അതിനെ നാം കാത്തുസൂക്ഷിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു

18. إِلَّا مَنِ ٱسۡتَرَقَ ٱلسَّمۡعَ فَأَتۡبَعَهُۥ شِهَابٞ مُّبِينٞ

    ✦18

    Except one who steals a hearing and is pursued by a clear burning flame

    എന്നാല്‍ കട്ടുകേള്‍ക്കാന്‍ ശ്രമിച്ചവനാകട്ടെ, പ്രത്യക്ഷമായ ഒരു തീജ്വാല അവനെ പിന്തുടരുന്നതാണ്‌

19. وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ مَدَدۡنَٰهَا وَأَلۡقَيۡنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِيَ وَأَنۢبَتۡنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ مَّوۡزُونٖ

    ✦19

    And the earth - We have spread it and cast therein firmly set mountains and caused to grow therein [something] of every well-balanced thing

    ഭൂമിയെ നാം വിശാലമാക്കുകയും അതില്‍ ഉറച്ചുനില്‍ക്കുന്ന പര്‍വ്വതങ്ങള്‍ സ്ഥാപിക്കുകയും, അളവ് നിര്‍ണയിക്കപ്പെട്ട എല്ലാ വസ്തുക്കളും അതില്‍ നാം മുളപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു

20. وَجَعَلۡنَا لَكُمۡ فِيهَا مَعَٰيِشَ وَمَن لَّسۡتُمۡ لَهُۥ بِرَٰزِقِينَ

    ✦20

    And We have made for you therein means of living and [for] those for whom you are not providers

    നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കും, നിങ്ങള്‍ ആഹാരം നല്‍കിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നവരല്ലാത്തവര്‍ക്കും അതില്‍ നാം ഉപജീവനമാര്‍ഗങ്ങള്‍ ഏര്‍പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു

21. وَإِن مِّن شَيۡءٍ إِلَّا عِندَنَا خَزَآئِنُهُۥ وَمَا نُنَزِّلُهُۥٓ إِلَّا بِقَدَرٖ مَّعۡلُومٖ

    ✦21

    And there is not a thing but that with Us are its depositories, and We do not send it down except according to a known measure

    യാതൊരു വസ്തുവും നമ്മുടെ പക്കല്‍ അതിന്‍റെ ഖജനാവുകള്‍ ഉള്ളതായിട്ടല്ലാതെയില്ല. (എന്നാല്‍) ഒരു നിര്‍ണിതമായ തോതനുസരിച്ചല്ലാതെ നാമത് ഇറക്കുന്നതല്ല

22. وَأَرۡسَلۡنَا ٱلرِّيَٰحَ لَوَٰقِحَ فَأَنزَلۡنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءٗ فَأَسۡقَيۡنَٰكُمُوهُ وَمَآ أَنتُمۡ لَهُۥ بِخَٰزِنِينَ

    ✦22

    And We have sent the fertilizing winds and sent down water from the sky and given you drink from it. And you are not its retainers

    മേഘങ്ങളുല്‍പാദിപ്പിക്കുന്ന കാറ്റുകളെ നാം അയക്കുകയും, എന്നിട്ട് ആകാശത്ത് നിന്ന് വെള്ളം ചൊരിഞ്ഞുതരികയും, എന്നിട്ട് നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് അത് കുടിക്കുമാറാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കത് സംഭരിച്ച് വെക്കാന്‍ കഴിയുമായിരുന്നില്ല

23. وَإِنَّا لَنَحۡنُ نُحۡيِۦ وَنُمِيتُ وَنَحۡنُ ٱلۡوَٰرِثُونَ

    ✦23

    And indeed, it is We who give life and cause death, and We are the Inheritor

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും, നാം തന്നെയാണ് ജീവിപ്പിക്കുകയും മരിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നത്‌. (എല്ലാറ്റിന്‍റെയും) അനന്തരാവകാശിയും നാം തന്നെയാണ്‌

24. وَلَقَدۡ عَلِمۡنَا ٱلۡمُسۡتَقۡدِمِينَ مِنكُمۡ وَلَقَدۡ عَلِمۡنَا ٱلۡمُسۡتَـٔۡخِرِينَ

    ✦24

    And We have already known the preceding [generations] among you, and We have already known the later [ones to come]

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നിങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്ന് മുമ്പിലായവര്‍ ആരെന്ന് നാം അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ട്‌. പിന്നിലായവര്‍ ആരെന്നും നാം അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ട്‌

25. وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ يَحۡشُرُهُمۡۚ إِنَّهُۥ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٞ

    ✦25

    And indeed, your Lord will gather them; indeed, He is Wise and Knowing

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് തന്നെ അവരെ ഒരുമിച്ചുകൂട്ടുന്നതുമാണ്‌. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവന്‍ യുക്തിമാനും സര്‍വ്വജ്ഞനുമത്രെ

26. وَلَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ مِن صَلۡصَٰلٖ مِّنۡ حَمَإٖ مَّسۡنُونٖ

    ✦26

    And We did certainly create man out of clay from an altered black mud

    കറുത്ത ചെളി പാകപ്പെടുത്തിയുണ്ടാക്കിയ (മുട്ടിയാല്‍) മുഴക്കമുണ്ടാക്കുന്ന കളിമണ്‍ രൂപത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് നാം മനുഷ്യനെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു

27. وَٱلۡجَآنَّ خَلَقۡنَٰهُ مِن قَبۡلُ مِن نَّارِ ٱلسَّمُومِ

    ✦27

    And the jinn We created before from scorching fire

    അതിന്നു മുമ്പ് ജിന്നിനെ അത്യുഷ്ണമുള്ള അഗ്നിജ്വാലയില്‍ നിന്നു നാം സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു

28. وَإِذۡ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ إِنِّي خَٰلِقُۢ بَشَرٗا مِّن صَلۡصَٰلٖ مِّنۡ حَمَإٖ مَّسۡنُونٖ

    ✦28

    And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, "I will create a human being out of clay from an altered black mud

    നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് മലക്കുകളോട് ഇപ്രകാരം പറഞ്ഞ സന്ദര്‍ഭം ശ്രദ്ധേയമാകുന്നു: കറുത്ത ചെളി പാകപ്പെടുത്തിയുണ്ടാക്കിയ മുഴക്കമുണ്ടാക്കുന്ന കളിമണ്‍ രൂപത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് ഞാന്‍ ഒരു മനുഷ്യനെ സൃഷ്ടിക്കാന്‍ പോകുകയാണ്‌

29. فَإِذَا سَوَّيۡتُهُۥ وَنَفَخۡتُ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِي فَقَعُواْ لَهُۥ سَٰجِدِينَ

    ✦29

    And when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration

    അങ്ങനെ ഞാന്‍ അവനെ ശരിയായ രൂപത്തിലാക്കുകയും, എന്‍റെ ആത്മാവില്‍ നിന്ന് അവനില്‍ ഞാന്‍ ഊതുകയും ചെയ്താല്‍, അപ്പോള്‍ അവന്ന് പ്രണമിക്കുന്നവരായിക്കൊണ്ട് നിങ്ങള്‍ വീഴുവിന്‍

30. فَسَجَدَ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ كُلُّهُمۡ أَجۡمَعُونَ

    ✦30

    So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely

    അപ്പോള്‍ മലക്കുകള്‍ എല്ലാവരും പ്രണമിച്ചു

31. إِلَّآ إِبۡلِيسَ أَبَىٰٓ أَن يَكُونَ مَعَ ٱلسَّـٰجِدِينَ

    ✦31

    Except Iblees, he refused to be with those who prostrated

    ഇബ്ലീസ് ഒഴികെ. പ്രണമിക്കുന്നവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിലായിരിക്കാന്‍ അവന്‍ വിസമ്മതിച്ചു

32. قَالَ يَـٰٓإِبۡلِيسُ مَا لَكَ أَلَّا تَكُونَ مَعَ ٱلسَّـٰجِدِينَ

    ✦32

    [Allah] said, O Iblees, what is [the matter] with you that you are not with those who prostrate

    അല്ലാഹു പറഞ്ഞു: ഇബ്ലീസേ, പ്രണമിക്കുന്നവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില്‍ ചേരാതിരിക്കുവാന്‍ നിനക്കെന്താണ് ന്യായം

33. قَالَ لَمۡ أَكُن لِّأَسۡجُدَ لِبَشَرٍ خَلَقۡتَهُۥ مِن صَلۡصَٰلٖ مِّنۡ حَمَإٖ مَّسۡنُونٖ

    ✦33

    He said, "Never would I prostrate to a human whom You created out of clay from an altered black mud

    അവന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു : കറുത്ത ചെളി പാകപ്പെടുത്തിയുണ്ടാക്കിയ (മുട്ടിയാല്‍) മുഴക്കമുണ്ടാക്കുന്ന കളിമണ്‍ രൂപത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് നീ സൃഷ്ടിച്ച മനുഷ്യന് ഞാന്‍ പ്രണമിക്കേണ്ടവനല്ല

34. قَالَ فَٱخۡرُجۡ مِنۡهَا فَإِنَّكَ رَجِيمٞ

    ✦34

    [Allah] said, "Then get out of it, for indeed, you are expelled

    അവന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു: നീ ഇവിടെ നിന്ന് പുറത്ത് പോ. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നീ ആട്ടിയകറ്റപ്പെട്ടവനാകുന്നു

35. وَإِنَّ عَلَيۡكَ ٱللَّعۡنَةَ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلدِّينِ

    ✦35

    And indeed, upon you is the curse until the Day of Recompense

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ന്യായവിധിയുടെ നാള്‍ വരെയും നിന്‍റെ മേല്‍ ശാപമുണ്ടായിരിക്കുന്നതാണ്‌

36. قَالَ رَبِّ فَأَنظِرۡنِيٓ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ يُبۡعَثُونَ

    ✦36

    He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected

    അവന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു: എന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവേ, അവര്‍ ഉയിര്‍ത്തെഴുന്നേല്‍പിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന ദിവസം വരെ എനിക്ക് നീ അവധി നീട്ടിത്തരേണമേ

37. قَالَ فَإِنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُنظَرِينَ

    ✦37

    [Allah] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved

    അല്ലാഹു പറഞ്ഞു: എന്നാല്‍ തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നീ അവധി നല്‍കപ്പെടുന്നവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില്‍ തന്നെയായിരിക്കും

38. إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡوَقۡتِ ٱلۡمَعۡلُومِ

    ✦38

    Until the Day of the time well-known

    ആ നിശ്ചിത സന്ദര്‍ഭം വന്നെത്തുന്ന ദിവസം വരെ

39. قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَآ أَغۡوَيۡتَنِي لَأُزَيِّنَنَّ لَهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَأُغۡوِيَنَّهُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ

    ✦39

    [Iblees] said, "My Lord, because You have put me in error, I will surely make [disobedience] attractive to them on earth, and I will mislead them all

    അവന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു: എന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവേ, നീ എന്നെ വഴികേടിലാക്കിയതിനാല്‍, ഭൂലോകത്ത് അവര്‍ക്കു ഞാന്‍ (ദുഷ്പ്രവൃത്തികള്‍) അലംകൃതമായി തോന്നിക്കുകയും, അവരെ മുഴുവന്‍ ഞാന്‍ വഴികേടിലാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും; തീര്‍ച്ച

40. إِلَّا عِبَادَكَ مِنۡهُمُ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ

    ✦40

    Except, among them, Your chosen servants

    അവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് നിന്‍റെ നിഷ്കളങ്കരായ ദാസന്‍മാരൊഴികെ

41. قَالَ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطٌ عَلَيَّ مُسۡتَقِيمٌ

    ✦41

    [Allah] said, "This is a path [of return] to Me [that is] straight

    അവന്‍ (അല്ലാഹു) പറഞ്ഞു: എന്നിലേക്ക് നേര്‍ക്കുനേരെയുള്ള മാര്‍ഗമാകുന്നു ഇത്‌

42. إِنَّ عِبَادِي لَيۡسَ لَكَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ سُلۡطَٰنٌ إِلَّا مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ ٱلۡغَاوِينَ

    ✦42

    Indeed, My servants - no authority will you have over them, except those who follow you of the deviators

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും എന്‍റെ ദാസന്‍മാരുടെ മേല്‍ നിനക്ക് യാതൊരു ആധിപത്യവുമില്ല. നിന്നെ പിന്‍പറ്റിയ ദുര്‍മാര്‍ഗികളുടെ മേലല്ലാതെ

43. وَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ لَمَوۡعِدُهُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ

    ✦43

    And indeed, Hell is the promised place for them all

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നരകം അവര്‍ക്കെല്ലാം നിശ്ചയിക്കപ്പെട്ട സ്ഥാനം തന്നെയാകുന്നു

44. لَهَا سَبۡعَةُ أَبۡوَٰبٖ لِّكُلِّ بَابٖ مِّنۡهُمۡ جُزۡءٞ مَّقۡسُومٌ

    ✦44

    It has seven gates; for every gate is of them a portion designated

    അതിന് ഏഴ് കവാടങ്ങളുണ്ട്‌. ഓരോ വാതിലിലൂടെയും കടക്കുവാനായി വീതിക്കപ്പെട്ട ഓരോ വിഭാഗം അവരിലുണ്ട്‌

45. إِنَّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّـٰتٖ وَعُيُونٍ

    ✦45

    Indeed, the righteous will be within gardens and springs

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും സൂക്ഷ്മത പാലിച്ചവര്‍ തോട്ടങ്ങളിലും അരുവികളിലുമായിരിക്കും

46. ٱدۡخُلُوهَا بِسَلَٰمٍ ءَامِنِينَ

    ✦46

    [Having been told], "Enter it in peace, safe [and secure]

    നിര്‍ഭയരായി ശാന്തിയോടെ അതില്‍ പ്രവേശിച്ച് കൊള്ളുക. (എന്ന് അവര്‍ക്ക് സ്വാഗതം ആശംസിക്കപ്പെടും)

47. وَنَزَعۡنَا مَا فِي صُدُورِهِم مِّنۡ غِلٍّ إِخۡوَٰنًا عَلَىٰ سُرُرٖ مُّتَقَٰبِلِينَ

    ✦47

    And We will remove whatever is in their breasts of resentment, [so they will be] brothers, on thrones facing each other

    അവരുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളില്‍ വല്ല വിദ്വേഷവുമുണ്ടെങ്കില്‍ നാമത് നീക്കം ചെയ്യുന്നതാണ്‌. സഹോദരങ്ങളെന്ന നിലയില്‍ അവര്‍ കട്ടിലുകളില്‍ പരസ്പരം അഭിമുഖമായി ഇരിക്കുന്നവരായിരിക്കും

48. لَا يَمَسُّهُمۡ فِيهَا نَصَبٞ وَمَا هُم مِّنۡهَا بِمُخۡرَجِينَ

    ✦48

    No fatigue will touch them therein, nor from it will they [ever] be removed

    അവിടെവെച്ച് യാതൊരു ക്ഷീണവും അവരെ ബാധിക്കുന്നതല്ല. അവിടെ നിന്ന് അവര്‍ പുറത്താക്കപ്പെടുന്നതുമല്ല

49. ۞نَبِّئۡ عِبَادِيٓ أَنِّيٓ أَنَا ٱلۡغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

    ✦49

    [O Muhammad], inform My servants that it is I who am the Forgiving, the Merciful

    (നബിയേ,) ഞാന്‍ ഏറെ പൊറുക്കുന്നവനും കരുണാനിധിയുമാണ് എന്ന് എന്‍റെ ദാസന്‍മാരെ വിവരമറിയിക്കുക

50. وَأَنَّ عَذَابِي هُوَ ٱلۡعَذَابُ ٱلۡأَلِيمُ

    ✦50

    And that it is My punishment which is the painful punishment

    എന്‍റെ ശിക്ഷ തന്നെയാണ് വേദനയേറിയ ശിക്ഷ എന്നും (വിവരമറിയിക്കുക)

51. وَنَبِّئۡهُمۡ عَن ضَيۡفِ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ

    ✦51

    And inform them about the guests of Abraham

    ഇബ്രാഹീമിന്‍റെ (അടുത്ത് വന്ന) അതിഥികളെപ്പറ്റി നീ അവരെ വിവരമറിയിക്കുക

52. إِذۡ دَخَلُواْ عَلَيۡهِ فَقَالُواْ سَلَٰمٗا قَالَ إِنَّا مِنكُمۡ وَجِلُونَ

    ✦52

    When they entered upon him and said, "Peace." [Abraham] said, "Indeed, we are fearful of you

    അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്‍റെ അടുത്ത് കടന്ന് വന്ന് അവര്‍ സലാം എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ സന്ദര്‍ഭം. അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഞങ്ങള്‍ നിങ്ങളെപ്പറ്റി ഭയമുള്ളവരാകുന്നു

53. قَالُواْ لَا تَوۡجَلۡ إِنَّا نُبَشِّرُكَ بِغُلَٰمٍ عَلِيمٖ

    ✦53

    [The angels] said, "Fear not. Indeed, we give you good tidings of a learned boy

    അവര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു: താങ്കള്‍ ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ട. ജ്ഞാനിയായ ഒരു ആണ്‍കുട്ടിയെപ്പറ്റി ഞങ്ങളിതാ താങ്കള്‍ക്കു സന്തോഷവാര്‍ത്ത അറിയിക്കുന്നു

54. قَالَ أَبَشَّرۡتُمُونِي عَلَىٰٓ أَن مَّسَّنِيَ ٱلۡكِبَرُ فَبِمَ تُبَشِّرُونَ

    ✦54

    He said, "Have you given me good tidings although old age has come upon me? Then of what [wonder] do you inform

    അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: എനിക്ക് വാര്‍ദ്ധക്യം ബാധിച്ചു കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടാണോ എനിക്ക് നിങ്ങള്‍ (സന്താനത്തെപറ്റി) സന്തോഷവാര്‍ത്ത അറിയിക്കുന്നത്‌? അപ്പോള്‍ എന്തൊന്നിനെപ്പറ്റിയാണ് നിങ്ങളീ സന്തോഷവാര്‍ത്ത അറിയിക്കുന്നത്‌

55. قَالُواْ بَشَّرۡنَٰكَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ فَلَا تَكُن مِّنَ ٱلۡقَٰنِطِينَ

    ✦55

    They said, "We have given you good tidings in truth, so do not be of the despairing

    അവര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു: ഞങ്ങള്‍ താങ്കള്‍ക്ക് സന്തോഷവാര്‍ത്ത നല്‍കിയിട്ടുള്ളത് ഒരു യാഥാര്‍ത്ഥ്യത്തെപറ്റിതന്നെയാണ്‌. അതിനാല്‍ താങ്കള്‍ നിരാശരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിലായിരിക്കരുത്‌

56. قَالَ وَمَن يَقۡنَطُ مِن رَّحۡمَةِ رَبِّهِۦٓ إِلَّا ٱلضَّآلُّونَ

    ✦56

    He said, "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for those astray

    അദ്ദേഹം (ഇബ്രാഹീം) പറഞ്ഞു: തന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്‍റെ കാരുണ്യത്തെപ്പറ്റി ആരാണ് നിരാശപ്പെടുക? വഴിപിഴച്ചവരല്ലാതെ

57. قَالَ فَمَا خَطۡبُكُمۡ أَيُّهَا ٱلۡمُرۡسَلُونَ

    ✦57

    [Abraham] said, "Then what is your business [here], O messengers

    അദ്ദേഹം (ഇബ്രാഹീം) പറഞ്ഞു: ഹേ; ദൂതന്‍മാരേ, എന്നാല്‍ നിങ്ങളുടെ (മുഖ്യ) വിഷയമെന്താണ്‌

58. قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّآ أُرۡسِلۡنَآ إِلَىٰ قَوۡمٖ مُّجۡرِمِينَ

    ✦58

    They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals

    അവര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു: ഞങ്ങള്‍ കുറ്റവാളികളായ ഒരു ജനതയിലേക്ക് അയക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുകയാണ്‌

59. إِلَّآ ءَالَ لُوطٍ إِنَّا لَمُنَجُّوهُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ

    ✦59

    Except the family of Lot; indeed, we will save them all

    (എന്നാല്‍) ലൂത്വിന്‍റെ കുടുംബം അതില്‍ നിന്നൊഴിവാണ്‌. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവരെ മുഴുവന്‍ ഞങ്ങള്‍ രക്ഷപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതാണ്‌

60. إِلَّا ٱمۡرَأَتَهُۥ قَدَّرۡنَآ إِنَّهَا لَمِنَ ٱلۡغَٰبِرِينَ

    ✦60

    Except his wife." Allah decreed that she is of those who remain behind

    അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്‍റെ ഭാര്യ ഒഴികെ. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവള്‍ ശിക്ഷയില്‍ അകപ്പെടുന്നവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിലാണെന്ന് ഞങ്ങള്‍ കണക്കാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു

61. فَلَمَّا جَآءَ ءَالَ لُوطٍ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلُونَ

    ✦61

    And when the messengers came to the family of Lot

    അങ്ങനെ ലൂത്വിന്‍റെ കുടുംബത്തില്‍ ആ ദൂതന്‍മാര്‍ വന്നെത്തിയപ്പോള്‍

62. قَالَ إِنَّكُمۡ قَوۡمٞ مُّنكَرُونَ

    ✦62

    He said, "Indeed, you are people unknown

    അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നിങ്ങള്‍ അപരിചിതരായ ആളുകളാണല്ലോ

63. قَالُواْ بَلۡ جِئۡنَٰكَ بِمَا كَانُواْ فِيهِ يَمۡتَرُونَ

    ✦63

    They said, "But we have come to you with that about which they were disputing

    അവര്‍ (ആ ദൂതന്‍മാരായ മലക്കുകള്‍) പറഞ്ഞു: അല്ല, ഏതൊരു (ശിക്ഷയുടെ) കാര്യത്തില്‍ അവര്‍ (ജനങ്ങള്‍) സംശയിച്ചിരുന്നുവോ അതും കൊണ്ടാണ് ഞങ്ങള്‍ താങ്കളുടെ അടുത്ത് വന്നിരിക്കുന്നത്‌

64. وَأَتَيۡنَٰكَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَإِنَّا لَصَٰدِقُونَ

    ✦64

    And we have come to you with truth, and indeed, we are truthful

    യാഥാര്‍ത്ഥ്യവും കൊണ്ടാണ് ഞങ്ങള്‍ താങ്കളുടെ അടുത്ത് വന്നിരിക്കുന്നത്‌. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഞങ്ങള്‍ സത്യം പറയുന്നവരാകുന്നു

65. فَأَسۡرِ بِأَهۡلِكَ بِقِطۡعٖ مِّنَ ٱلَّيۡلِ وَٱتَّبِعۡ أَدۡبَٰرَهُمۡ وَلَا يَلۡتَفِتۡ مِنكُمۡ أَحَدٞ وَٱمۡضُواْ حَيۡثُ تُؤۡمَرُونَ

    ✦65

    So set out with your family during a portion of the night and follow behind them and let not anyone among you look back and continue on to where you are commanded

    അതിനാല്‍ താങ്കളുടെ കുടുംബത്തെയും കൊണ്ട് രാത്രിയില്‍ അല്‍പസമയം ബാക്കിയുള്ളപ്പോള്‍ യാത്രചെയ്ത് കൊള്ളുക. താങ്കള്‍ അവരുടെ പിന്നാലെ അനുഗമിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക. നിങ്ങളില്‍ ഒരാളും തിരിഞ്ഞ് നോക്കരുത്‌. നിങ്ങള്‍ കല്‍പിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന ഭാഗത്തേക്ക് നടന്ന് പോയിക്കൊള്ളുക

66. وَقَضَيۡنَآ إِلَيۡهِ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡأَمۡرَ أَنَّ دَابِرَ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ مَقۡطُوعٞ مُّصۡبِحِينَ

    ✦66

    And We conveyed to him [the decree] of that matter: that those [sinners] would be eliminated by early morning

    ആ കാര്യം, അതായത് പ്രഭാതമാകുന്നതോടെ ഇക്കൂട്ടരുടെ മുരടുതന്നെ മുറിച്ചുനീക്കപ്പെടുന്നതാണ് എന്ന കാര്യം നാം അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് (ലൂത്വ് നബിക്ക്‌) ഖണ്ഡിതമായി അറിയിച്ച് കൊടുത്തു

67. وَجَآءَ أَهۡلُ ٱلۡمَدِينَةِ يَسۡتَبۡشِرُونَ

    ✦67

    And the people of the city came rejoicing

    രാജ്യക്കാര്‍ സന്തോഷം പ്രകടിപ്പിച്ചു കൊണ്ട് വന്നു

68. قَالَ إِنَّ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ ضَيۡفِي فَلَا تَفۡضَحُونِ

    ✦68

    [Lot] said, "Indeed, these are my guests, so do not shame me

    അദ്ദേഹം (ലൂത്വ്‌) പറഞ്ഞു: തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഇവര്‍ എന്‍റെ അതിഥികളാണ്‌. അതിനാല്‍ നിങ്ങളെന്നെ വഷളാക്കരുത്‌

69. وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَلَا تُخۡزُونِ

    ✦69

    And fear Allah and do not disgrace me

    നിങ്ങള്‍ അല്ലാഹുവെ സൂക്ഷിക്കുകയും, എന്നെ അപമാനിക്കാതിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക

70. قَالُوٓاْ أَوَلَمۡ نَنۡهَكَ عَنِ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

    ✦70

    They said, "Have we not forbidden you from [protecting] people

    അവര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു: ലോകരുടെ കാര്യത്തില്‍ (ഇടപെടുന്നതില്‍) നിന്നു നിന്നെ ഞങ്ങള്‍ വിലക്കിയിട്ടില്ലേ

71. قَالَ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ بَنَاتِيٓ إِن كُنتُمۡ فَٰعِلِينَ

    ✦71

    [Lot] said, "These are my daughters - if you would be doers [of lawful marriage]

    അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: ഇതാ എന്‍റെ പെണ്‍മക്കള്‍. (അവരെ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് വിവാഹം കഴിക്കാം.) നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ചെയ്യാം എന്നുണ്ടെങ്കില്‍

72. لَعَمۡرُكَ إِنَّهُمۡ لَفِي سَكۡرَتِهِمۡ يَعۡمَهُونَ

    ✦72

    By your life, [O Muhammad], indeed they were, in their intoxication, wandering blindly

    നിന്‍റെ ജീവിതം തന്നെയാണ സത്യം തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവര്‍ അവരുടെ ലഹരിയില്‍ വിഹരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു

73. فَأَخَذَتۡهُمُ ٱلصَّيۡحَةُ مُشۡرِقِينَ

    ✦73

    So the shriek seized them at sunrise

    അങ്ങനെ സൂര്യോദയത്തോടെ ആ ഘോരശബ്ദം അവരെ പിടികൂടി

74. فَجَعَلۡنَا عَٰلِيَهَا سَافِلَهَا وَأَمۡطَرۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ حِجَارَةٗ مِّن سِجِّيلٍ

    ✦74

    And We made the highest part [of the city] its lowest and rained upon them stones of hard clay

    അങ്ങനെ ആ രാജ്യത്തെ നാം തലകീഴായി മറിക്കുകയും, ചുട്ടുപഴുത്ത ഇഷ്ടികക്കല്ലുകള്‍ അവരുടെ മേല്‍ നാം വര്‍ഷിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു

75. إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّلۡمُتَوَسِّمِينَ

    ✦75

    Indeed in that are signs for those who discern

    നിരീക്ഷിച്ച് മനസ്സിലാക്കുന്നവര്‍ക്ക് തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അതില്‍ പല ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങളുമുണ്ട്‌

76. وَإِنَّهَا لَبِسَبِيلٖ مُّقِيمٍ

    ✦76

    And indeed, those cities are [situated] on an established road

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അത് (ആ രാജ്യം) (ഇന്നും) നിലനിന്ന് വരുന്ന ഒരു പാതയിലാണ് സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത്‌

77. إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةٗ لِّلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

    ✦77

    Indeed in that is a sign for the believers

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അതില്‍ വിശ്വാസികള്‍ക്ക് ഒരു ദൃഷ്ടാന്തമുണ്ട്‌

78. وَإِن كَانَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡأَيۡكَةِ لَظَٰلِمِينَ

    ✦78

    And the companions of the thicket were [also] wrongdoers

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും മരക്കൂട്ടത്തില്‍ താമസിച്ചിരുന്ന ജനവിഭാഗം അക്രമികളായിരുന്നു

79. فَٱنتَقَمۡنَا مِنۡهُمۡ وَإِنَّهُمَا لَبِإِمَامٖ مُّبِينٖ

    ✦79

    So We took retribution from them, and indeed, both [cities] are on a clear highway

    അതിനാല്‍ നാം അവരുടെ നേരെ ശിക്ഷാനടപടി സ്വീകരിച്ചു. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഈ രണ്ട് പ്രദേശവും തുറന്ന പാതയില്‍ തന്നെയാണ് സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്‌

80. وَلَقَدۡ كَذَّبَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡحِجۡرِ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ

    ✦80

    And certainly did the companions of Thamud deny the messengers

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഹിജ്‌റിലെ നിവാസികള്‍ ദൈവദൂതന്‍മാരെ നിഷേധിച്ച് കളയുകയുണ്ടായി

81. وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمۡ ءَايَٰتِنَا فَكَانُواْ عَنۡهَا مُعۡرِضِينَ

    ✦81

    And We gave them Our signs, but from them they were turning away

    അവര്‍ക്ക് നാം നമ്മുടെ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങള്‍ നല്‍കുകയും ചെയ്തു. എന്നിട്ട് അവര്‍ അവയെ അവഗണിച്ച് കളയുകയായിരുന്നു

82. وَكَانُواْ يَنۡحِتُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡجِبَالِ بُيُوتًا ءَامِنِينَ

    ✦82

    And they used to carve from the mountains, houses, feeling secure

    അവര്‍ പര്‍വ്വതങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്ന് (പാറകള്‍) വെട്ടിത്തുരന്ന് വീടുകളുണ്ടാക്കി നിര്‍ഭയരായി കഴിയുകയായിരുന്നു

83. فَأَخَذَتۡهُمُ ٱلصَّيۡحَةُ مُصۡبِحِينَ

    ✦83

    But the shriek seized them at early morning

    അങ്ങനെയിരിക്കെ പ്രഭാതവേളയില്‍ ഒരു ഘോരശബ്ദം അവരെ പിടികൂടി

84. فَمَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنۡهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَكۡسِبُونَ

    ✦84

    So nothing availed them [from] what they used to earn

    അപ്പോള്‍ അവര്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചുണ്ടാക്കിയിരുന്നതൊന്നും അവര്‍ക്ക് ഉപകരിച്ചില്ല

85. وَمَا خَلَقۡنَا ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَآ إِلَّا بِٱلۡحَقِّۗ وَإِنَّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ لَأٓتِيَةٞۖ فَٱصۡفَحِ ٱلصَّفۡحَ ٱلۡجَمِيلَ

    ✦85

    And We have not created the heavens and earth and that between them except in truth. And indeed, the Hour is coming; so forgive with gracious forgiveness

    ആകാശങ്ങളും ഭൂമിയും അവ രണ്ടിനും ഇടയിലുള്ളതും യുക്തിപൂര്‍വ്വകമായല്ലാതെ നാം സൃഷ്ടിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അന്ത്യസമയം വരുക തന്നെ ചെയ്യും. അതിനാല്‍ നീ ഭംഗിയായി മാപ്പ് ചെയ്ത് കൊടുക്കുക

86. إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ ٱلۡخَلَّـٰقُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ

    ✦86

    Indeed, your Lord - He is the Knowing Creator

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് എല്ലാം സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നവനും എല്ലാം അറിയുന്നവനുമാകുന്നു

87. وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَيۡنَٰكَ سَبۡعٗا مِّنَ ٱلۡمَثَانِي وَٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ ٱلۡعَظِيمَ

    ✦87

    And We have certainly given you, [O Muhammad], seven of the often repeated [verses] and the great Qur'an

    ആവര്‍ത്തിച്ചു പാരായണം ചെയ്യപ്പെടുന്ന ഏഴ് വചനങ്ങളും മഹത്തായ ഖുര്‍ആനും തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നിനക്ക് നാം നല്‍കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്‌

88. لَا تَمُدَّنَّ عَيۡنَيۡكَ إِلَىٰ مَا مَتَّعۡنَا بِهِۦٓ أَزۡوَٰجٗا مِّنۡهُمۡ وَلَا تَحۡزَنۡ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَٱخۡفِضۡ جَنَاحَكَ لِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

    ✦88

    Do not extend your eyes toward that by which We have given enjoyment to [certain] categories of the disbelievers, and do not grieve over them. And lower your wing to the believers

    അവരില്‍ (അവിശ്വാസികളില്‍) പെട്ട പല വിഭാഗക്കാര്‍ക്കും നാം സുഖഭോഗങ്ങള്‍ നല്‍കിയിട്ടുള്ളതിന്‍റെ നേര്‍ക്ക് നീ നിന്‍റെ ദൃഷ്ടികള്‍ നീട്ടിപ്പോകരുത്‌. അവരെപ്പറ്റി നീ വ്യസനിക്കേണ്ട. സത്യവിശ്വാസികള്‍ക്ക് നീ നിന്‍റെ ചിറക് താഴ്ത്തികൊടുക്കുക

89. وَقُلۡ إِنِّيٓ أَنَا ٱلنَّذِيرُ ٱلۡمُبِينُ

    ✦89

    And say, "Indeed, I am the clear warner

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഞാന്‍ വ്യക്തമായ ഒരു താക്കീതുകാരന്‍ തന്നെയാണ് എന്ന് പറയുകയും ചെയ്യുക

90. كَمَآ أَنزَلۡنَا عَلَى ٱلۡمُقۡتَسِمِينَ

    ✦90

    Just as We had revealed [scriptures] to the separators

    വിഭജനം നടത്തിക്കളഞ്ഞവരുടെ മേല്‍ നാം ഇറക്കിയത് പോലെത്തന്നെ

91. ٱلَّذِينَ جَعَلُواْ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ عِضِينَ

    ✦91

    Who have made the Qur'an into portions

    അതായത് ഖുര്‍ആനിനെ വ്യത്യസ്ത ഖണ്ഡങ്ങളാക്കി മാറ്റിയവരുടെ മേല്‍

92. فَوَرَبِّكَ لَنَسۡـَٔلَنَّهُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ

    ✦92

    So by your Lord, We will surely question them all

    എന്നാല്‍ നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിനെത്തന്നെയാണ, അവരെ മുഴുവന്‍ നാം ചോദ്യം ചെയ്യുക തന്നെ ചെയ്യും

93. عَمَّا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ

    ✦93

    About what they used to do

    അവര്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ച് കൊണ്ടിരുന്നതിനെ സംബന്ധിച്ച്‌

94. فَٱصۡدَعۡ بِمَا تُؤۡمَرُ وَأَعۡرِضۡ عَنِ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ

    ✦94

    Then declare what you are commanded and turn away from the polytheists

    അതിനാല്‍ നീ കല്‍പിക്കപ്പെടുന്നതെന്തോ അത് ഉറക്കെ പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ച് കൊള്ളുക. ബഹുദൈവവാദികളില്‍ നിന്ന് തിരിഞ്ഞുകളയുകയും ചെയ്യുക

95. إِنَّا كَفَيۡنَٰكَ ٱلۡمُسۡتَهۡزِءِينَ

    ✦95

    Indeed, We are sufficient for you against the mockers

    പരിഹാസക്കാരില്‍ നിന്ന് നിന്നെ സംരക്ഷിക്കാന്‍ തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നാം മതിയായിരിക്കുന്നു

96. ٱلَّذِينَ يَجۡعَلُونَ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَۚ فَسَوۡفَ يَعۡلَمُونَ

    ✦96

    Who make [equal] with Allah another deity. But they are going to know

    അതായത് അല്ലാഹുവോടൊപ്പം മറ്റുദൈവത്തെ സ്ഥാപിക്കുന്നവര്‍ (പിന്നീട്‌) അവര്‍ അറിഞ്ഞ് കൊള്ളും

97. وَلَقَدۡ نَعۡلَمُ أَنَّكَ يَضِيقُ صَدۡرُكَ بِمَا يَقُولُونَ

    ✦97

    And We already know that your breast is constrained by what they say

    അവര്‍ പറഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നത് നിമിത്തം നിനക്ക് മനഃപ്രയാസം അനുഭവപ്പെടുന്നുണ്ട് എന്ന് തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നാം അറിയുന്നുണ്ട്‌

98. فَسَبِّحۡ بِحَمۡدِ رَبِّكَ وَكُن مِّنَ ٱلسَّـٰجِدِينَ

    ✦98

    So exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord and be of those who prostrate [to Him]

    ആകയാല്‍ നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിനെ സ്തുതിച്ച് കൊണ്ട് നീ സ്തോത്രകീര്‍ത്തനം നടത്തുകയും, നീ സുജൂദ് ചെയ്യുന്നവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിലായിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക

99. وَٱعۡبُدۡ رَبَّكَ حَتَّىٰ يَأۡتِيَكَ ٱلۡيَقِينُ

    ✦99

    And worship your Lord until there comes to you the certainty (death)

    ഉറപ്പായ കാര്യം (മരണം) നിനക്ക് വന്നെത്തുന്നത് വരെ നീ നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിനെ ആരാധിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക
