بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

  1. الٓرۚ كِتَٰبٌ أُحۡكِمَتۡ ءَايَٰتُهُۥ ثُمَّ فُصِّلَتۡ مِن لَّدُنۡ حَكِيمٍ خَبِيرٍ

    1

    Alif, Lam, Ra. [This is] a Book whose verses are perfected and then presented in detail from [one who is] Wise and Acquainted

    അലിഫ്‌-ലാം-റാ. ഒരു പ്രമാണഗ്രന്ഥമത്രെ ഇത്‌. അതിലെ വചനങ്ങള്‍ ആശയഭദ്രതയുള്ളതാക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. പിന്നീടത് വിശദീകരിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. യുക്തിമാനും സൂക്ഷ്മജ്ഞാനിയുമായ അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ അടുക്കല്‍ നിന്നുള്ളതത്രെ അത്‌

  2. أَلَّا تَعۡبُدُوٓاْ إِلَّا ٱللَّهَۚ إِنَّنِي لَكُم مِّنۡهُ نَذِيرٞ وَبَشِيرٞ

    2

    [Through a messenger, saying], "Do not worship except Allah. Indeed, I am to you from Him a warner and a bringer of good tidings

    എന്തെന്നാല്‍ അല്ലാഹുവിനെയല്ലാതെ നിങ്ങള്‍ ആരാധിക്കരുത്‌. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവങ്കല്‍ നിന്ന് നിങ്ങളിലേക്ക് നിയോഗിക്കപ്പെട്ട താക്കീതുകാരനും സന്തോഷവാര്‍ത്തക്കാരനുമത്രെ ഞാന്‍

  3. وَأَنِ ٱسۡتَغۡفِرُواْ رَبَّكُمۡ ثُمَّ تُوبُوٓاْ إِلَيۡهِ يُمَتِّعۡكُم مَّتَٰعًا حَسَنًا إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٖ مُّسَمّٗى وَيُؤۡتِ كُلَّ ذِي فَضۡلٖ فَضۡلَهُۥۖ وَإِن تَوَلَّوۡاْ فَإِنِّيٓ أَخَافُ عَلَيۡكُمۡ عَذَابَ يَوۡمٖ كَبِيرٍ

    3

    And [saying], "Seek forgiveness of your Lord and repent to Him, [and] He will let you enjoy a good provision for a specified term and give every doer of favor his favor. But if you turn away, then indeed, I fear for you the punishment of a great Day

    നിങ്ങള്‍ നിങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിനോട് പാപമോചനം തേടുകയും എന്നിട്ട് അവനിലേക്ക് ഖേദിച്ചുമടങ്ങുകയും ചെയ്യുക. എങ്കില്‍ നിര്‍ണിതമായ ഒരു അവധിവരെ അവന്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് നല്ല സൌഖ്യമനുഭവിപ്പിക്കുകയും, ഉദാരമനസ്ഥിതിയുള്ള എല്ലാവര്‍ക്കും തങ്ങളുടെ ഉദാരതയ്ക്കുള്ള പ്രതിഫലം നല്‍കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നതാണ്‌. നിങ്ങള്‍ തിരിഞ്ഞുകളയുന്ന പക്ഷം ഭയങ്കരമായ ഒരു ദിവസത്തിലെ ശിക്ഷ നിങ്ങളുടെ മേല്‍ ഞാന്‍ നിശ്ചയമായും ഭയപ്പെടുന്നു

  4. إِلَى ٱللَّهِ مَرۡجِعُكُمۡۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ قَدِيرٌ

    4

    To Allah is your return, and He is over all things competent

    അല്ലാഹുവിങ്കലേക്കണ് നിങ്ങളുടെ മടക്കം. അവന്‍ എല്ലാകാര്യത്തിനും കഴിവുള്ളവനത്രെ

  5. أَلَآ إِنَّهُمۡ يَثۡنُونَ صُدُورَهُمۡ لِيَسۡتَخۡفُواْ مِنۡهُۚ أَلَا حِينَ يَسۡتَغۡشُونَ ثِيَابَهُمۡ يَعۡلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعۡلِنُونَۚ إِنَّهُۥ عَلِيمُۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ

    5

    Unquestionably, they the disbelievers turn away their breasts to hide themselves from Him. Unquestionably, [even] when they cover themselves in their clothing, Allah knows what they conceal and what they declare. Indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts

    ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക: അവനില്‍ നിന്ന് (അല്ലാഹുവില്‍ നിന്ന്‌) ഒളിക്കാന്‍ വേണ്ടി അവര്‍ തങ്ങളുടെ നെഞ്ചുകള്‍ മടക്കിക്കളയുന്നു. ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക: അവര്‍ തങ്ങളുടെ വസ്ത്രങ്ങള്‍കൊണ്ട് പുതച്ച് മൂടുമ്പോള്‍ പോലും അവര്‍ രഹസ്യമാക്കുന്നതും പരസ്യമാക്കുന്നതും അവന്‍ അറിയുന്നു. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവന്‍ നെഞ്ചുകളിലുള്ളത് അറിയുന്നവനാകുന്നു

  6. ۞وَمَا مِن دَآبَّةٖ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ إِلَّا عَلَى ٱللَّهِ رِزۡقُهَا وَيَعۡلَمُ مُسۡتَقَرَّهَا وَمُسۡتَوۡدَعَهَاۚ كُلّٞ فِي كِتَٰبٖ مُّبِينٖ

    6

    And there is no creature on earth but that upon Allah is its provision, and He knows its place of dwelling and place of storage. All is in a clear register

    ഭൂമിയില്‍ യാതൊരു ജന്തുവും അതിന്‍റെ ഉപജീവനം അല്ലാഹു ബാധ്യത ഏറ്റതായിട്ടല്ലാതെ ഇല്ല. അവയുടെ താമസസ്ഥലവും സൂക്ഷിപ്പുസ്ഥലവും അവന്‍ അറിയുന്നു. എല്ലാം സ്പഷ്ടമായ ഒരു രേഖയിലുണ്ട്‌

  7. وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٖ وَكَانَ عَرۡشُهُۥ عَلَى ٱلۡمَآءِ لِيَبۡلُوَكُمۡ أَيُّكُمۡ أَحۡسَنُ عَمَلٗاۗ وَلَئِن قُلۡتَ إِنَّكُم مَّبۡعُوثُونَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ ٱلۡمَوۡتِ لَيَقُولَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْ إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحۡرٞ مُّبِينٞ

    7

    And it is He who created the heavens and the earth in six days - and His Throne had been upon water - that He might test you as to which of you is best in deed. But if you say, "Indeed, you are resurrected after death," those who disbelieve will surely say, "This is not but obvious magic

    ആറുദിവസങ്ങളിലായി (അഥവാ ഘട്ടങ്ങളിലായി) ആകാശങ്ങളും ഭൂമിയും സൃഷ്ടിച്ചത് അവനത്രെ. അവന്‍റെ അര്‍ശ് (സിംഹാസനം) വെള്ളത്തിന്‍മേലായിരുന്നു. നിങ്ങളില്‍ ആരാണ് കര്‍മ്മം കൊണ്ട് ഏറ്റവും നല്ലവന്‍ എന്നറിയുന്നതിന് നിങ്ങളെ പരീക്ഷിക്കുവാന്‍ വേണ്ടിയത്രെ അത്‌. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നിങ്ങള്‍ മരണത്തിന് ശേഷം ഉയിര്‍ത്തെഴുന്നേല്‍പിക്കപ്പെടുന്നവരാണ്‌. എന്ന് നീ പറഞ്ഞാല്‍ അവിശ്വസിച്ചവര്‍ പറയും; ഇത് സ്പഷ്ടമായ ജാലവിദ്യയല്ലാതെ മറ്റൊന്നുമല്ല

  8. وَلَئِنۡ أَخَّرۡنَا عَنۡهُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابَ إِلَىٰٓ أُمَّةٖ مَّعۡدُودَةٖ لَّيَقُولُنَّ مَا يَحۡبِسُهُۥٓۗ أَلَا يَوۡمَ يَأۡتِيهِمۡ لَيۡسَ مَصۡرُوفًا عَنۡهُمۡ وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُواْ بِهِۦ يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ

    8

    And if We hold back from them the punishment for a limited time, they will surely say, "What detains it?" Unquestionably, on the Day it comes to them, it will not be averted from them, and they will be enveloped by what they used to ridicule

    ഒരു നിര്‍ണിത കാലപരിധി വരെ അവരില്‍ നിന്നും നാം ശിക്ഷ മേറ്റീവ്ച്ചാല്‍ അവര്‍ പറയുക തന്നെ ചെയ്യും; അതിനെ തടഞ്ഞു നിര്‍ത്തുന്ന കാര്യമെന്താണ് എന്ന്‌. ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക. അതവര്‍ക്ക് വന്നെത്തുന്ന ദിവസം അതവരില്‍ നിന്ന് തിരിച്ചുകളയപ്പെടുന്നതല്ല. എന്തൊന്നിനെപ്പറ്റി അവര്‍ പരിഹസിച്ചിരുന്നുവോ അതവരില്‍ വന്നെത്തുകയും ചെയ്യും

  9. وَلَئِنۡ أَذَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ مِنَّا رَحۡمَةٗ ثُمَّ نَزَعۡنَٰهَا مِنۡهُ إِنَّهُۥ لَيَـُٔوسٞ كَفُورٞ

    9

    And if We give man a taste of mercy from Us and then We withdraw it from him, indeed, he is despairing and ungrateful

    മനുഷ്യന്ന് നാം നമ്മുടെ പക്കല്‍ നിന്നുള്ള വല്ല കാരുണ്യവും ആസ്വദിപ്പിക്കുകയും, എന്നിട്ട് നാം അതവനില്‍ നിന്ന് എടുത്തുനീക്കുകയും ചെയ്താല്‍ തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവന്‍ നിരാശനും ഏറ്റവും നന്ദികെട്ടവനുമായിരിക്കും

  10. وَلَئِنۡ أَذَقۡنَٰهُ نَعۡمَآءَ بَعۡدَ ضَرَّآءَ مَسَّتۡهُ لَيَقُولَنَّ ذَهَبَ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتُ عَنِّيٓۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَفَرِحٞ فَخُورٌ

    10

    But if We give him a taste of favor after hardship has touched him, he will surely say, "Bad times have left me." Indeed, he is exultant and boastful

    അവന്ന് ഒരു കഷ്ടത ബാധിച്ചതിന് ശേഷം നാമവന്ന് ഒരു അനുഗ്രഹം ആസ്വദിപ്പിച്ചുവെങ്കിലോ നിശ്ചയമായും അവന്‍ പറയും; തിന്‍മകള്‍ എന്നില്‍ നിന്ന് ഒഴിഞ്ഞ് പോയിരിക്കുന്നു എന്ന്‌. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവന്‍ ആഹ്ലാദഭരിതനും അഹങ്കാരിയുമാകുന്നു

  11. إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ صَبَرُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُم مَّغۡفِرَةٞ وَأَجۡرٞ كَبِيرٞ

    11

    Except for those who are patient and do righteous deeds; those will have forgiveness and great reward

    ക്ഷമിക്കുകയും സല്‍കര്‍മ്മങ്ങള്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തവരൊഴികെ. അവര്‍ക്കാകുന്നു പാപമോചനവും വലിയ പ്രതിഫലവുമുള്ളത്‌

  12. فَلَعَلَّكَ تَارِكُۢ بَعۡضَ مَا يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَيۡكَ وَضَآئِقُۢ بِهِۦ صَدۡرُكَ أَن يَقُولُواْ لَوۡلَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيۡهِ كَنزٌ أَوۡ جَآءَ مَعَهُۥ مَلَكٌۚ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ نَذِيرٞۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ وَكِيلٌ

    12

    Then would you possibly leave [out] some of what is revealed to you, or is your breast constrained by it because they say, "Why has there not been sent down to him a treasure or come with him an angel?" But you are only a warner. And Allah is Disposer of all things

    ഇയാള്‍ക്ക് ഒരു നിധി ഇറക്കപ്പെടുകയോ, ഇയാളോടൊപ്പം ഒരു മലക്ക് വരികയോ ചെയ്യാത്തതെന്ത് എന്ന് (നിന്നെപറ്റി) അവര്‍ പറയുന്ന കാരണത്താല്‍ നിനക്ക് നല്‍കപ്പെടുന്ന സന്ദേശങ്ങളില്‍ ചിലത് നീ വിട്ടുകളയുകയും, അതിന്‍റെ പേരില്‍ നിനക്ക് മനഃപ്രയാസമുണ്ടാകുകയും ചെയ്തേക്കാം. എന്നാല്‍ നീ ഒരു താക്കീതുകാരന്‍ മാത്രമാകുന്നു. അല്ലാഹു എല്ലാകാര്യത്തിന്‍റെയും സംരക്ഷണമേറ്റവനാകുന്നു

  13. أَمۡ يَقُولُونَ ٱفۡتَرَىٰهُۖ قُلۡ فَأۡتُواْ بِعَشۡرِ سُوَرٖ مِّثۡلِهِۦ مُفۡتَرَيَٰتٖ وَٱدۡعُواْ مَنِ ٱسۡتَطَعۡتُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ

    13

    Or do they say, "He invented it"? Say, "Then bring ten surahs like it that have been invented and call upon [for assistance] whomever you can besides Allah, if you should be truthful

    അതല്ല, അദ്ദേഹം അത് കെട്ടിച്ചമച്ചു എന്നാണോ അവര്‍ പറയുന്നത്‌? പറയുക: എന്നാല്‍ ഇതുപേലെയുള്ള പത്ത് അദ്ധ്യായങ്ങള്‍ ചമച്ചുണ്ടാക്കിയത് നിങ്ങള്‍ കൊണ്ട് വരൂ. അല്ലാഹുവിന് പുറമെ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് സാധിക്കുന്നവരെയെല്ലാം നിങ്ങള്‍ വിളിച്ചുകൊള്ളുകയും ചെയ്യുക. നിങ്ങള്‍ സത്യവാന്‍മാരാണെങ്കില്‍

  14. فَإِلَّمۡ يَسۡتَجِيبُواْ لَكُمۡ فَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّمَآ أُنزِلَ بِعِلۡمِ ٱللَّهِ وَأَن لَّآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۖ فَهَلۡ أَنتُم مُّسۡلِمُونَ

    14

    And if they do not respond to you - then know that the Qur'an was revealed with the knowledge of Allah and that there is no deity except Him. Then, would you [not] be Muslims

    അവരാരും നിങ്ങളുടെ വിളിക്ക് ഉത്തരം നല്‍കിയില്ലെങ്കില്‍, അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ അറിവോട് കൂടി മാത്രമാണ് ഇത് അവതരിപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുള്ളതെന്നും, അവനല്ലാതെ യാതൊരു ദൈവവുമില്ലെന്നും നിങ്ങള്‍ മനസ്സിലാക്കുക. ഇനിയെങ്കിലും നിങ്ങള്‍ കീഴ്പെടാന്‍ സന്നദ്ധരാണോ

  15. مَن كَانَ يُرِيدُ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَزِينَتَهَا نُوَفِّ إِلَيۡهِمۡ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ فِيهَا وَهُمۡ فِيهَا لَا يُبۡخَسُونَ

    15

    Whoever desires the life of this world and its adornments - We fully repay them for their deeds therein, and they therein will not be deprived

    ഐഹികജീവിതത്തെയും അതിന്‍റെ അലങ്കാരത്തെയുമാണ് ആരെങ്കിലും ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നതെങ്കില്‍ അവരുടെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ അവിടെ (ഇഹലോകത്ത്‌) വെച്ച് അവര്‍ക്ക് നാം നിറവേറ്റികൊടുക്കുന്നതാണ്‌. അവര്‍ക്കവിടെ യാതൊരു കുറവും വരുത്തപ്പെടുകയില്ല

  16. أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَيۡسَ لَهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ إِلَّا ٱلنَّارُۖ وَحَبِطَ مَا صَنَعُواْ فِيهَا وَبَٰطِلٞ مَّا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ

    16

    Those are the ones for whom there is not in the Hereafter but the Fire. And lost is what they did therein, and worthless is what they used to do

    പരലോകത്ത് നരകമല്ലാതെ മറ്റൊന്നും കിട്ടാനില്ലാത്തവരാകുന്നു അക്കൂട്ടര്‍. അവര്‍ ഇവിടെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചതെല്ലാം പൊളിഞ്ഞുപോയിരിക്കുന്നു. അവര്‍ ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നതെല്ലാം ഫലശൂന്യമത്രെ

  17. أَفَمَن كَانَ عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَةٖ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦ وَيَتۡلُوهُ شَاهِدٞ مِّنۡهُ وَمِن قَبۡلِهِۦ كِتَٰبُ مُوسَىٰٓ إِمَامٗا وَرَحۡمَةًۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِهِۦۚ وَمَن يَكۡفُرۡ بِهِۦ مِنَ ٱلۡأَحۡزَابِ فَٱلنَّارُ مَوۡعِدُهُۥۚ فَلَا تَكُ فِي مِرۡيَةٖ مِّنۡهُۚ إِنَّهُ ٱلۡحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكَ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ

    17

    So is one who [stands] upon a clear evidence from his Lord [like the aforementioned]? And a witness from Him follows it, and before it was the Scripture of Moses to lead and as mercy. Those [believers in the former revelations] believe in the Qur'an. But whoever disbelieves in it from the [various] factions - the Fire is his promised destination. So be not in doubt about it. Indeed, it is the truth from your Lord, but most of the people do not believe

    എന്നാല്‍ ഒരാള്‍ തന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിങ്കല്‍ നിന്ന് ലഭിച്ച വ്യക്തമായ തെളിവിനെ അവലംബിക്കുന്നു. അവങ്കല്‍ നിന്നുള്ള ഒരു സാക്ഷി (ഖുര്‍ആന്‍) അതിനെ തുടര്‍ന്ന് വരുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. അതിന് മുമ്പ് മാതൃകയും കാരുണ്യവുമായിക്കൊണ്ട് മൂസായുടെ ഗ്രന്ഥം വന്നിട്ടുമുണ്ട്‌. (അങ്ങനെയുള്ള ഒരാള്‍ ആ ദുന്‍യാ പ്രേമികളെ പോലെ ഖുര്‍ആന്‍ നിഷേധിക്കുമോ? ഇല്ല.) അത്തരക്കാര്‍ അതില്‍ വിശ്വസിക്കും. വിവിധ സംഘങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്ന് അതില്‍ അവിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവരാരോ അവരുടെ വാഗ്ദത്തസ്ഥാനം നരകമാകുന്നു. ആകയാല്‍ നീ അതിനെപ്പറ്റി സംശയത്തിലാവരുത്‌. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അത് നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിങ്കല്‍ നിന്നുള്ള സത്യമാകുന്നു. പക്ഷെ ജനങ്ങളില്‍ അധികപേരും വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നില്ല

  18. وَمَنۡ أَظۡلَمُ مِمَّنِ ٱفۡتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًاۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ يُعۡرَضُونَ عَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمۡ وَيَقُولُ ٱلۡأَشۡهَٰدُ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَبُواْ عَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمۡۚ أَلَا لَعۡنَةُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَى ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

    18

    And who is more unjust than he who invents a lie about Allah? Those will be presented before their Lord, and the witnesses will say, "These are the ones who lied against their Lord." Unquestionably, the curse of Allah is upon the wrongdoers

    അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ പേരില്‍ കള്ളം കെട്ടിച്ചമച്ചവനേക്കാള്‍ അക്രമിയായി ആരുണ്ട്‌? അവര്‍ അവരുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്‍റെ മുമ്പില്‍ ഹാജരാക്കപ്പെടുന്നതാണ്‌. സാക്ഷികള്‍ പറയും: ഇവരാകുന്നു തങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്‍റെ പേരില്‍ കള്ളം പറഞ്ഞവര്‍, ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക: അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ ശാപം ആ അക്രമികളുടെ മേലുണ്ടായിരിക്കും

  19. ٱلَّذِينَ يَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَيَبۡغُونَهَا عِوَجٗا وَهُم بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ هُمۡ كَٰفِرُونَ

    19

    Who averted [people] from the way of Allah and sought to make it [seem] deviant while they, concerning the Hereafter, were disbelievers

    അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ മാര്‍ഗത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് തടയുകയും, അതിന് വക്രത വരുത്താന്‍ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവരത്രെ അവര്‍. അവരാകട്ടെ പരലോകത്തില്‍ വിശ്വാസമില്ലാത്തവരുമാണ്‌

  20. أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ لَمۡ يَكُونُواْ مُعۡجِزِينَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا كَانَ لَهُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مِنۡ أَوۡلِيَآءَۘ يُضَٰعَفُ لَهُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُۚ مَا كَانُواْ يَسۡتَطِيعُونَ ٱلسَّمۡعَ وَمَا كَانُواْ يُبۡصِرُونَ

    20

    Those were not causing failure [to Allah] on earth, nor did they have besides Allah any protectors. For them the punishment will be multiplied. They were not able to hear, nor did they see

    അക്കൂട്ടര്‍ ഭൂമിയില്‍ (അല്ലാഹുവെ) തോല്‍പിക്കാന്‍ കഴിയുന്നവരായിട്ടില്ല. അല്ലാഹുവിന് പുറമെ അവര്‍ക്ക് രക്ഷാധികാരികളാരും ഉണ്ടായിട്ടുമില്ല. അവര്‍ക്ക് ശിക്ഷ ഇരട്ടിപ്പിക്കപ്പെടുന്നതാണ്‌. അവര്‍ കേള്‍ക്കാന്‍ കഴിയുന്നവരായില്ല. അവര്‍ കണ്ടറിയുന്നവരുമായില്ല

  21. أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ خَسِرُوٓاْ أَنفُسَهُمۡ وَضَلَّ عَنۡهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَفۡتَرُونَ

    21

    Those are the ones who will have lost themselves, and lost from them is what they used to invent

    അത്തരക്കാരാകുന്നു ആത്മനഷ്ടം പറ്റിയവര്‍. അവര്‍ കെട്ടിച്ചമച്ചിരുന്നതെല്ലാം അവരെ വിട്ടുമാറിക്കളയുകയും ചെയ്തു

  22. لَا جَرَمَ أَنَّهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ هُمُ ٱلۡأَخۡسَرُونَ

    22

    Assuredly, it is they in the Hereafter who will be the greatest losers

    നിസ്സംശയം, അവര്‍ തന്നെയാണ് പരലോകത്തില്‍ ഏറ്റവും നഷ്ടം പറ്റിയവര്‍

  23. إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ وَأَخۡبَتُوٓاْ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمۡ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡجَنَّةِۖ هُمۡ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ

    23

    Indeed, they who have believed and done righteous deeds and humbled themselves to their Lord - those are the companions of Paradise; they will abide eternally therein

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും വിശ്വസിക്കുകയും സല്‍കര്‍മ്മങ്ങള്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുകയും, തങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിങ്കലേക്ക് വിനയപൂര്‍വ്വം മടങ്ങുകയും ചെയ്തവരാരോ അവരാകുന്നു സ്വര്‍ഗാവകാശികള്‍. അവരതില്‍ നിത്യവാസികളായിരിക്കും

  24. ۞مَثَلُ ٱلۡفَرِيقَيۡنِ كَٱلۡأَعۡمَىٰ وَٱلۡأَصَمِّ وَٱلۡبَصِيرِ وَٱلسَّمِيعِۚ هَلۡ يَسۡتَوِيَانِ مَثَلًاۚ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ

    24

    The example of the two parties is like the blind and deaf, and the seeing and hearing. Are they equal in comparison? Then, will you not remember

    ഈ രണ്ട് വിഭാഗങ്ങളുടെയും ഉപമ അന്ധനും ബധിരനുമായ ഒരാളെപ്പോലെയും, കാഴ്ചയും കേള്‍വിയുമുള്ള മറ്റൊരാളെപ്പോലെയുമാകുന്നു. ഇവര്‍ ഇരുവരും ഉപമയില്‍ തുല്യരാകുമോ? അപ്പോള്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ ചിന്തിച്ചുനോക്കുന്നില്ലേ

  25. وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوۡمِهِۦٓ إِنِّي لَكُمۡ نَذِيرٞ مُّبِينٌ

    25

    And We had certainly sent Noah to his people, [saying], "Indeed, I am to you a clear warner

    നൂഹിനെ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്‍റെ ജനതയിലേക്ക് നാം നിയോഗിക്കുകയുണ്ടായി. (അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു:) തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഞാന്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് സ്പഷ്ടമായ താക്കീത് നല്‍കുന്നവനാകുന്നു

  26. أَن لَّا تَعۡبُدُوٓاْ إِلَّا ٱللَّهَۖ إِنِّيٓ أَخَافُ عَلَيۡكُمۡ عَذَابَ يَوۡمٍ أَلِيمٖ

    26

    That you not worship except Allah. Indeed, I fear for you the punishment of a painful day

    എന്തെന്നാല്‍ അല്ലാഹുവെയല്ലാതെ നിങ്ങള്‍ ആരാധിക്കരുത്‌. വേദനയേറിയ ഒരു ദിവസത്തെ ശിക്ഷ നിങ്ങളുടെ മേല്‍ തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഞാന്‍ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നു

  27. فَقَالَ ٱلۡمَلَأُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِن قَوۡمِهِۦ مَا نَرَىٰكَ إِلَّا بَشَرٗا مِّثۡلَنَا وَمَا نَرَىٰكَ ٱتَّبَعَكَ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ أَرَاذِلُنَا بَادِيَ ٱلرَّأۡيِ وَمَا نَرَىٰ لَكُمۡ عَلَيۡنَا مِن فَضۡلِۭ بَلۡ نَظُنُّكُمۡ كَٰذِبِينَ

    27

    So the eminent among those who disbelieved from his people said, "We do not see you but as a man like ourselves, and we do not see you followed except by those who are the lowest of us [and] at first suggestion. And we do not see in you over us any merit; rather, we think you are liars

    അപ്പോള്‍ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്‍റെ ജനതയില്‍ നിന്ന് അവിശ്വസിച്ചവരായ പ്രമാണിമാര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു: ഞങ്ങളെപോലെയുള്ള മനുഷ്യനായിട്ട് മാത്രമേ നിന്നെ ഞങ്ങള്‍ കാണുന്നുള്ളൂ. ഞങ്ങളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില്‍ ഏറ്റവും നിസ്സാരന്‍മാരായിട്ടുള്ളവര്‍ പ്രഥമവീക്ഷണത്തില്‍ (ശരിയായി ചിന്തിക്കാതെ) നിന്നെ പിന്തുടര്‍ന്നതായിട്ട് മാത്രമാണ് ഞങ്ങള്‍ കാണുന്നത്‌. നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ഞങ്ങളെക്കാള്‍ യാതൊരു ശ്രേഷ്ഠതയും ഞങ്ങള്‍ കാണുന്നുമില്ല. പ്രത്യുത, നിങ്ങള്‍ വ്യാജവാദികളാണെന്ന് ഞങ്ങള്‍ കരുതുന്നു

  28. قَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ أَرَءَيۡتُمۡ إِن كُنتُ عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَةٖ مِّن رَّبِّي وَءَاتَىٰنِي رَحۡمَةٗ مِّنۡ عِندِهِۦ فَعُمِّيَتۡ عَلَيۡكُمۡ أَنُلۡزِمُكُمُوهَا وَأَنتُمۡ لَهَا كَٰرِهُونَ

    28

    He said, "O my people have you considered: if I should be upon clear evidence from my Lord while He has given me mercy from Himself but it has been made unapparent to you, should we force it upon you while you are averse to it

    അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: എന്‍റെ ജനങ്ങളേ, നിങ്ങള്‍ ചിന്തിച്ച് നോക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ടോ? ഞാന്‍ എന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിങ്കല്‍ നിന്നുള്ള വ്യക്തമായ തെളിവിനെ അവലംബിക്കുന്നവനായിരിക്കുകയും അവന്‍റെ അടുക്കല്‍ നിന്നുള്ള കാരുണ്യം അവന്‍ എനിക്ക് തന്നിരിക്കുകയും, എന്നിട്ട് നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് (അത് കണ്ടറിയാനാവാത്ത വിധം) അന്ധത വരുത്തപ്പെടുകയുമാണ് ഉണ്ടായിട്ടുള്ളതെങ്കില്‍ (ഞാന്‍ എന്ത് ചെയ്യും?) നിങ്ങള്‍ അത് ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടാത്തവരായിരിക്കെ നിങ്ങളുടെ മേല്‍ നാം അതിന് നിര്‍ബന്ധം ചെലുത്തുകയോ

  29. وَيَٰقَوۡمِ لَآ أَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ مَالًاۖ إِنۡ أَجۡرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَى ٱللَّهِۚ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ بِطَارِدِ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْۚ إِنَّهُم مُّلَٰقُواْ رَبِّهِمۡ وَلَٰكِنِّيٓ أَرَىٰكُمۡ قَوۡمٗا تَجۡهَلُونَ

    29

    And O my people, I ask not of you for it any wealth. My reward is not but from Allah. And I am not one to drive away those who have believed. Indeed, they will meet their Lord, but I see that you are a people behaving ignorantly

    എന്‍റെ ജനങ്ങളേ, ഇതിന്‍റെ പേരില്‍ നിങ്ങളോട് ഞാന്‍ ധനം ചോദിക്കുന്നില്ല. എനിക്കുള്ള പ്രതിഫലം അല്ലാഹു തരേണ്ടത് മാത്രമാകുന്നു. വിശ്വസിച്ചവരെ ഞാന്‍ ആട്ടിയോടിക്കുന്നതല്ല. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവര്‍ അവരുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിനെ കണ്ടുമുട്ടാന്‍ പോകുന്നവരാണ്‌. എന്നാല്‍ ഞാന്‍ നിങ്ങളെ കാണുന്നത് വിവരമില്ലാത്ത ഒരു ജനവിഭാഗമായിട്ടാണ്‌

  30. وَيَٰقَوۡمِ مَن يَنصُرُنِي مِنَ ٱللَّهِ إِن طَرَدتُّهُمۡۚ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ

    30

    And O my people, who would protect me from Allah if I drove them away? Then will you not be reminded

    എന്‍റെ ജനങ്ങളേ, ഞാനവരെ ആട്ടിയോടിക്കുന്ന പക്ഷം അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ ശിക്ഷയില്‍ നിന്ന് എന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കുവാനാരാണുള്ളത്‌. നിങ്ങള്‍ ആലോചിച്ച് നോക്കുന്നില്ലേ

  31. وَلَآ أَقُولُ لَكُمۡ عِندِي خَزَآئِنُ ٱللَّهِ وَلَآ أَعۡلَمُ ٱلۡغَيۡبَ وَلَآ أَقُولُ إِنِّي مَلَكٞ وَلَآ أَقُولُ لِلَّذِينَ تَزۡدَرِيٓ أَعۡيُنُكُمۡ لَن يُؤۡتِيَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ خَيۡرًاۖ ٱللَّهُ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَا فِيٓ أَنفُسِهِمۡ إِنِّيٓ إِذٗا لَّمِنَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

    31

    And I do not tell you that I have the depositories [containing the provision] of Allah or that I know the unseen, nor do I tell you that I am an angel, nor do I say of those upon whom your eyes look down that Allah will never grant them any good. Allah is most knowing of what is within their souls. Indeed, I would then be among the wrongdoers

    അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ ഖജനാവുകള്‍ എന്‍റെ പക്കലുണ്ടെന്ന് ഞാന്‍ നിങ്ങളോട് പറയുന്നുമില്ല. ഞാന്‍ അദൃശ്യകാര്യം അറിയുകയുമില്ല. നിങ്ങളുടെ കണ്ണുകള്‍ നിസ്സാരമായി കാണുന്നവരെപറ്റി, അവര്‍ക്ക് അല്ലാഹു യാതൊരു ഗുണവും നല്‍കുന്നതേയല്ല എന്നും ഞാന്‍ പറയുകയില്ല. അല്ലാഹുവാണ് അവരുടെ മനസ്സുകളിലുള്ളതിനെപ്പറ്റി നല്ലവണ്ണം അറിയുന്നവന്‍. അപ്പോള്‍ (അവരെ ദുഷിച്ച് പറയുന്ന പക്ഷം) തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഞാന്‍ അക്രമികളില്‍ പെട്ടവനായിരിക്കും

  32. قَالُواْ يَٰنُوحُ قَدۡ جَٰدَلۡتَنَا فَأَكۡثَرۡتَ جِدَٰلَنَا فَأۡتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَآ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ

    32

    They said, "O Noah, you have disputed us and been frequent in dispute of us. So bring us what you threaten us, if you should be of the truthful

    അവര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു: നൂഹേ, നീ ഞങ്ങളോട് തര്‍ക്കിച്ചു. വളരെയേറെ തര്‍ക്കിച്ചു. എന്നാല്‍ നീ സത്യവാന്‍മാരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിലാണെങ്കില്‍ നീ ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് താക്കീത് നല്‍കിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നത് (ശിക്ഷ) ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് നീ ഇങ്ങു കൊണ്ട് വരൂ

  33. قَالَ إِنَّمَا يَأۡتِيكُم بِهِ ٱللَّهُ إِن شَآءَ وَمَآ أَنتُم بِمُعۡجِزِينَ

    33

    He said, "Allah will only bring it to you if He wills, and you will not cause [Him] failure

    അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: അല്ലാഹു മാത്രമാണ് നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കത് കൊണ്ട് വരുക; അവന്‍ ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചെങ്കില്‍, നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് (അവനെ) തോല്‍പിച്ച് കളയാനാവില്ല

  34. وَلَا يَنفَعُكُمۡ نُصۡحِيٓ إِنۡ أَرَدتُّ أَنۡ أَنصَحَ لَكُمۡ إِن كَانَ ٱللَّهُ يُرِيدُ أَن يُغۡوِيَكُمۡۚ هُوَ رَبُّكُمۡ وَإِلَيۡهِ تُرۡجَعُونَ

    34

    And my advice will not benefit you - although I wished to advise you - If Allah should intend to put you in error. He is your Lord, and to Him you will be returned

    അല്ലാഹു നിങ്ങളെ വഴിതെറ്റിച്ചുവിടാന്‍ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്ന പക്ഷം ഞാന്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ഉപദേശം നല്‍കാന്‍ ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചാലും എന്‍റെ ഉപദേശം നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് പ്രയോജനപ്പെടുകയില്ല. അവനാണ് നിങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവ്‌. അവങ്കലേക്കാണ് നിങ്ങള്‍ മടക്കപ്പെടുന്നത്‌

  35. أَمۡ يَقُولُونَ ٱفۡتَرَىٰهُۖ قُلۡ إِنِ ٱفۡتَرَيۡتُهُۥ فَعَلَيَّ إِجۡرَامِي وَأَنَا۠ بَرِيٓءٞ مِّمَّا تُجۡرِمُونَ

    35

    Or do they say [about Prophet Muhammad], "He invented it"? Say, "If I have invented it, then upon me is [the consequence of] my crime; but I am innocent of what [crimes] you commit

    അതല്ല, അദ്ദേഹമത് കെട്ടിച്ചമച്ചു എന്നാണോ അവര്‍ പറയുന്നത്‌? പറയുക: ഞാനത് കെട്ടിച്ചമച്ചുവെങ്കില്‍ ഞാന്‍ കുറ്റം ചെയ്യുന്നതിന്‍റെ ദോഷം എനിക്കു തന്നെയായിരിക്കും. നിങ്ങള്‍ ചെയ്യുന്ന കുറ്റത്തിന്‍റെ കാര്യത്തില്‍ ഞാന്‍ നിരപരാധിയുമാണ്‌

  36. وَأُوحِيَ إِلَىٰ نُوحٍ أَنَّهُۥ لَن يُؤۡمِنَ مِن قَوۡمِكَ إِلَّا مَن قَدۡ ءَامَنَ فَلَا تَبۡتَئِسۡ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَفۡعَلُونَ

    36

    And it was revealed to Noah that, "No one will believe from your people except those who have already believed, so do not be distressed by what they have been doing

    നിന്‍റെ ജനതയില്‍ നിന്ന് വിശ്വസിച്ചുകഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടുള്ളവരല്ലാതെ ഇനിയാരും വിശ്വസിക്കുകയേയില്ല. അതിനാല്‍ അവര്‍ ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നതിനെപ്പറ്റി നീ സങ്കടപ്പെടരുത് എന്ന് നൂഹിന് സന്ദേശം നല്‍കപ്പെട്ടു

  37. وَٱصۡنَعِ ٱلۡفُلۡكَ بِأَعۡيُنِنَا وَوَحۡيِنَا وَلَا تُخَٰطِبۡنِي فِي ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوٓاْ إِنَّهُم مُّغۡرَقُونَ

    37

    And construct the ship under Our observation and Our inspiration and do not address Me concerning those who have wronged; indeed, they are [to be] drowned

    നമ്മുടെ മേല്‍നോട്ടത്തിലും, നമ്മുടെ നിര്‍ദേശപ്രകാരവും നീ കപ്പല്‍ നിര്‍മിക്കുക. അക്രമം ചെയ്തവരുടെ കാര്യത്തില്‍ നീ എന്നോട് സംസാരിക്കരുത്‌. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവര്‍ മുക്കി നശിപ്പിക്കപ്പെടാന്‍ പോകുകയാണ്‌

  38. وَيَصۡنَعُ ٱلۡفُلۡكَ وَكُلَّمَا مَرَّ عَلَيۡهِ مَلَأٞ مِّن قَوۡمِهِۦ سَخِرُواْ مِنۡهُۚ قَالَ إِن تَسۡخَرُواْ مِنَّا فَإِنَّا نَسۡخَرُ مِنكُمۡ كَمَا تَسۡخَرُونَ

    38

    And he constructed the ship, and whenever an assembly of the eminent of his people passed by him, they ridiculed him. He said, "If you ridicule us, then we will ridicule you just as you ridicule

    അദ്ദേഹം കപ്പല്‍ നിര്‍മിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്‍റെ ജനതയിലെ ഓരോ പ്രമാണിക്കൂട്ടം അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്‍റെ അടുത്ത് കൂടി കടന്ന് പോയപ്പോഴല്ലാം അദ്ദേഹത്തെ പരിഹസിച്ചു. അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: നിങ്ങള്‍ ഞങ്ങളെ പരിഹസിക്കുന്ന പക്ഷം തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നിങ്ങള്‍ പരിഹസിക്കുന്നത് പോലെത്തന്നെ ഞങ്ങള്‍ നിങ്ങളെയും പരിഹസിക്കുന്നതാണ്‌

  39. فَسَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ مَن يَأۡتِيهِ عَذَابٞ يُخۡزِيهِ وَيَحِلُّ عَلَيۡهِ عَذَابٞ مُّقِيمٌ

    39

    And you are going to know who will get a punishment that will disgrace him [on earth] and upon whom will descend an enduring punishment [in the Hereafter]

    അപമാനകരമായ ശിക്ഷ ആര്‍ക്കാണ് വന്നെത്തുന്നതെന്നും, സ്ഥിരമായ ശിക്ഷ ആരുടെ മേലാണ് വന്നുഭവിക്കുന്നതെന്നും നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് വഴിയെ അറിയാം

  40. حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءَ أَمۡرُنَا وَفَارَ ٱلتَّنُّورُ قُلۡنَا ٱحۡمِلۡ فِيهَا مِن كُلّٖ زَوۡجَيۡنِ ٱثۡنَيۡنِ وَأَهۡلَكَ إِلَّا مَن سَبَقَ عَلَيۡهِ ٱلۡقَوۡلُ وَمَنۡ ءَامَنَۚ وَمَآ ءَامَنَ مَعَهُۥٓ إِلَّا قَلِيلٞ

    40

    [So it was], until when Our command came and the oven overflowed, We said, "Load upon the ship of each [creature] two mates and your family, except those about whom the word has preceded, and [include] whoever has believed." But none had believed with him, except a few

    അങ്ങനെ നമ്മുടെ കല്‍പന വരികയും അടുപ്പ് ഉറവപൊട്ടി ഒഴുകുകയും ചെയ്തപ്പോള്‍ നാം പറഞ്ഞു: എല്ലാ വര്‍ഗത്തില്‍ നിന്നും രണ്ട് ഇണകളെ വീതവും, നിന്‍റെ കുടുംബാംഗങ്ങളെയും അതില്‍ കയറ്റികൊള്ളുക. (അവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില്‍ നിന്ന്‌) ആര്‍ക്കെതിരില്‍ (ശിക്ഷയുടെ) വചനം മുന്‍കൂട്ടി ഉണ്ടായിട്ടുണ്ടോ അവരൊഴികെ. വിശ്വസിച്ചവരെയും (കയറ്റികൊള്ളുക.) അദ്ദേഹത്തോടൊപ്പം കുറച്ച് പേരല്ലാതെ വിശ്വസിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല

  41. ۞وَقَالَ ٱرۡكَبُواْ فِيهَا بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ مَجۡرٜىٰهَا وَمُرۡسَىٰهَآۚ إِنَّ رَبِّي لَغَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ

    41

    And [Noah] said, "Embark therein; in the name of Allah is its course and its anchorage. Indeed, my Lord is Forgiving and Merciful

    അദ്ദേഹം (അവരോട്‌) പറഞ്ഞു: നിങ്ങളതില്‍ കയറിക്കൊള്ളുക. അതിന്‍റെ ഓട്ടവും നിര്‍ത്തവും അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ പേരിലാകുന്നു. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും എന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് ഏറെ പൊറുക്കുന്നവനും കരുണാനിധിയുമാണ്‌

  42. وَهِيَ تَجۡرِي بِهِمۡ فِي مَوۡجٖ كَٱلۡجِبَالِ وَنَادَىٰ نُوحٌ ٱبۡنَهُۥ وَكَانَ فِي مَعۡزِلٖ يَٰبُنَيَّ ٱرۡكَب مَّعَنَا وَلَا تَكُن مَّعَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ

    42

    And it sailed with them through waves like mountains, and Noah called to his son who was apart [from them], "O my son, come aboard with us and be not with the disbelievers

    പര്‍വ്വതതുല്യമായ തിരമാലകള്‍ക്കിടയിലൂടെ അത് (കപ്പല്‍) അവരെയും കൊണ്ട് സഞ്ചരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുകയാണ്‌. നൂഹ് തന്‍റെ മകനെ വിളിച്ചു. അവന്‍ അകലെ ഒരു സ്ഥലത്തായിരുന്നു. എന്‍റെ കുഞ്ഞുമകനേ, നീ ഞങ്ങളോടൊപ്പം കയറിക്കൊള്ളുക. നീ സത്യനിഷേധികളുടെ കൂടെ ആയിപ്പോകരുത്‌

  43. قَالَ سَـَٔاوِيٓ إِلَىٰ جَبَلٖ يَعۡصِمُنِي مِنَ ٱلۡمَآءِۚ قَالَ لَا عَاصِمَ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ مِنۡ أَمۡرِ ٱللَّهِ إِلَّا مَن رَّحِمَۚ وَحَالَ بَيۡنَهُمَا ٱلۡمَوۡجُ فَكَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُغۡرَقِينَ

    43

    [But] he said, "I will take refuge on a mountain to protect me from the water." [Noah] said, "There is no protector today from the decree of Allah, except for whom He gives mercy." And the waves came between them, and he was among the drowned

    അവന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു: വെള്ളത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് എനിക്ക് രക്ഷനല്‍കുന്ന വല്ല മലയിലും ഞാന്‍ അഭയം പ്രാപിച്ചുകൊള്ളാം. അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ കല്‍പനയില്‍ നിന്ന് ഇന്ന് രക്ഷനല്‍കാന്‍ ആരുമില്ല; അവന്‍ കരുണ ചെയ്തവര്‍ക്കൊഴികെ. (അപ്പോഴേക്കും) അവര്‍ രണ്ട് പേര്‍ക്കുമിടയില്‍ തിരമാല മറയിട്ടു. അങ്ങനെ അവന്‍ മുക്കി നശിപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിലായി

  44. وَقِيلَ يَـٰٓأَرۡضُ ٱبۡلَعِي مَآءَكِ وَيَٰسَمَآءُ أَقۡلِعِي وَغِيضَ ٱلۡمَآءُ وَقُضِيَ ٱلۡأَمۡرُ وَٱسۡتَوَتۡ عَلَى ٱلۡجُودِيِّۖ وَقِيلَ بُعۡدٗا لِّلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

    44

    And it was said, "O earth, swallow your water, and O sky, withhold [your rain]." And the water subsided, and the matter was accomplished, and the ship came to rest on the [mountain of] Judiyy. And it was said, "Away with the wrongdoing people

    ഭൂമീ! നിന്‍റെ വെള്ളം നീ വിഴുങ്ങൂ. ആകാശമേ! മഴ നിര്‍ത്തൂ! എന്ന് കല്‍പന നല്‍കപ്പെട്ടു. വെള്ളം വറ്റുകയും ഉത്തരവ് നിറവേറ്റപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്തു. അത് (കപ്പല്‍) ജൂദി പര്‍വ്വതത്തിന് മേല്‍ ഉറച്ചുനില്‍ക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. അക്രമികളായ ജനതയ്ക്ക് നാശം എന്ന് പറയപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്തു

  45. وَنَادَىٰ نُوحٞ رَّبَّهُۥ فَقَالَ رَبِّ إِنَّ ٱبۡنِي مِنۡ أَهۡلِي وَإِنَّ وَعۡدَكَ ٱلۡحَقُّ وَأَنتَ أَحۡكَمُ ٱلۡحَٰكِمِينَ

    45

    And Noah called to his Lord and said, "My Lord, indeed my son is of my family; and indeed, Your promise is true; and You are the most just of judges

    നൂഹ് തന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിനെ വിളിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് പറഞ്ഞു: എന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവേ, എന്‍റെ മകന്‍ എന്‍റെ കുടുംബാംഗങ്ങളില്‍ പെട്ടവന്‍ തന്നെയാണല്ലോ. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നിന്‍റെ വാഗ്ദാനം സത്യമാണുതാനും. നീ വിധികര്‍ത്താക്കളില്‍ വെച്ച് ഏറ്റവും നല്ല വിധികര്‍ത്താവുമാണ്‌

  46. قَالَ يَٰنُوحُ إِنَّهُۥ لَيۡسَ مِنۡ أَهۡلِكَۖ إِنَّهُۥ عَمَلٌ غَيۡرُ صَٰلِحٖۖ فَلَا تَسۡـَٔلۡنِ مَا لَيۡسَ لَكَ بِهِۦ عِلۡمٌۖ إِنِّيٓ أَعِظُكَ أَن تَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡجَٰهِلِينَ

    46

    He said, "O Noah, indeed he is not of your family; indeed, he is [one whose] work was other than righteous, so ask Me not for that about which you have no knowledge. Indeed, I advise you, lest you be among the ignorant

    അവന്‍ (അല്ലാഹു) പറഞ്ഞു: നൂഹേ, തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവന്‍ നിന്‍റെ കുടുംബത്തില്‍ പെട്ടവനല്ല. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവന്‍ ശരിയല്ലാത്തത് ചെയ്തവനാണ്‌. അതിനാല്‍ നിനക്ക് അറിവില്ലാത്ത കാര്യം എന്നോട് ആവശ്യപ്പെടരുത്‌. നീ വിവരമില്ലാത്തവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിലായിപോകരുതെന്ന് ഞാന്‍ നിന്നോട് ഉപദേശിക്കുകയാണ്‌

  47. قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّيٓ أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنۡ أَسۡـَٔلَكَ مَا لَيۡسَ لِي بِهِۦ عِلۡمٞۖ وَإِلَّا تَغۡفِرۡ لِي وَتَرۡحَمۡنِيٓ أَكُن مِّنَ ٱلۡخَٰسِرِينَ

    47

    [Noah] said, "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from asking that of which I have no knowledge. And unless You forgive me and have mercy upon me, I will be among the losers

    അദ്ദേഹം (നൂഹ്‌) പറഞ്ഞു: എന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവേ, എനിക്ക് അറിവില്ലാത്ത കാര്യം നിന്നോട് ആവശ്യപ്പെടുന്നതില്‍ നിന്ന് ഞാന്‍ നിന്നോട് ശരണം തേടുന്നു. നീ എനിക്ക് പൊറുത്തുതരികയും, നീ എന്നോട് കരുണ കാണിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യാത്ത പക്ഷം ഞാന്‍ നഷ്ടക്കാരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിലായിരിക്കും

  48. قِيلَ يَٰنُوحُ ٱهۡبِطۡ بِسَلَٰمٖ مِّنَّا وَبَرَكَٰتٍ عَلَيۡكَ وَعَلَىٰٓ أُمَمٖ مِّمَّن مَّعَكَۚ وَأُمَمٞ سَنُمَتِّعُهُمۡ ثُمَّ يَمَسُّهُم مِّنَّا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ

    48

    It was said, "O Noah, disembark in security from Us and blessings upon you and upon nations [descending] from those with you. But other nations [of them] We will grant enjoyment; then there will touch them from Us a painful punishment

    (അദ്ദേഹത്തോട്‌) പറയപ്പെട്ടു: നൂഹേ, നമ്മുടെ പക്കല്‍ നിന്നുള്ള ശാന്തിയോടുകൂടിയും, നിനക്കും നിന്‍റെ കൂടെയുള്ളവരില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള സമൂഹങ്ങള്‍ക്കും അനുഗ്രഹങ്ങളോടുകൂടിയും നീ ഇറങ്ങിക്കൊള്ളുക. എന്നാല്‍ (വേറെ) ചില സമൂഹങ്ങളുണ്ട്‌. അവര്‍ക്ക് നാം സൌഖ്യം നല്‍കുന്നതാണ്‌. പിന്നീട് നമ്മുടെ പക്കല്‍ നിന്നുള്ള വേദനയേറിയ ശിക്ഷയും അവര്‍ക്ക് ബാധിക്കുന്നതാണ്‌

  49. تِلۡكَ مِنۡ أَنۢبَآءِ ٱلۡغَيۡبِ نُوحِيهَآ إِلَيۡكَۖ مَا كُنتَ تَعۡلَمُهَآ أَنتَ وَلَا قَوۡمُكَ مِن قَبۡلِ هَٰذَاۖ فَٱصۡبِرۡۖ إِنَّ ٱلۡعَٰقِبَةَ لِلۡمُتَّقِينَ

    49

    That is from the news of the unseen which We reveal to you, [O Muhammad]. You knew it not, neither you nor your people, before this. So be patient; indeed, the [best] outcome is for the righteous

    (നബിയേ,) അവയൊക്കെ അദൃശ്യവാര്‍ത്തകളില്‍ പെട്ടതാകുന്നു. നിനക്ക് നാം അത് സന്ദേശമായി നല്‍കുന്നു. നീയോ, നിന്‍റെ ജനതയോ ഇതിനു മുമ്പ് അതറിയുമായിരുന്നില്ല. അതുകൊണ്ട് ക്ഷമിക്കുക. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അനന്തരഫലം സൂക്ഷ്മത പാലിക്കുന്നവര്‍ക്ക് അനുകൂലമായിരിക്കും

  50. وَإِلَىٰ عَادٍ أَخَاهُمۡ هُودٗاۚ قَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ ٱعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنۡ إِلَٰهٍ غَيۡرُهُۥٓۖ إِنۡ أَنتُمۡ إِلَّا مُفۡتَرُونَ

    50

    And to 'Aad [We sent] their brother Hud. He said, "O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him. You are not but inventors [of falsehood]

    ആദ് ജനതയിലേക്ക് അവരുടെ സഹോദരനായ ഹൂദിനെയും (നാം നിയോഗിക്കുകയുണ്ടായി.) അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: എന്‍റെ ജനങ്ങളേ, നിങ്ങള്‍ അല്ലാഹുവിനെ ആരാധിക്കുക. നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് അവനല്ലാതെ യാതൊരു ദൈവവുമില്ല. നിങ്ങള്‍ കെട്ടിച്ചമച്ച് പറയുന്നവര്‍ മാത്രമാകുന്നു

  51. يَٰقَوۡمِ لَآ أَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ أَجۡرًاۖ إِنۡ أَجۡرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَى ٱلَّذِي فَطَرَنِيٓۚ أَفَلَا تَعۡقِلُونَ

    51

    O my people, I do not ask you for it any reward. My reward is only from the one who created me. Then will you not reason

    എന്‍റെ ജനങ്ങളേ, ഞാന്‍ നിങ്ങളോട് ഇതിന്‍റെ പേരില്‍ യാതൊരു പ്രതിഫലവും ആവശ്യപ്പെടുന്നില്ല. എനിക്കുള്ള പ്രതിഫലം എന്നെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചവന്‍ തരേണ്ടത് മാത്രമാണ്‌. നിങ്ങള്‍ ചിന്തിച്ച് ഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നില്ലേ

  52. وَيَٰقَوۡمِ ٱسۡتَغۡفِرُواْ رَبَّكُمۡ ثُمَّ تُوبُوٓاْ إِلَيۡهِ يُرۡسِلِ ٱلسَّمَآءَ عَلَيۡكُم مِّدۡرَارٗا وَيَزِدۡكُمۡ قُوَّةً إِلَىٰ قُوَّتِكُمۡ وَلَا تَتَوَلَّوۡاْ مُجۡرِمِينَ

    52

    And O my people, ask forgiveness of your Lord and then repent to Him. He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in showers and increase you in strength [added] to your strength. And do not turn away, [being] criminals

    എന്‍റെ ജനങ്ങളേ, നിങ്ങള്‍ നിങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിനോട് പാപമോചനം തേടുക. എന്നിട്ട് അവങ്കലേക്ക് ഖേദിച്ചുമടങ്ങുകയും ചെയ്യുക. എങ്കില്‍ അവന്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് സമൃദ്ധമായി മഴ അയച്ചുതരികയും, നിങ്ങളുടെ ശക്തിയിലേക്ക് അവന്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ ശക്തി ചേര്‍ത്തുതരികയും ചെയ്യുന്നതാണ്‌. നിങ്ങള്‍ കുറ്റവാളികളായിക്കൊണ്ട് പിന്തിരിഞ്ഞ് പോകരുത്‌

  53. قَالُواْ يَٰهُودُ مَا جِئۡتَنَا بِبَيِّنَةٖ وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِتَارِكِيٓ ءَالِهَتِنَا عَن قَوۡلِكَ وَمَا نَحۡنُ لَكَ بِمُؤۡمِنِينَ

    53

    They said, "O Hud, you have not brought us clear evidence, and we are not ones to leave our gods on your say-so. Nor are we believers in you

    അവര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു: ഹൂടേ, നീ ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് വ്യക്തമായ ഒരു തെളിവും കൊണ്ടു വന്നിട്ടില്ല. നീ പറഞ്ഞതിനാല്‍ മാത്രം ഞങ്ങള്‍ ഞങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവങ്ങളെ വിട്ടുകളയുന്നതല്ല. ഞങ്ങള്‍ നിന്നെ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നതുമല്ല

  54. إِن نَّقُولُ إِلَّا ٱعۡتَرَىٰكَ بَعۡضُ ءَالِهَتِنَا بِسُوٓءٖۗ قَالَ إِنِّيٓ أُشۡهِدُ ٱللَّهَ وَٱشۡهَدُوٓاْ أَنِّي بَرِيٓءٞ مِّمَّا تُشۡرِكُونَ

    54

    We only say that some of our gods have possessed you with evil." He said, "Indeed, I call Allah to witness, and witness [yourselves] that I am free from whatever you associate with Allah

    ഞങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവങ്ങളില്‍ ഒരാള്‍ നിനക്ക് എന്തോ ദോഷബാധ ഉളവാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു എന്ന് മാത്രമാണ് ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് പറയാനുള്ളത്‌. ഹൂദ് പറഞ്ഞു: നിങ്ങള്‍ പങ്കാളികളായി ചേര്‍ക്കുന്ന യാതൊന്നുമായും എനിക്ക് ബന്ധമില്ല എന്നതിന് ഞാന്‍ അല്ലാഹുവെ സാക്ഷി നിര്‍ത്തുന്നു. (നിങ്ങളും) അതിന്ന് സാക്ഷികളായിരിക്കുക

  55. مِن دُونِهِۦۖ فَكِيدُونِي جَمِيعٗا ثُمَّ لَا تُنظِرُونِ

    55

    Other than Him. So plot against me all together; then do not give me respite

    അല്ലാഹുവിന് പുറമെ. അതുകൊണ്ട് നിങ്ങളെല്ലാവരും കൂടി എനിക്കെതിരില്‍ തന്ത്രം പ്രയോഗിച്ച് കൊള്ളുക. എന്നിട്ട് നിങ്ങള്‍ എനിക്ക് ഇടതരികയും വേണ്ട

  56. إِنِّي تَوَكَّلۡتُ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ رَبِّي وَرَبِّكُمۚ مَّا مِن دَآبَّةٍ إِلَّا هُوَ ءَاخِذُۢ بِنَاصِيَتِهَآۚ إِنَّ رَبِّي عَلَىٰ صِرَٰطٖ مُّسۡتَقِيمٖ

    56

    Indeed, I have relied upon Allah, my Lord and your Lord. There is no creature but that He holds its forelock. Indeed, my Lord is on a path [that is] straight

    എന്‍റെയും നിങ്ങളുടെയും രക്ഷിതാവായ അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ മേല്‍ ഞാനിതാ ഭരമേല്‍പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. യാതൊരു ജന്തുവും അവന്‍ അതിന്‍റെ നെറുകയില്‍ പിടിക്കുന്ന (നിയന്ത്രിക്കുന്ന) തായിട്ടില്ലാതെയില്ല. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും എന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് നേരായ പാതയിലാകുന്നു

  57. فَإِن تَوَلَّوۡاْ فَقَدۡ أَبۡلَغۡتُكُم مَّآ أُرۡسِلۡتُ بِهِۦٓ إِلَيۡكُمۡۚ وَيَسۡتَخۡلِفُ رَبِّي قَوۡمًا غَيۡرَكُمۡ وَلَا تَضُرُّونَهُۥ شَيۡـًٔاۚ إِنَّ رَبِّي عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٍ حَفِيظٞ

    57

    But if they turn away, [say], "I have already conveyed that with which I was sent to you. My Lord will give succession to a people other than you, and you will not harm Him at all. Indeed my Lord is, over all things, Guardian

    ഇനി നിങ്ങള്‍ പിന്തിരിഞ്ഞ് കളയുകയാണെങ്കില്‍, ഞാന്‍ നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുത്തേക്ക് അയക്കപ്പെട്ടത് ഏതൊരു കാര്യവുമായിട്ടാണോ അത് ഞാന്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് എത്തിച്ചുതന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്‌. നിങ്ങളല്ലാത്ത ഒരു ജനതയെ എന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് പകരം കൊണ്ടുവരുന്നതുമാണ്‌. അവന്ന് യാതൊരു ഉപദ്രവവും വരുത്താന്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കാവില്ല. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും എന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് എല്ലാ കാര്യവും സംരക്ഷിച്ച് പോരുന്നവനാകുന്നു

  58. وَلَمَّا جَآءَ أَمۡرُنَا نَجَّيۡنَا هُودٗا وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ مَعَهُۥ بِرَحۡمَةٖ مِّنَّا وَنَجَّيۡنَٰهُم مِّنۡ عَذَابٍ غَلِيظٖ

    58

    And when Our command came, We saved Hud and those who believed with him, by mercy from Us; and We saved them from a harsh punishment

    നമ്മുടെ കല്‍പന വന്നപ്പോള്‍ ഹൂദിനെയും അദ്ദേഹത്തോടൊപ്പം വിശ്വസിച്ചവരെയും നമ്മുടെ കാരുണ്യം കൊണ്ട് നാം രക്ഷിച്ചു. കഠിനമായ ശിക്ഷയില്‍ നിന്ന് നാം അവരെ രക്ഷപ്പെടുത്തി

  59. وَتِلۡكَ عَادٞۖ جَحَدُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّهِمۡ وَعَصَوۡاْ رُسُلَهُۥ وَٱتَّبَعُوٓاْ أَمۡرَ كُلِّ جَبَّارٍ عَنِيدٖ

    59

    And that was 'Aad, who rejected the signs of their Lord and disobeyed His messengers and followed the order of every obstinate tyrant

    അതാണ് ആദ് ജനത. തങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്‍റെ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങളെ അവര്‍ നിഷേധിക്കുകയും, അവന്‍റെ ദൂതന്‍മാരെ അവര്‍ ധിക്കരിക്കുകയും, മര്‍ക്കടമുഷ്ടിക്കാരായ എല്ലാ സ്വേച്ഛാധിപതികളുടെയും കല്‍പന അവന്‍ പിന്‍പറ്റുകയും ചെയ്തു

  60. وَأُتۡبِعُواْ فِي هَٰذِهِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا لَعۡنَةٗ وَيَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِۗ أَلَآ إِنَّ عَادٗا كَفَرُواْ رَبَّهُمۡۗ أَلَا بُعۡدٗا لِّعَادٖ قَوۡمِ هُودٖ

    60

    And they were [therefore] followed in this world with a curse and [as well] on the Day of Resurrection. Unquestionably, 'Aad denied their Lord; then away with 'Aad, the people of Hud

    ഈ ഐഹികജീവിതത്തിലും ഉയിര്‍ത്തെഴുന്നേല്‍പിന്‍റെ നാളിലും ശാപം അവരുടെ പിന്നാലെ അയക്കപ്പെട്ടു. ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക: തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ആദ് ജനത തങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിനോട് നന്ദികേട് കാണിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക: ഹൂദിന്‍റെ ജനതയായ ആദിന് നാശം

  61. ۞وَإِلَىٰ ثَمُودَ أَخَاهُمۡ صَٰلِحٗاۚ قَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ ٱعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنۡ إِلَٰهٍ غَيۡرُهُۥۖ هُوَ أَنشَأَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَٱسۡتَعۡمَرَكُمۡ فِيهَا فَٱسۡتَغۡفِرُوهُ ثُمَّ تُوبُوٓاْ إِلَيۡهِۚ إِنَّ رَبِّي قَرِيبٞ مُّجِيبٞ

    61

    And to Thamud [We sent] their brother Salih. He said, "O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him. He has produced you from the earth and settled you in it, so ask forgiveness of Him and then repent to Him. Indeed, my Lord is near and responsive

    ഥമൂദ് ജനതയിലേക്ക് അവരുടെ സഹോദരനായ സ്വാലിഹിനെയും (നാം നിയോഗിക്കുകയുണ്ടായി.) അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: എന്‍റെ ജനങ്ങളേ, നിങ്ങള്‍ അല്ലാഹുവെ ആരാധിക്കുക. നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് അവനല്ലാതെ യാതൊരു ദൈവവുമില്ല. അവന്‍ നിങ്ങളെ ഭൂമിയില്‍ നിന്ന് സൃഷ്ടിച്ച് വളര്‍ത്തുകയും നിങ്ങളെ അവിടെ അധിവസിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു. ആകയാല്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ അവനോട് പാപമോചനം തേടുകയും, എന്നിട്ട് അവനിലേക്ക് ഖേദിച്ചുമടങ്ങുകയും ചെയ്യുക. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും എന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് അടുത്തു തന്നെയുള്ളവനും (പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥനക്ക്‌) ഉത്തരം നല്‍കുന്നവനുമാകുന്നു

  62. قَالُواْ يَٰصَٰلِحُ قَدۡ كُنتَ فِينَا مَرۡجُوّٗا قَبۡلَ هَٰذَآۖ أَتَنۡهَىٰنَآ أَن نَّعۡبُدَ مَا يَعۡبُدُ ءَابَآؤُنَا وَإِنَّنَا لَفِي شَكّٖ مِّمَّا تَدۡعُونَآ إِلَيۡهِ مُرِيبٖ

    62

    They said, "O Salih, you were among us a man of promise before this. Do you forbid us to worship what our fathers worshipped? And indeed we are, about that to which you invite us, in disquieting doubt

    അവര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു: സ്വാലിഹേ, ഇതിനു മുമ്പ് നീ ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്കിടയില്‍ അഭിലഷണീയനായിരുന്നു. ഞങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്‍മാര്‍ ആരാധിച്ചു വരുന്നതിനെ ഞങ്ങള്‍ ആരാധിക്കുന്നതില്‍ നിന്ന് നീ ഞങ്ങളെ വിലക്കുകയാണോ? നീ ഞങ്ങളെ ക്ഷണിച്ച് കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന കാര്യത്തെപ്പറ്റി ഞങ്ങള്‍ അവിശ്വാസജനകമായ സംശയത്തിലാണ്‌

  63. قَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ أَرَءَيۡتُمۡ إِن كُنتُ عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَةٖ مِّن رَّبِّي وَءَاتَىٰنِي مِنۡهُ رَحۡمَةٗ فَمَن يَنصُرُنِي مِنَ ٱللَّهِ إِنۡ عَصَيۡتُهُۥۖ فَمَا تَزِيدُونَنِي غَيۡرَ تَخۡسِيرٖ

    63

    He said, "O my people, have you considered: if I should be upon clear evidence from my Lord and He has given me mercy from Himself, who would protect me from Allah if I disobeyed Him? So you would not increase me except in loss

    അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: എന്‍റെ ജനങ്ങളേ, നിങ്ങള്‍ ചിന്തിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടോ? ഞാന്‍ എന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിങ്കല്‍ നിന്നുള്ള വ്യക്തമായ തെളിവിനെ അവലംബിക്കുന്നവനായിരിക്കുകയും, അവന്‍റെ പക്കല്‍ നിന്നുള്ള കാരുണ്യം അവനെനിക്ക് നല്‍കിയിരിക്കുകയുമാണെങ്കില്‍ -അല്ലാഹുവോട് ഞാന്‍ അനുസരണക്കേട് കാണിക്കുന്ന പക്ഷം- അവന്‍റെ ശിക്ഷയില്‍ നിന്ന് (രക്ഷിച്ചുകൊണ്ട്‌) എന്നെ സഹായിക്കാനാരുണ്ട്‌? അപ്പോള്‍ (കാര്യം ഇങ്ങനെയാണെങ്കില്‍) നിങ്ങള്‍ എനിക്ക് കൂടുതല്‍ നഷ്ടം വരുത്തിവെക്കുക മാത്രമേ ചെയ്യൂ

  64. وَيَٰقَوۡمِ هَٰذِهِۦ نَاقَةُ ٱللَّهِ لَكُمۡ ءَايَةٗۖ فَذَرُوهَا تَأۡكُلۡ فِيٓ أَرۡضِ ٱللَّهِۖ وَلَا تَمَسُّوهَا بِسُوٓءٖ فَيَأۡخُذَكُمۡ عَذَابٞ قَرِيبٞ

    64

    And O my people, this is the she-camel of Allah - [she is] to you a sign. So let her feed upon Allah 's earth and do not touch her with harm, or you will be taken by an impending punishment

    എന്‍റെ ജനങ്ങളേ, ഇതാ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു ഒരു ദൃഷ്ടാന്തമായിക്കൊണ്ട് അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ ഒട്ടകം. അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ ഭൂമിയില്‍ നടന്ന് തിന്നുവാന്‍ നിങ്ങളതിനെ വിട്ടേക്കുക. നിങ്ങളതിന് ഒരു ദോഷവും വരുത്തിവെക്കരുത്‌. അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യുന്ന പക്ഷം അടുത്തു തന്നെ ശിക്ഷ നിങ്ങളെ പിടികൂടുന്നതാണ്‌

  65. فَعَقَرُوهَا فَقَالَ تَمَتَّعُواْ فِي دَارِكُمۡ ثَلَٰثَةَ أَيَّامٖۖ ذَٰلِكَ وَعۡدٌ غَيۡرُ مَكۡذُوبٖ

    65

    But they hamstrung her, so he said, "Enjoy yourselves in your homes for three days. That is a promise not to be denied

    എന്നിട്ട് അവരതിനെ വെട്ടിക്കൊന്നു. അപ്പോള്‍ അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: നിങ്ങള്‍ മൂന്ന് ദിവസം നിങ്ങളുടെ വീടുകളില്‍ സൌഖ്യമനുഭവിച്ചു കൊള്ളുക. (അതോടെ ശിക്ഷ വന്നെത്തും.) തെറ്റാകാനിടയില്ലാത്ത ഒരു വാഗ്ദാനമാണിത്‌

  66. فَلَمَّا جَآءَ أَمۡرُنَا نَجَّيۡنَا صَٰلِحٗا وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ مَعَهُۥ بِرَحۡمَةٖ مِّنَّا وَمِنۡ خِزۡيِ يَوۡمِئِذٍۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ ٱلۡقَوِيُّ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ

    66

    So when Our command came, We saved Salih and those who believed with him, by mercy from Us, and [saved them] from the disgrace of that day. Indeed, it is your Lord who is the Powerful, the Exalted in Might

    അങ്ങനെ നമ്മുടെ കല്‍പന വന്നപ്പോള്‍ സ്വാലിഹിനെയും അദ്ദേഹത്തോടൊപ്പം വിശ്വസിച്ചവരെയും നമ്മുടെ കാരുണ്യം കൊണ്ട് നാം രക്ഷപ്പെടുത്തി. ആ ദിവസത്തെ അപമാനത്തില്‍ നിന്നും (അവരെ നാം മോചിപ്പിച്ചു.) തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് തന്നെയാണ് ശക്തനും പ്രതാപവാനും

  67. وَأَخَذَ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ ٱلصَّيۡحَةُ فَأَصۡبَحُواْ فِي دِيَٰرِهِمۡ جَٰثِمِينَ

    67

    And the shriek seized those who had wronged, and they became within their homes [corpses] fallen prone

    അക്രമം പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചവരെ ഘോരശബ്ദം പിടികൂടി. അങ്ങനെ പ്രഭാതമായപ്പോള്‍ അവര്‍ അവരുടെ വീടുകളില്‍ കമിഴ്ന്ന് വീണ അവസ്ഥയിലായിരുന്നു

  68. كَأَن لَّمۡ يَغۡنَوۡاْ فِيهَآۗ أَلَآ إِنَّ ثَمُودَاْ كَفَرُواْ رَبَّهُمۡۗ أَلَا بُعۡدٗا لِّثَمُودَ

    68

    As if they had never prospered therein. Unquestionably, Thamud denied their Lord; then, away with Thamud

    അവര്‍ അവിടെ താമസിച്ചിട്ടില്ലാത്ത പോലെ (അവര്‍ ഉന്‍മൂലനം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടു.) ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക: തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഥമൂദ് ജനത തങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിനോട് നന്ദികേട് കാണിച്ചു.ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക: ഥമൂദ് ജനതയ്ക്ക് നാശം

  69. وَلَقَدۡ جَآءَتۡ رُسُلُنَآ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ بِٱلۡبُشۡرَىٰ قَالُواْ سَلَٰمٗاۖ قَالَ سَلَٰمٞۖ فَمَا لَبِثَ أَن جَآءَ بِعِجۡلٍ حَنِيذٖ

    69

    And certainly did Our messengers come to Abraham with good tidings; they said, "Peace." He said, "Peace," and did not delay in bringing [them] a roasted calf

    നമ്മുടെ ദൂതന്‍മാര്‍ ഇബ്രാഹീമിന്‍റെ അടുത്ത് സന്തോഷവാര്‍ത്തയും കൊണ്ട് വരികയുണ്ടായി. അവര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു: സലാം. അദ്ദേഹം പ്രതിവചിച്ചു. സലാം വൈകിയില്ല. അദ്ദേഹം ഒരു പൊരിച്ച മൂരിക്കുട്ടിയെ കൊണ്ട് വന്നു

  70. فَلَمَّا رَءَآ أَيۡدِيَهُمۡ لَا تَصِلُ إِلَيۡهِ نَكِرَهُمۡ وَأَوۡجَسَ مِنۡهُمۡ خِيفَةٗۚ قَالُواْ لَا تَخَفۡ إِنَّآ أُرۡسِلۡنَآ إِلَىٰ قَوۡمِ لُوطٖ

    70

    But when he saw their hands not reaching for it, he distrusted them and felt from them apprehension. They said, "Fear not. We have been sent to the people of Lot

    എന്നിട്ട് അവരുടെ കൈകള്‍ അതിലേക്ക് നീളുന്നില്ലെന്ന് കണ്ടപ്പോള്‍ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് അവരുടെ കാര്യത്തില്‍ പന്തികേട് തോന്നുകയും അവരെ പറ്റി ഭയം അനുഭവപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്തു. അവര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു: ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ട. ഞങ്ങള്‍ ലൂത്വിന്‍റെ ജനതയിലേക്ക് നിയോഗിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുകയാണ്‌

  71. وَٱمۡرَأَتُهُۥ قَآئِمَةٞ فَضَحِكَتۡ فَبَشَّرۡنَٰهَا بِإِسۡحَٰقَ وَمِن وَرَآءِ إِسۡحَٰقَ يَعۡقُوبَ

    71

    And his Wife was standing, and she smiled. Then We gave her good tidings of Isaac and after Isaac, Jacob

    അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്‍റെ (ഇബ്രാഹീം നബി (അ) യുടെ) ഭാര്യ അവിടെ നില്‍ക്കുന്നുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അവര്‍ ചിരിച്ചു. അപ്പോള്‍ അവര്‍ക്ക് ഇഷാഖിനെപ്പറ്റിയും, ഇഷാഖിന്‍റെ പിന്നാലെ യഅ്ഖൂബിനെപ്പറ്റിയും സന്തോഷവാര്‍ത്ത അറിയിച്ചു

  72. قَالَتۡ يَٰوَيۡلَتَىٰٓ ءَأَلِدُ وَأَنَا۠ عَجُوزٞ وَهَٰذَا بَعۡلِي شَيۡخًاۖ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَشَيۡءٌ عَجِيبٞ

    72

    She said, "Woe to me! Shall I give birth while I am an old woman and this, my husband, is an old man? Indeed, this is an amazing thing

    അവര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു: കഷ്ടം! ഞാനൊരു കിഴവിയായിട്ടും പ്രസവിക്കുകയോ? എന്‍റെ ഭര്‍ത്താവ് ഇതാ ഒരു വൃദ്ധന്‍! തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഇതൊരു അത്ഭുതകരമായ കാര്യം തന്നെ

  73. قَالُوٓاْ أَتَعۡجَبِينَ مِنۡ أَمۡرِ ٱللَّهِۖ رَحۡمَتُ ٱللَّهِ وَبَرَكَٰتُهُۥ عَلَيۡكُمۡ أَهۡلَ ٱلۡبَيۡتِۚ إِنَّهُۥ حَمِيدٞ مَّجِيدٞ

    73

    They said, "Are you amazed at the decree of Allah? May the mercy of Allah and His blessings be upon you, people of the house. Indeed, He is Praiseworthy and Honorable

    അവര്‍ (ദൂതന്‍മാര്‍) പറഞ്ഞു: അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ കല്‍പനയെപ്പറ്റി നീ അത്ഭുതപ്പെടുകയോ? ഹേ, വീട്ടുകാരേ, നിങ്ങളില്‍ അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ കാരുണ്യവും അനുഗ്രഹങ്ങളുമുണ്ടായിരിക്കട്ടെ. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവന്‍ സ്തുത്യര്‍ഹനും മഹത്വമേറിയവനും ആകുന്നു

  74. فَلَمَّا ذَهَبَ عَنۡ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ ٱلرَّوۡعُ وَجَآءَتۡهُ ٱلۡبُشۡرَىٰ يُجَٰدِلُنَا فِي قَوۡمِ لُوطٍ

    74

    And when the fright had left Abraham and the good tidings had reached him, he began to argue with Us concerning the people of Lot

    അങ്ങനെ ഇബ്രാഹീമില്‍ നിന്ന് ഭയം വിട്ടുമാറുകയും, അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് സന്തോഷവാര്‍ത്ത വന്നുകിട്ടുകയും ചെയ്തപ്പോള്‍ അദ്ദേഹമതാ ലൂത്വിന്‍റെ ജനതയുടെ കാര്യത്തില്‍ നമ്മോട് തര്‍ക്കിക്കുന്നു

  75. إِنَّ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ لَحَلِيمٌ أَوَّـٰهٞ مُّنِيبٞ

    75

    Indeed, Abraham was forbearing, grieving and [frequently] returning [to Allah]

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഇബ്രാഹീം സഹനശീലനും, ഏറെ അനുകമ്പയുള്ളവനും പശ്ചാത്താപമുള്ളവനും തന്നെയാണ്‌

  76. يَـٰٓإِبۡرَٰهِيمُ أَعۡرِضۡ عَنۡ هَٰذَآۖ إِنَّهُۥ قَدۡ جَآءَ أَمۡرُ رَبِّكَۖ وَإِنَّهُمۡ ءَاتِيهِمۡ عَذَابٌ غَيۡرُ مَرۡدُودٖ

    76

    [The angels said], "O Abraham, give up this [plea]. Indeed, the command of your Lord has come, and indeed, there will reach them a punishment that cannot be repelled

    ഇബ്രാഹീമേ, ഇതില്‍ നിന്ന് പിന്തിരിഞ്ഞേക്കുക. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്‍റെ കല്‍പന വന്നു കഴിഞ്ഞു. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവര്‍ക്ക് റദ്ദാക്കപ്പെടാത്ത ശിക്ഷ വരുകയാകുന്നു

  77. وَلَمَّا جَآءَتۡ رُسُلُنَا لُوطٗا سِيٓءَ بِهِمۡ وَضَاقَ بِهِمۡ ذَرۡعٗا وَقَالَ هَٰذَا يَوۡمٌ عَصِيبٞ

    77

    And when Our messengers, [the angels], came to Lot, he was anguished for them and felt for them great discomfort and said, "This is a trying day

    നമ്മുടെ ദൂതന്‍മാര്‍ (മലക്കുകള്‍) ലൂത്വിന്‍റെ അടുക്കല്‍ ചെന്നപ്പോള്‍ അവരുടെ കാര്യത്തില്‍ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് ദുഃഖം തോന്നുകയും അവരെ പറ്റി ചിന്തിച്ചിട്ട് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് മനഃപ്രയാസമുണ്ടാവുകയും ചെയ്തു. ഇതൊരു വിഷമകരമായ ദിവസം തന്നെ എന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം പറയുകയും ചെയ്തു

  78. وَجَآءَهُۥ قَوۡمُهُۥ يُهۡرَعُونَ إِلَيۡهِ وَمِن قَبۡلُ كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِۚ قَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ بَنَاتِي هُنَّ أَطۡهَرُ لَكُمۡۖ فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَلَا تُخۡزُونِ فِي ضَيۡفِيٓۖ أَلَيۡسَ مِنكُمۡ رَجُلٞ رَّشِيدٞ

    78

    And his people came hastening to him, and before [this] they had been doing evil deeds. He said, "O my people, these are my daughters; they are purer for you. So fear Allah and do not disgrace me concerning my guests. Is there not among you a man of reason

    ലൂത്വിന്‍റെ ജനങ്ങള്‍ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്‍റെ അടുത്തേക്ക് ഓടിവന്നു. മുമ്പു തന്നെ അവര്‍ ദുര്‍നടപ്പുകാരായിരുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: എന്‍റെ ജനങ്ങളേ, ഇതാ എന്‍റെ പെണ്‍മക്കള്‍. അവരാണ് നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് കൂടുതല്‍ പരിശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവര്‍. (അവരെ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് വിവാഹം കഴിക്കാമല്ലോ?) അതിനാല്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ അല്ലാഹുവെ സൂക്ഷിക്കുകയും എന്‍റെ അതിഥികളുടെ കാര്യത്തില്‍ എന്നെ അപമാനിക്കാതിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക. നിങ്ങളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില്‍ വിവേകമുള്ള ഒരു പുരുഷനുമില്ലേ

  79. قَالُواْ لَقَدۡ عَلِمۡتَ مَا لَنَا فِي بَنَاتِكَ مِنۡ حَقّٖ وَإِنَّكَ لَتَعۡلَمُ مَا نُرِيدُ

    79

    They said, "You have already known that we have not concerning your daughters any claim, and indeed, you know what we want

    അവര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു: നിന്‍റെ പെണ്‍മക്കളെ ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ആവശ്യമില്ലെന്ന് നിനക്ക് അറിവുണ്ടല്ലോ? തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നിനക്കറിയാം; ഞങ്ങള്‍ എന്താണ് ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നതെന്ന്‌

  80. قَالَ لَوۡ أَنَّ لِي بِكُمۡ قُوَّةً أَوۡ ءَاوِيٓ إِلَىٰ رُكۡنٖ شَدِيدٖ

    80

    He said, "If only I had against you some power or could take refuge in a strong support

    അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: എനിക്ക് നിങ്ങളെ തടയുവാന്‍ ശക്തിയുണ്ടായിരുന്നുവെങ്കില്‍! അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ ശക്തനായ ഒരു സഹായിയെ എനിക്ക് ആശ്രയിക്കാനുണ്ടായിരുന്നുവെങ്കില്‍

  81. قَالُواْ يَٰلُوطُ إِنَّا رُسُلُ رَبِّكَ لَن يَصِلُوٓاْ إِلَيۡكَۖ فَأَسۡرِ بِأَهۡلِكَ بِقِطۡعٖ مِّنَ ٱلَّيۡلِ وَلَا يَلۡتَفِتۡ مِنكُمۡ أَحَدٌ إِلَّا ٱمۡرَأَتَكَۖ إِنَّهُۥ مُصِيبُهَا مَآ أَصَابَهُمۡۚ إِنَّ مَوۡعِدَهُمُ ٱلصُّبۡحُۚ أَلَيۡسَ ٱلصُّبۡحُ بِقَرِيبٖ

    81

    The angels said, "O Lot, indeed we are messengers of your Lord; [therefore], they will never reach you. So set out with your family during a portion of the night and let not any among you look back - except your wife; indeed, she will be struck by that which strikes them. Indeed, their appointment is [for] the morning. Is not the morning near

    അവര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു: ലൂത്വേ, തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഞങ്ങള്‍ നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്‍റെ ദൂതന്‍മാരാണ്‌. അവര്‍ക്ക് (ജനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക്‌) നിന്‍റെ അടുത്തേക്കെത്താനാവില്ല. ആകയാല്‍ നീ രാത്രിയില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള ഒരു യാമത്തില്‍ നിന്‍റെ കുടുംബത്തേയും കൊണ്ട് യാത്ര പുറപ്പെട്ട് കൊള്ളുക. നിങ്ങളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് ഒരാളും തിരിഞ്ഞ് നോക്കരുത്‌. നിന്‍റെ ഭാര്യയൊഴികെ. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവര്‍ക്ക് (ജനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക്‌) വന്നുഭവിച്ച ശിക്ഷ അവള്‍ക്കും വന്നുഭവിക്കുന്നതാണ്‌. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവര്‍ക്ക് നിശ്ചയിച്ച അവധി പ്രഭാതമാകുന്നു. പ്രഭാതം അടുത്ത് തന്നെയല്ലേ

  82. فَلَمَّا جَآءَ أَمۡرُنَا جَعَلۡنَا عَٰلِيَهَا سَافِلَهَا وَأَمۡطَرۡنَا عَلَيۡهَا حِجَارَةٗ مِّن سِجِّيلٖ مَّنضُودٖ

    82

    So when Our command came, We made the highest part [of the city] its lowest and rained upon them stones of layered hard clay, [which were]

    അങ്ങനെ നമ്മുടെ കല്‍പന വന്നപ്പോള്‍ ആ രാജ്യത്തെ നാം കീഴ്മേല്‍ മറിക്കുകയും, അട്ടിയട്ടിയായി ചൂളവെച്ച ഇഷ്ടികക്കല്ലുകള്‍ നാം അവരുടെ മേല്‍ വര്‍ഷിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു

  83. مُّسَوَّمَةً عِندَ رَبِّكَۖ وَمَا هِيَ مِنَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ بِبَعِيدٖ

    83

    Marked from your Lord. And Allah 's punishment is not from the wrongdoers [very] far

    നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്‍റെ അടുക്കല്‍ അടയാളം വെക്കപ്പെട്ടവയത്രെ (ആ കല്ലുകള്‍) അത് ഈ അക്രമികളില്‍ നിന്ന് അകലെയല്ല

  84. ۞وَإِلَىٰ مَدۡيَنَ أَخَاهُمۡ شُعَيۡبٗاۚ قَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ ٱعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنۡ إِلَٰهٍ غَيۡرُهُۥۖ وَلَا تَنقُصُواْ ٱلۡمِكۡيَالَ وَٱلۡمِيزَانَۖ إِنِّيٓ أَرَىٰكُم بِخَيۡرٖ وَإِنِّيٓ أَخَافُ عَلَيۡكُمۡ عَذَابَ يَوۡمٖ مُّحِيطٖ

    84

    And to Madyan [We sent] their brother Shu'ayb. He said, "O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him. And do not decrease from the measure and the scale. Indeed, I see you in prosperity, but indeed, I fear for you the punishment of an all-encompassing Day

    മദ്‌യങ്കാരിലേക്ക് അവരുടെ സഹോദരനായ ശുഐബിനേയും (നാം നിയോഗിക്കുകയുണ്ടായി.) അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: എന്‍റെ ജനങ്ങളേ, നിങ്ങള്‍ അല്ലാഹുവിനെ ആരാധിക്കുക. നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് അവനല്ലാതെ യാതൊരു ദൈവവുമില്ല. അളവിലും തൂക്കത്തിലും നിങ്ങള്‍ കുറവ് വരുത്തരുത്‌. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നിങ്ങളെ ഞാന്‍ കാണുന്നത് ക്ഷേമത്തിലായിട്ടാണ്‌. നിങ്ങളെ ആകെ വലയം ചെയ്യുന്ന ഒരു ദിവസത്തെ ശിക്ഷ നിങ്ങളുടെ മേല്‍ തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഞാന്‍ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നു

  85. وَيَٰقَوۡمِ أَوۡفُواْ ٱلۡمِكۡيَالَ وَٱلۡمِيزَانَ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِۖ وَلَا تَبۡخَسُواْ ٱلنَّاسَ أَشۡيَآءَهُمۡ وَلَا تَعۡثَوۡاْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مُفۡسِدِينَ

    85

    And O my people, give full measure and weight in justice and do not deprive the people of their due and do not commit abuse on the earth, spreading corruption

    എന്‍റെ ജനങ്ങളേ, നിങ്ങള്‍ അളവും തൂക്കവും നീതിപൂര്‍വ്വം പൂര്‍ണ്ണമാക്കികൊടുക്കുക. ജനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് അവരുടെ സാധനങ്ങളില്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ കമ്മിവരുത്താതിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക. നാശകാരികളായിക്കൊണ്ട് ഭൂമിയില്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ കുഴപ്പമുണ്ടാക്കരുത്‌

  86. بَقِيَّتُ ٱللَّهِ خَيۡرٞ لَّكُمۡ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤۡمِنِينَۚ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ عَلَيۡكُم بِحَفِيظٖ

    86

    What remains [lawful] from Allah is best for you, if you would be believers. But I am not a guardian over you

    അല്ലാഹു ബാക്കിയാക്കിത്തരുന്നതാണ് നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ഗുണകരമായിട്ടുള്ളത്‌; നിങ്ങള്‍ വിശ്വാസികളാണെങ്കില്‍. ഞാന്‍ നിങ്ങളുടെ മേല്‍ കാവല്‍ക്കാരനൊന്നുമല്ല

  87. قَالُواْ يَٰشُعَيۡبُ أَصَلَوٰتُكَ تَأۡمُرُكَ أَن نَّتۡرُكَ مَا يَعۡبُدُ ءَابَآؤُنَآ أَوۡ أَن نَّفۡعَلَ فِيٓ أَمۡوَٰلِنَا مَا نَشَـٰٓؤُاْۖ إِنَّكَ لَأَنتَ ٱلۡحَلِيمُ ٱلرَّشِيدُ

    87

    They said, "O Shu'ayb, does your prayer command you that we should leave what our fathers worship or not do with our wealth what we please? Indeed, you are the forbearing, the discerning

    അവര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു: ശുഐബേ, ഞങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്‍മാര്‍ ആരാധിച്ച് വരുന്നതിനെ ഞങ്ങള്‍ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കണമെന്നോ, ഞങ്ങളുടെ സ്വത്തുക്കളില്‍ ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ഇഷ്ടമുള്ള പ്രകാരം പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കാന്‍ പാടില്ലെന്നോ നിനക്ക് കല്‍പന നല്‍കുന്നത് നിന്‍റെ ഈ നമസ്കാരമാണോ? തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നീ സഹനശീലനും വിവേകശാലിയുമാണല്ലോ

  88. قَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ أَرَءَيۡتُمۡ إِن كُنتُ عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَةٖ مِّن رَّبِّي وَرَزَقَنِي مِنۡهُ رِزۡقًا حَسَنٗاۚ وَمَآ أُرِيدُ أَنۡ أُخَالِفَكُمۡ إِلَىٰ مَآ أَنۡهَىٰكُمۡ عَنۡهُۚ إِنۡ أُرِيدُ إِلَّا ٱلۡإِصۡلَٰحَ مَا ٱسۡتَطَعۡتُۚ وَمَا تَوۡفِيقِيٓ إِلَّا بِٱللَّهِۚ عَلَيۡهِ تَوَكَّلۡتُ وَإِلَيۡهِ أُنِيبُ

    88

    He said, "O my people, have you considered: if I am upon clear evidence from my Lord and He has provided me with a good provision from Him...? And I do not intend to differ from you in that which I have forbidden you; I only intend reform as much as I am able. And my success is not but through Allah. Upon him I have relied, and to Him I return

    അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: എന്‍റെ ജനങ്ങളേ, നിങ്ങള്‍ ചിന്തിച്ച് നോക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ടോ? ഞാന്‍ എന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിങ്കല്‍ നിന്നുള്ള വ്യക്തമായ തെളിവിനെ അവലംബിക്കുന്നവനായിരിക്കുകയും, അവന്‍ എനിക്ക് അവന്‍റെ വകയായി ഉത്തമമായ ഉപജീവനം നല്‍കിയിരിക്കുകയുമാണെങ്കില്‍ (എനിക്കെങ്ങനെ സത്യം മറച്ചു വെക്കാന്‍ കഴിയും.) നിങ്ങളെ ഞാന്‍ ഒരു കാര്യത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് വിലക്കുകയും, എന്നിട്ട് നിങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്ന് വ്യത്യസ്തനായിക്കൊണ്ട് ഞാന്‍ തന്നെ അത് പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യണമെന്ന് ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നുമില്ല. എനിക്ക് സാധ്യമായത്ര നന്‍മവരുത്താനല്ലാതെ മറ്റൊന്നും ഞാന്‍ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നില്ല. അല്ലാഹു മുഖേന മാത്രമാണ് എനിക്ക് (അതിന്‌) അനുഗ്രഹം ലഭിക്കുന്നത്‌. അവന്‍റെ മേലാണ് ഞാന്‍ ഭരമേല്‍പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്‌. അവനിലേക്ക് ഞാന്‍ താഴ്മയോടെ മടങ്ങുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു

  89. وَيَٰقَوۡمِ لَا يَجۡرِمَنَّكُمۡ شِقَاقِيٓ أَن يُصِيبَكُم مِّثۡلُ مَآ أَصَابَ قَوۡمَ نُوحٍ أَوۡ قَوۡمَ هُودٍ أَوۡ قَوۡمَ صَٰلِحٖۚ وَمَا قَوۡمُ لُوطٖ مِّنكُم بِبَعِيدٖ

    89

    And O my people, let not [your] dissension from me cause you to be struck by that similar to what struck the people of Noah or the people of Hud or the people of Salih. And the people of Lot are not from you far away

    എന്‍റെ ജനങ്ങളേ, നൂഹിന്‍റെ ജനതയ്ക്കോ, ഹൂദിന്‍റെ ജനതയ്ക്കോ, സ്വാലിഹിന്‍റെ ജനതയ്ക്കോ ബാധിച്ചത് പോലെയുള്ള ശിക്ഷ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കും ബാധിക്കുവാന്‍ എന്നോടുള്ള മാത്സര്യം നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ഇടവരുത്താതിരിക്കട്ടെ. ലൂത്വിന്‍റെ ജനത നിങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്ന് അകലെയല്ല താനും

  90. وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرُواْ رَبَّكُمۡ ثُمَّ تُوبُوٓاْ إِلَيۡهِۚ إِنَّ رَبِّي رَحِيمٞ وَدُودٞ

    90

    And ask forgiveness of your Lord and then repent to Him. Indeed, my Lord is Merciful and Affectionate

    നിങ്ങള്‍ നിങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിനോട് പാപമോചനം തേടുകയും എന്നിട്ട് അവനിലേക്ക് ഖേദിച്ചുമടങ്ങുകയും ചെയ്യുക. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും എന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് ഏറെ കരുണയുള്ളവനും ഏറെ സ്നേഹമുള്ളവനുമത്രെ

  91. قَالُواْ يَٰشُعَيۡبُ مَا نَفۡقَهُ كَثِيرٗا مِّمَّا تَقُولُ وَإِنَّا لَنَرَىٰكَ فِينَا ضَعِيفٗاۖ وَلَوۡلَا رَهۡطُكَ لَرَجَمۡنَٰكَۖ وَمَآ أَنتَ عَلَيۡنَا بِعَزِيزٖ

    91

    They said, "O Shu'ayb, we do not understand much of what you say, and indeed, we consider you among us as weak. And if not for your family, we would have stoned you [to death]; and you are not to us one respected

    അവര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു: ശുഐബേ, നീ പറയുന്നതില്‍ നിന്ന് അധികഭാഗവും ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് മനസ്സിലാകുന്നില്ല. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഞങ്ങളില്‍ ബലഹീനനായിട്ടാണ് നിന്നെ ഞങ്ങള്‍ കാണുന്നത്‌. നിന്‍റെ കുടുംബങ്ങള്‍ ഇല്ലായിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍ നിന്നെ ഞങ്ങള്‍ എറിഞ്ഞ് കൊല്ലുക തന്നെ ചെയ്യുമായിരുന്നു. ഞങ്ങളെ സംബന്ധിച്ചേടത്തോളം നീയൊരു പ്രതാപവാനൊന്നുമല്ല

  92. قَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ أَرَهۡطِيٓ أَعَزُّ عَلَيۡكُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَٱتَّخَذۡتُمُوهُ وَرَآءَكُمۡ ظِهۡرِيًّاۖ إِنَّ رَبِّي بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ مُحِيطٞ

    92

    He said, "O my people, is my family more respected for power by you than Allah? But you put Him behind your backs [in neglect]. Indeed, my Lord is encompassing of what you do

    അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: എന്‍റെ ജനങ്ങളേ, എന്‍റെ കുടുംബങ്ങളാണോ നിങ്ങളെ സംബന്ധിച്ചിടത്തോളം അല്ലാഹുവെക്കാള്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ പ്രതാപമുള്ളവര്‍? എന്നിട്ട് അവനെ നിങ്ങള്‍ നിങ്ങളുടെ പിന്നിലേക്ക് പുറം തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുകയാണോ? തീര്‍ച്ചയായും എന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് നിങ്ങള്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്നതെല്ലാം സൂക്ഷ്മമായി അറിയുന്നവനാകുന്നു

  93. وَيَٰقَوۡمِ ٱعۡمَلُواْ عَلَىٰ مَكَانَتِكُمۡ إِنِّي عَٰمِلٞۖ سَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ مَن يَأۡتِيهِ عَذَابٞ يُخۡزِيهِ وَمَنۡ هُوَ كَٰذِبٞۖ وَٱرۡتَقِبُوٓاْ إِنِّي مَعَكُمۡ رَقِيبٞ

    93

    And O my people, work according to your position; indeed, I am working. You are going to know to whom will come a punishment that will disgrace him and who is a liar. So watch; indeed, I am with you a watcher, [awaiting the outcome]

    എന്‍റെ ജനങ്ങളേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ നിലപാടനുസരിച്ച് നിങ്ങള്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ച് കൊള്ളുക. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഞാനും പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ച് കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുകയാണ്‌. ആര്‍ക്കാണ് അപമാനകരമായ ശിക്ഷ വരുന്നതെന്നും ആരാണ് കള്ളം പറയുന്നവരെന്നും പുറകെ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കറിയാം. നിങ്ങള്‍ കാത്തിരിക്കുക. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഞാനും നിങ്ങളോടൊപ്പം കാത്തിരിക്കുകയാണ്‌

  94. وَلَمَّا جَآءَ أَمۡرُنَا نَجَّيۡنَا شُعَيۡبٗا وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ مَعَهُۥ بِرَحۡمَةٖ مِّنَّا وَأَخَذَتِ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ ٱلصَّيۡحَةُ فَأَصۡبَحُواْ فِي دِيَٰرِهِمۡ جَٰثِمِينَ

    94

    And when Our command came, We saved Shu'ayb and those who believed with him, by mercy from Us. And the shriek seized those who had wronged, and they became within their homes [corpses] fallen prone

    നമ്മുടെ കല്‍പന വന്നപ്പോള്‍ ശുഐബിനെയും അദ്ദേഹത്തോടൊപ്പം വിശ്വസിച്ചവരെയും നമ്മുടെ കാരുണ്യം കൊണ്ട് നാം രക്ഷപ്പെടുത്തി. അക്രമം ചെയ്തവരെ ഘോരശബ്ദം പിടികൂടുകയും ചെയ്തു. അങ്ങനെ നേരം പുലര്‍ന്നപ്പോള്‍ അവര്‍ തങ്ങളുടെ പാര്‍പ്പിടങ്ങളില്‍ കമിഴ്ന്നു വീണുകിടക്കുകയായിരുന്നു

  95. كَأَن لَّمۡ يَغۡنَوۡاْ فِيهَآۗ أَلَا بُعۡدٗا لِّمَدۡيَنَ كَمَا بَعِدَتۡ ثَمُودُ

    95

    As if they had never prospered therein. Then, away with Madyan as Thamud was taken away

    അവര്‍ അവിടെ താമസിച്ചിട്ടില്ലാത്ത പോലെ (സ്ഥലം ശൂന്യമായി) ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക: ഥമൂദ് നശിച്ചത് പോലെതന്നെ മദ്‌യനിന്നും നാശം

  96. وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مُوسَىٰ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَسُلۡطَٰنٖ مُّبِينٍ

    96

    And We did certainly send Moses with Our signs and a clear authority

    നമ്മുടെ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങളും വ്യക്തമായ പ്രമാണവുമായി മൂസായെ നാം നിയോഗിക്കുകയുണ്ടായി

  97. إِلَىٰ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَمَلَإِيْهِۦ فَٱتَّبَعُوٓاْ أَمۡرَ فِرۡعَوۡنَۖ وَمَآ أَمۡرُ فِرۡعَوۡنَ بِرَشِيدٖ

    97

    To Pharaoh and his establishment, but they followed the command of Pharaoh, and the command of Pharaoh was not [at all] discerning

    ഫിര്‍ഔന്‍റെയും അവന്‍റെ പ്രമാണികളുടെയും അടുത്തേക്ക്‌. എന്നിട്ട് അവര്‍ (പ്രമാണിമാര്‍) ഫിര്‍ഔന്‍റെ കല്‍പന പിന്‍പറ്റുകയാണ് ചെയ്തത്‌. ഫിര്‍ഔന്‍റെ കല്‍പനയാകട്ടെ വിവേകപൂര്‍ണ്ണമല്ലതാനും

  98. يَقۡدُمُ قَوۡمَهُۥ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ فَأَوۡرَدَهُمُ ٱلنَّارَۖ وَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡوِرۡدُ ٱلۡمَوۡرُودُ

    98

    He will precede his people on the Day of Resurrection and lead them into the Fire; and wretched is the place to which they are led

    ഉയിര്‍ത്തെഴുന്നേല്‍പിന്‍റെ നാളില്‍ അവന്‍ (ഫിര്‍ഔന്‍) തന്‍റെ ജനതയുടെ മുമ്പിലുണ്ടായിരിക്കും. എന്നിട്ട് അവരെ അവന്‍ നരകത്തിലേക്കാനയിക്കും. (അവര്‍) ആനയിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന ആ സ്ഥാനം എത്ര ചീത്ത

  99. وَأُتۡبِعُواْ فِي هَٰذِهِۦ لَعۡنَةٗ وَيَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِۚ بِئۡسَ ٱلرِّفۡدُ ٱلۡمَرۡفُودُ

    99

    And they were followed in this [world] with a curse and on the Day of Resurrection. And wretched is the gift which is given

    ഈ ലോകത്തും ഉയിര്‍ത്തെഴുന്നേല്‍പിന്‍റെ നാളിലും ശാപം അവരുടെ പിന്നാലെ അയക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. (അവര്‍ക്ക്‌) നല്‍കപ്പെട്ട ആ സമ്മാനം എത്ര ചീത്ത

  100. ذَٰلِكَ مِنۡ أَنۢبَآءِ ٱلۡقُرَىٰ نَقُصُّهُۥ عَلَيۡكَۖ مِنۡهَا قَآئِمٞ وَحَصِيدٞ

    100

    That is from the news of the cities, which We relate to you; of them, some are [still] standing and some are [as] a harvest [mowed down]

    വിവിധ രാജ്യങ്ങളുടെ വൃത്താന്തങ്ങളില്‍ ചിലതത്രെ അത്‌. നാമത് നിനക്ക് വിവരിച്ചുതരുന്നു. അവയില്‍ (ആ രാജ്യങ്ങളില്‍) ചിലതു നിലനില്‍ക്കുന്നുണ്ട്‌. ചിലത് ഉന്‍മൂലനം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുമുണ്ട്‌

  101. وَمَا ظَلَمۡنَٰهُمۡ وَلَٰكِن ظَلَمُوٓاْ أَنفُسَهُمۡۖ فَمَآ أَغۡنَتۡ عَنۡهُمۡ ءَالِهَتُهُمُ ٱلَّتِي يَدۡعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مِن شَيۡءٖ لَّمَّا جَآءَ أَمۡرُ رَبِّكَۖ وَمَا زَادُوهُمۡ غَيۡرَ تَتۡبِيبٖ

    101

    And We did not wrong them, but they wronged themselves. And they were not availed at all by their gods which they invoked other than Allah when there came the command of your Lord. And they did not increase them in other than ruin

    നാം അവരോട് അക്രമം ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല. പക്ഷെ അവര്‍ അവരോട് തന്നെ അക്രമം പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുകയാണുണ്ടായത്‌. എന്നാല്‍ നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്‍റെ കല്‍പന വന്ന സമയത്ത് അല്ലാഹുവിന് പുറമെ അവര്‍ വിളിച്ച് പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥിച്ച് കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന അവരുടെ ദൈവങ്ങള്‍ അവര്‍ക്ക് യാതൊരു ഉപകാരവും ചെയ്തില്ല. അവര്‍ (ദൈവങ്ങള്‍) അവര്‍ക്ക് നാശം വര്‍ദ്ധിപ്പിക്കുക മാത്രമാണ് ചെയ്തത്‌

  102. وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَخۡذُ رَبِّكَ إِذَآ أَخَذَ ٱلۡقُرَىٰ وَهِيَ ظَٰلِمَةٌۚ إِنَّ أَخۡذَهُۥٓ أَلِيمٞ شَدِيدٌ

    102

    And thus is the seizure of your Lord when He seizes the cities while they are committing wrong. Indeed, His seizure is painful and severe

    വിവിധ രാജ്യക്കാര്‍ അക്രമികളായിരിക്കെ അവരെ പിടികൂടി ശിക്ഷിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്‍റെ പിടുത്തം അപ്രകാരമാകുന്നു. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവന്‍റെ പിടുത്തം വേദനയേറിയതും കഠിനമായതുമാണ്‌

  103. إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةٗ لِّمَنۡ خَافَ عَذَابَ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۚ ذَٰلِكَ يَوۡمٞ مَّجۡمُوعٞ لَّهُ ٱلنَّاسُ وَذَٰلِكَ يَوۡمٞ مَّشۡهُودٞ

    103

    Indeed in that is a sign for those who fear the punishment of the Hereafter. That is a Day for which the people will be collected, and that is a Day [which will be] witnessed

    പരലോകശിക്ഷയെ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നവര്‍ക്ക് തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അതില്‍ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തമുണ്ട്‌. സര്‍വ്വ മനുഷ്യരും സമ്മേളിപ്പിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരു ദിവസമാണത്‌. (സര്‍വ്വരുടെയും) സാന്നിദ്ധ്യമുണ്ടാകുന്ന ഒരു ദിവസമാകുന്നു അത്‌

  104. وَمَا نُؤَخِّرُهُۥٓ إِلَّا لِأَجَلٖ مَّعۡدُودٖ

    104

    And We do not delay it except for a limited term

    നിര്‍ണിതമായ ഒരു അവധിവരെ മാത്രമാണ് നാമത് നീട്ടിവെക്കുന്നത്‌

  105. يَوۡمَ يَأۡتِ لَا تَكَلَّمُ نَفۡسٌ إِلَّا بِإِذۡنِهِۦۚ فَمِنۡهُمۡ شَقِيّٞ وَسَعِيدٞ

    105

    The Day it comes no soul will speak except by His permission. And among them will be the wretched and the prosperous

    ആ അവധി വന്നെത്തുന്ന ദിവസം യാതൊരാളും അവന്‍റെ (അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ) അനുമതിയോടെയല്ലാതെ സംസാരിക്കുകയില്ല. അപ്പോള്‍ അവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില്‍ നിര്‍ഭാഗ്യവാനും സൌഭാഗ്യവാനുമുണ്ടാകും

  106. فَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ شَقُواْ فَفِي ٱلنَّارِ لَهُمۡ فِيهَا زَفِيرٞ وَشَهِيقٌ

    106

    As for those who were [destined to be] wretched, they will be in the Fire. For them therein is [violent] exhaling and inhaling

    എന്നാല്‍ നിര്‍ഭാഗ്യമടഞ്ഞവരാകട്ടെ അവര്‍ നരകത്തിലായിരിക്കും. അവര്‍ക്കവിടെ നെടുവീര്‍പ്പും തേങ്ങിക്കരച്ചിലുമാണുണ്ടായിരിക്കുക

  107. خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا مَا دَامَتِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُ وَٱلۡأَرۡضُ إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ رَبُّكَۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ فَعَّالٞ لِّمَا يُرِيدُ

    107

    [They will be] abiding therein as long as the heavens and the earth endure, except what your Lord should will. Indeed, your Lord is an effecter of what He intends

    ആകാശങ്ങളും ഭൂമിയും നിലനില്‍ക്കുന്നേടത്തോളം അവരതില്‍ നിത്യവാസികളായിരിക്കും. നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചതൊഴികെ. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് താന്‍ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നത് തികച്ചും നടപ്പിലാക്കുന്നവനാകുന്നു

  108. ۞وَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ سُعِدُواْ فَفِي ٱلۡجَنَّةِ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا مَا دَامَتِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُ وَٱلۡأَرۡضُ إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ رَبُّكَۖ عَطَآءً غَيۡرَ مَجۡذُوذٖ

    108

    And as for those who were [destined to be] prosperous, they will be in Paradise, abiding therein as long as the heavens and the earth endure, except what your Lord should will - a bestowal uninterrupted

    എന്നാല്‍ സൌഭാഗ്യം സിദ്ധിച്ചവരാകട്ടെ, അവര്‍ സ്വര്‍ഗത്തിലായിരിക്കും. ആകാശങ്ങളും ഭൂമിയും നിലനില്‍ക്കുന്നിടത്തോളം അവരതില്‍ നിത്യവാസികളായിരിക്കും. നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചതൊഴികെ. നിലച്ചുപോകാത്ത ഒരു ദാനമായിരിക്കും അത്‌

  109. فَلَا تَكُ فِي مِرۡيَةٖ مِّمَّا يَعۡبُدُ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِۚ مَا يَعۡبُدُونَ إِلَّا كَمَا يَعۡبُدُ ءَابَآؤُهُم مِّن قَبۡلُۚ وَإِنَّا لَمُوَفُّوهُمۡ نَصِيبَهُمۡ غَيۡرَ مَنقُوصٖ

    109

    So do not be in doubt, [O Muhammad], as to what these [polytheists] are worshipping. They worship not except as their fathers worshipped before. And indeed, We will give them their share undiminished

    അപ്പോള്‍ ഇക്കൂട്ടര്‍ ആരാധിച്ച് വരുന്നതിനെ സംബന്ധിച്ച് നീ യാതൊരു സംശയത്തിലും അകപ്പെടരുത്‌. മുമ്പ് ഇവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്‍മാര്‍ ആരാധിച്ചിരുന്ന അതേ രീതിയില്‍ ആരാധന നടത്തുക മാത്രമാണിവര്‍ ചെയ്യുന്നത്‌. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവര്‍ക്കുള്ള ഓഹരി കുറവൊന്നും വരുത്താതെ നാമവര്‍ക്ക് നിറവേറ്റികൊടുക്കുന്നതാണ്‌

  110. وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَيۡنَا مُوسَى ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ فَٱخۡتُلِفَ فِيهِۚ وَلَوۡلَا كَلِمَةٞ سَبَقَتۡ مِن رَّبِّكَ لَقُضِيَ بَيۡنَهُمۡۚ وَإِنَّهُمۡ لَفِي شَكّٖ مِّنۡهُ مُرِيبٖ

    110

    And We had certainly given Moses the Scripture, but it came under disagreement. And if not for a word that preceded from your Lord, it would have been judged between them. And indeed they are, concerning the Qur'an, in disquieting doubt

    മൂസായ്ക്ക് നാം വേദഗ്രന്ഥം നല്‍കുകയുണ്ടായി. എന്നിട്ട് അതിന്‍റെ കാര്യത്തില്‍ അഭിപ്രായഭിന്നതകള്‍ ഉണ്ടായി. നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിങ്കല്‍ നിന്ന് ഒരു വചനം മുന്‍കൂട്ടി ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ലെങ്കില്‍ അവര്‍ക്കിടയില്‍ വിധി നടത്തപ്പെടുമായിരുന്നു. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവര്‍ ഇതിനെപ്പറ്റി അവിശ്വാസജനകമായ സംശയത്തിലാകുന്നു

  111. وَإِنَّ كُلّٗا لَّمَّا لَيُوَفِّيَنَّهُمۡ رَبُّكَ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡۚ إِنَّهُۥ بِمَا يَعۡمَلُونَ خَبِيرٞ

    111

    And indeed, each [of the believers and disbelievers] - your Lord will fully compensate them for their deeds. Indeed, He is Acquainted with what they do

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവരില്‍ ഓരോ വിഭാഗത്തിനും നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് അവരവരുടെ കര്‍മ്മങ്ങള്‍ക്കുള്ള പ്രതിഫലം പൂര്‍ണ്ണമായി നല്‍കുകതന്നെ ചെയ്യും. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവന്‍ അവര്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്നതിനെപ്പറ്റി സൂക്ഷ്മമായി അറിയുന്നവനാകുന്നു

  112. فَٱسۡتَقِمۡ كَمَآ أُمِرۡتَ وَمَن تَابَ مَعَكَ وَلَا تَطۡغَوۡاْۚ إِنَّهُۥ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ بَصِيرٞ

    112

    So remain on a right course as you have been commanded, [you] and those who have turned back with you [to Allah], and do not transgress. Indeed, He is Seeing of what you do

    ആകയാല്‍ നീ കല്‍പിക്കപ്പെട്ടതു പോലെ നീയും നിന്നോടൊപ്പം (അല്ലാഹുവിങ്കലേക്ക്‌) മടങ്ങിയവരും നേരായ മാര്‍ഗത്തില്‍ നിലകൊള്ളുക. നിങ്ങള്‍ അതിരുവിട്ട് പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കരുത്‌. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവന്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്നതെല്ലാം കണ്ടറിയുന്നവനാണ്‌

  113. وَلَا تَرۡكَنُوٓاْ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ فَتَمَسَّكُمُ ٱلنَّارُ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مِنۡ أَوۡلِيَآءَ ثُمَّ لَا تُنصَرُونَ

    113

    And do not incline toward those who do wrong, lest you be touched by the Fire, and you would not have other than Allah any protectors; then you would not be helped

    അക്രമം പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചവരുടെ പക്ഷത്തേക്ക് നിങ്ങള്‍ ചായരുത്‌. എങ്കില്‍ നരകം നിങ്ങളെ സ്പര്‍ശിക്കുന്നതാണ്‌. അല്ലാഹുവിന് പുറമെ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് രക്ഷാധികാരികളേയില്ല. പിന്നീട് നിങ്ങള്‍ സഹായിക്കപ്പെടുന്നതല്ല

  114. وَأَقِمِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ طَرَفَيِ ٱلنَّهَارِ وَزُلَفٗا مِّنَ ٱلَّيۡلِۚ إِنَّ ٱلۡحَسَنَٰتِ يُذۡهِبۡنَ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِۚ ذَٰلِكَ ذِكۡرَىٰ لِلذَّـٰكِرِينَ

    114

    And establish prayer at the two ends of the day and at the approach of the night. Indeed, good deeds do away with misdeeds. That is a reminder for those who remember

    പകലിന്‍റെ രണ്ടറ്റങ്ങളിലും, രാത്രിയിലെ ആദ്യയാമങ്ങളിലും നീ നമസ്കാരം മുറപോലെ നിര്‍വഹിക്കുക. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും സല്‍കര്‍മ്മങ്ങള്‍ ദുഷ്കര്‍മ്മങ്ങളെ നീക്കികളയുന്നതാണ്‌. ചിന്തിച്ചു ഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നവര്‍ക്ക് ഒരു ഉല്‍ബോധനമാണത്‌

  115. وَٱصۡبِرۡ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُضِيعُ أَجۡرَ ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ

    115

    And be patient, for indeed, Allah does not allow to be lost the reward of those who do good

    നീ ക്ഷമിക്കുക. സുകൃതവാന്‍മാരുടെ പ്രതിഫലം അല്ലാഹു നഷ്ടപ്പെടുത്തിക്കളയുകയില്ല;തീര്‍ച്ച

  116. فَلَوۡلَا كَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡقُرُونِ مِن قَبۡلِكُمۡ أُوْلُواْ بَقِيَّةٖ يَنۡهَوۡنَ عَنِ ٱلۡفَسَادِ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ إِلَّا قَلِيلٗا مِّمَّنۡ أَنجَيۡنَا مِنۡهُمۡۗ وَٱتَّبَعَ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ مَآ أُتۡرِفُواْ فِيهِ وَكَانُواْ مُجۡرِمِينَ

    116

    So why were there not among the generations before you those of enduring discrimination forbidding corruption on earth - except a few of those We saved from among them? But those who wronged pursued what luxury they were given therein, and they were criminals

    ഭൂമിയില്‍ നാശമുണ്ടാക്കുന്നതില്‍ നിന്ന് (ജനങ്ങളെ) തടയുന്ന, (നന്‍മയുടെ) പാരമ്പര്യമുള്ള ഒരു വിഭാഗം നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കുമുമ്പുള്ള തലമുറകളില്‍ നിന്ന് എന്തുകൊണ്ട് ഉണ്ടായില്ല? അവരില്‍ നിന്ന് നാം രക്ഷപ്പെടുത്തി എടുത്ത കൂട്ടത്തില്‍ പെട്ട ചുരുക്കം ചിലരൊഴികെ. എന്നാല്‍ അക്രമകാരികള്‍ തങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് നല്‍കപ്പെട്ട സുഖാഡംബരങ്ങളുടെ പിന്നാലെ പോകുകയാണ് ചെയ്തത്‌. അവര്‍ കുറ്റവാളികളായിരിക്കുന്നു

  117. وَمَا كَانَ رَبُّكَ لِيُهۡلِكَ ٱلۡقُرَىٰ بِظُلۡمٖ وَأَهۡلُهَا مُصۡلِحُونَ

    117

    And your Lord would not have destroyed the cities unjustly while their people were reformers

    നാട്ടുകാര്‍ സല്‍പ്രവൃത്തികള്‍ ചെയ്യുന്നവരായിരിക്കെ നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് അന്യായമായി രാജ്യങ്ങള്‍ നശിപ്പിക്കുന്നതല്ല

  118. وَلَوۡ شَآءَ رَبُّكَ لَجَعَلَ ٱلنَّاسَ أُمَّةٗ وَٰحِدَةٗۖ وَلَا يَزَالُونَ مُخۡتَلِفِينَ

    118

    And if your Lord had willed, He could have made mankind one community; but they will not cease to differ

    നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍ മനുഷ്യരെ അവന്‍ ഒരൊറ്റ സമുദായമാക്കുമായിരുന്നു. (എന്നാല്‍) അവര്‍ ഭിന്നിച്ചുകൊണേ്ടയിരിക്കുന്നതാണ്‌

  119. إِلَّا مَن رَّحِمَ رَبُّكَۚ وَلِذَٰلِكَ خَلَقَهُمۡۗ وَتَمَّتۡ كَلِمَةُ رَبِّكَ لَأَمۡلَأَنَّ جَهَنَّمَ مِنَ ٱلۡجِنَّةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ أَجۡمَعِينَ

    119

    Except whom your Lord has given mercy, and for that He created them. But the word of your Lord is to be fulfilled that, "I will surely fill Hell with jinn and men all together

    നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് കരുണ ചെയ്തവരൊഴികെ. അതിന്നുവേണ്ടിയാണ് അവന്‍ അവരെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചത്‌. ജിന്നുകള്‍, മനുഷ്യര്‍ എന്നീ രണ്ട് വിഭാഗത്തെയും കൊണ്ട് ഞാന്‍ നരകം നിറക്കുക തന്നെ ചെയ്യുന്നതാണ് എന്ന നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്‍റെ വചനം നിറവേറിയിരിക്കുന്നു

  120. وَكُلّٗا نَّقُصُّ عَلَيۡكَ مِنۡ أَنۢبَآءِ ٱلرُّسُلِ مَا نُثَبِّتُ بِهِۦ فُؤَادَكَۚ وَجَآءَكَ فِي هَٰذِهِ ٱلۡحَقُّ وَمَوۡعِظَةٞ وَذِكۡرَىٰ لِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

    120

    And each [story] We relate to you from the news of the messengers is that by which We make firm your heart. And there has come to you, in this, the truth and an instruction and a reminder for the believers

    ദൈവദൂതന്‍മാരുടെ വൃത്താന്തങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്ന് നിന്‍റെ മനസ്സിന് സൈ്ഥര്യം നല്‍കുന്നതെല്ലാം നിനക്ക് നാം വിവരിച്ചുതരുന്നു. ഇതിലൂടെ യഥാര്‍ത്ഥ വിവരവും, സത്യവിശ്വാസികള്‍ക്ക് വേണ്ട സദുപദേശവും, ഉല്‍ബോധനവും നിനക്ക് വന്നുകിട്ടിയിരിക്കുകയാണ്‌

  121. وَقُل لِّلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ ٱعۡمَلُواْ عَلَىٰ مَكَانَتِكُمۡ إِنَّا عَٰمِلُونَ

    121

    And say to those who do not believe, "Work according to your position; indeed, we are working

    വിശ്വസിക്കാത്തവരോട് നീ പറയുക: നിങ്ങള്‍ നിങ്ങളുടെ നിലപാടനുസരിച്ച് പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ച് കൊള്ളുക. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഞങ്ങളും പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുകയാണ്‌

  122. وَٱنتَظِرُوٓاْ إِنَّا مُنتَظِرُونَ

    122

    And wait, indeed, we are waiting

    നിങ്ങള്‍ കാത്തിരിക്കുക. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഞങ്ങളും കാത്തിരിക്കുകയാണ്‌

  123. وَلِلَّهِ غَيۡبُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَإِلَيۡهِ يُرۡجَعُ ٱلۡأَمۡرُ كُلُّهُۥ فَٱعۡبُدۡهُ وَتَوَكَّلۡ عَلَيۡهِۚ وَمَا رَبُّكَ بِغَٰفِلٍ عَمَّا تَعۡمَلُونَ

    123

    And to Allah belong the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and the earth and to Him will be returned the matter, all of it, so worship Him and rely upon Him. And your Lord is not unaware of that which you do

    ആകാശഭൂമികളിലെ അദൃശ്യയാഥാര്‍ത്ഥ്യങ്ങളെ പറ്റിയുള്ള അറിവ് അല്ലാഹുവിന്നുള്ളതാണ്‌. അവങ്കലേക്ക് തന്നെ കാര്യമെല്ലാം മടക്കപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്യും. ആകയാല്‍ നീ അവനെ ആരാധിക്കുകയും, അവന്‍റെ മേല്‍ ഭരമേല്‍പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക. നിങ്ങള്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്നതിനെപ്പറ്റിയൊന്നും നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് അശ്രദ്ധനല്ല
