الفيل

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

1. أَلَمۡ تَرَ كَيۡفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلۡفِيلِ

   ✦1

   Have you not considered, [O Muhammad], how your Lord dealt with the companions of the elephant

   ആനക്കാരെക്കൊണ്ട് നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചത് എങ്ങനെ എന്ന് നീ കണ്ടില്ലേ

2. أَلَمۡ يَجۡعَلۡ كَيۡدَهُمۡ فِي تَضۡلِيلٖ

   ✦2

   Did He not make their plan into misguidance

   അവരുടെ തന്ത്രം അവന്‍ പിഴവിലാക്കിയില്ലേ

3. وَأَرۡسَلَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ طَيۡرًا أَبَابِيلَ

   ✦3

   And He sent against them birds in flocks

   കൂട്ടംകൂട്ടമായിക്കൊണ്ടുള്ള പക്ഷികളെ അവരുടെ നേര്‍ക്ക് അവന്‍ അയക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു

4. تَرۡمِيهِم بِحِجَارَةٖ مِّن سِجِّيلٖ

   ✦4

   Striking them with stones of hard clay

   ചുട്ടുപഴുപ്പിച്ച കളിമണ്‍കല്ലുകള്‍കൊണ്ട് അവരെ എറിയുന്നതായ

5. فَجَعَلَهُمۡ كَعَصۡفٖ مَّأۡكُولِۭ

   ✦5

   And He made them like eaten straw

   അങ്ങനെ അവന്‍ അവരെ തിന്നൊടുക്കപ്പെട്ട വൈക്കോല്‍ തുരുമ്പുപോലെയാക്കി
